Chapter 3.... Meeting Him

I went back to my hotel and started to unpack then I got a text and found out it was from Scott "hey its Scott do you want to stop over to my girlfriends house and we can talk" I texted him back "okay send me the address and I'll drive over there". I quickly took a shower and got ready then drove over to his girlfriends house I was surprised that he had a girlfriend. I walked up to the door and knocked I heard someone walk to the door and opened it a tall man answered it "hi you must be Star, Scott's friend I'm Chris Argent" he held out his hand and I shook it.

"Nice to meet you" "Scott and Allison is up in her room" he showed me her room and I walked in falling in love with her room "hey" said the girl next to Scott. "Hi you must be Allison" I said as she stood up and shook my hand she was really pretty and I could tell why Scott liked her so much "Allison this is my long time friend Bailey" I quickly created him "Star I changed it" "why did you change it" Allison asked "I needed a change".

We talked for awhile then it started to get late "well I better get going" I said standing up from sitting in one of her chairs "okay I hope to see you soon" Allison said. "Ya I have to get home too before my mom freaks out on me" Scott said as he gave Allison a kiss goodbye and we walked out "hey I know I shouldn't be asking but" Scott started rubbing the back of his neck "you need a ride home" I said with a grin.

He laughed "ya Allison gave me a ride before" "sure hop in" I said as I took him home "wow nice car how could you afford this" I laughed "you make it sound like I'm broke" "no I just didn't think you were into these kind of fast cars and dressing this way".

I couldn't help but laugh a little "ya well I've changed a lot since the last time you saw me" I said a little quiet "ya you have" I looked at Scott surprised that he could hear me but brushed it off. "I'm not the only one who's changed I mean look at you with a girlfriend and everything" he blushed "OH shut up" he said as we both smiled "so what about you, you have a boyfriend".

My smile sorta faded away but quick brought it back "no I used to but not anymore" "why what happen" he asked "just wasn't my type" technically I wasn't lying to him my ex really wasn't my type.

I polled into his moms driveway "it was nice catching up Bailey I mean Star" he smirked I did a small laugh "you too" "by the way how long are you staying" "I don't know. There's a few things I have to figure out before I leave" he did his small smile "well for me I hope whatever you need to figure out takes awhile bye" "see ya" I said as he walked in the house and sighed "to bad I don't" I said to myself and drove home.

I unlocked my room and walked in setting my purse down it was too late to go for a run so I got ready for bed and grabbed my suitcase and dug to the bottom of it and pulled out a small, old, book and sat on my bed. I started to read it I was almost done with it I had started reading this journal that was passed down by my mother about a month and still didn't understand it all. I fell asleep reading it and woke up around seven and got up I picked up my clothes and took a shower then got ready to go for a run and grabbed my phone and headphones and left.

I ran out in the woods because I loved running in the woods and watch the trees fly by me and hear the birds chirp as they got up I had ran for about 20 minutes before I spotted something in the woods. I started to walk towards it and as I got closer saw a huge, black, house that you could tell had caught on fire and burnt down a little bit in places.

I walked up the couple of stairs and heard it creak as I did I opened up the door and walked in I looked and saw stairs right in front of me that headed to an upstairs; on my right was a kitchen and on my left was a living room the place was dark and looked like it should have been in a horror movie. I looked around and walked into the living room where there was a fireplace close to the entrance I saw shoe prints in the dirt and bent down to look at them. They looked to be a mans who might be in their late teens, early 20s then I heard a noise behind me and quick turned around there was this guy standing there I remembered him. Derek.

"I'm sorry I didn't think anyone was here" I quickly said "how did you find this place" he asked "I was running and came across it" I said "do you live here" I asked he was silent "sorry again I should get going". I walked passed him and about to walk outside "hey Bailey" he said surprising me that he remembered my name "ya Derek" I asked with a smile and he smiled too "how do you know Scott".

"Long story short, we grew up together" I said and walked out of the house I knew Derek followed me "I know you're following me" I said still walking "why would you be running out here" he asked "I like to run" "ya but why out here and this late". I stopped and turned around he was right there in front of me "I like running in the woods it makes feel, free and I always run in the morning".

I started to walk away and knew that Derek didn't follow me this time I decided when I wasn't in sight I would go back to running but this time to the hotel. I texted Scott and told him that we should all hang out I decided to meet then up at school I got there 15 minutes before they were about to get out. I stood there by my car I had jeans with a few holes in them, a dark red shirt, and my black, leather, jacket; I almost never went anywhere without my lather jacket it had almost everything I needed.

Then I heard the school bell ring and out came kids I saw the same girl who was studding my out fit yesterday. Scott, Allison, and Stiles walked up to me "hey" they all said "hi who's that" I asked looking at the girl and pointed to her "o that's Lydia" Allison said. "Ya the one Stiles had a crush on since second grade" Scott said with a smirk "on that Lydia hm still have a crush on her" I said looking at Stiles and he gave me a "really" look. "I think there's some drool there" Allison said looking at him too "can we just go before she hears us and I becomes girl meat".

We all laughed "we're too" I asked "how about bowling" Allison said "fine by me, boys" I asked looking at them. "Fine by us how about I ride with Stiles and Alison can ride with you, girl time" Scott said "okay" I said and got in my car as Scott gave Allison a kiss goodbye.

Allison hoped in next to me and we drive to the bowling alley "so you and Scott" I asked "ya" she said with a smile "not to be mean but why him" I asked which made her laugh. "I don't know there was just something about him that made me like him" she said and in my head I was gagging "so now I have to ask did you and Scott ever date" she asked me "that would be a no when we were kids he liked me but we just stayed friends but don't worry he is completely over me promise".

"Don't worry I trust you" she said with a smile "I have a question to ask you and can you not tell Stiles or Scott about it" "um ya" she said confused "do you know Derek Hail" there was a slight pause "ya I mean not personally but just hearing about him I mean I'm new so". "Okay" "why were you asking" she asked "just wondering when we were kids he was always so weird so I didn't know if he was still in town or not" I lied "oh okay" Allison said.
