Chapter 10

Scott

“So when did you get there” my dad/ the officer asked Stiles, Kira, Lydia, and I “at the same time” I said “at the same time as who”. “At the same time as me” I said “by coincidence” my dad asked confused “what do you mean coincidence” Stiles asked. “That's what I'm asking you, the two of you arrived at the same time; was that a coincidence” the officer asked “are you asking me” Stiles asked.

“I think he's asking me” I said “I think he's asking the both of you” Lydia said “okay, let me answer the questions” Stiles dad said. “Let me ask the questions, just so I have this absolutely clear. Barrow was hiding in the chemistry closet at the school, someone left him a coded message on the blackboard telling him to kill Kira, then Barrow took Kira to a power substation and tied her up with the intent of electrocuting her, which blacked out the entire town” my dad asked us.

“Sounds about right” Stiles said “so no one was else was there besides you four and Barrow” “yup” I said. “How did you know he'd take her to a power station” my dad asked us “well, 'cause he was an electrical engineer, so where else would he take her” Stiles said. “That's one hell of a deduction there, Stiles” “yeah, what can I say, I take after my pops. He's in law enforcement” his dad does a small laugh but coughs “Stiles, just, Just answer the man” he said.

“We made a good guess” Stiles said “what were the two of you doing” “eating pizza” I say as Kira said “eating sushi”. “Eating sushi” I said as Kira said “eating pizza” then we both said “eating sushi and pizza”. “You believe this” my father asked looking at Stiles dad “to be honest, I haven't believed a word Stiles has said since he learned how to speak. But I think these kids found themselves in the right place at the right time and that girl sitting there is very lucky for it”.

“Kira, is that how you remember it” my dad asked Kira as we all looked at her “yes” my dad sighed “alright” he said as we all stood up and walked out of the room. “Could I get my phone back now” Kira asked my dad “sorry, but no”. “I'll take you home” I said to Kira “actually Kira, a deputy is going to take you home, but we'll need you to fill out some paperwork first”.

Kira fallowed a officer “Scott, I don't know why you guys are lying or why Stilinski is content to listen to this crap, but try and remember something. If half this story about Barrow is true, then not only did someone help set him loose, but he was a pawn in their little game. A mass murderer is bad enough. A mass murderer being controlled by someone, far worse” “yeah, I get it” I said a little annoyed.

“All right, go home, it's a school night” my dad said as I walked away.

Star

I woke up, realizing that I was in Derek's bed “Derek” I asked sitting up “hey” he said with a smile on my face as he sat next to me. “What happened” I asked “you where electrocuted” Derek said as I couldn't help but do a small laugh “wow, still not dead yet” I said as Derek smiled. “Ya, I'm glade your not” I smiled and sat up “what time is it” “almost 7:30” “crap I have to go to school” I said getting up.

Derek polled me next to him on the bed “you know you don't have to” “yes I do, beside I need to let Scott know I'm ok” I said. Derek sighed “ok, love you” I smiled at his words “love you too” I said kissing him then getting up and getting ready for school. “I'll take you to school” Derek said grabbing his black leather jacket and sun glasses “you don't need to” I said to him.

“I want to, I haven't really gotten any time with you” Derek said, I knew he never acted like this with anyone before “ok” I said as we got in his car and drove to school. When we polled up everyone was staring at Derek's car as I got out and went over to his side of the car. “I'll see ya after school” “ok, love you” “love you too” I said and kissed him before walking into school.

“Class starts in five minutes, just because there's no powerdon't expect thereto be no school” couch yelled threw a megaphone. “That was a triple negative, very impressive, Coach” Stiles said “copy that” couch said as I saw Stiles and walked over to him “hey” “hey your alive” Stiles says with a smile on his face “wow, thanks” I said as we see Scott and join him.

“Your ok” Scott says “ya, so are you” I said as he notices Kira and goes to walk towards her “no, no, stop, stop” “what, I need to talk to her” Scott said as I stood next to Stiles. “No, you need to remember someone left a coded message telling Barrow to kill her” “which is why I need to talk to her” “Scott, no way. Until we figure out if she's just another psychotic monster that's going to start murdering everybody, I vote against any and all interaction” Stiles said.

“I agree with Stiles, its not safe for you to talk to her” “thank you” Stiles said to me “that's why I'll talk to he” Stiles quick looks at me. “Its not like she can hurt me” I said and started to walk over to Kira.

Scott
“No one listens to me anymore” Stiles says “dude, what if she's like me” “who, Star”? “No, Kira” I said “that girl walked through 1.21 jigawatts of electricity, she's not like you” Stiles said to me, making me annoyed. I saw Star talking with Kira as she seemed to listen to Star, I hope she doesn't tell her anything.

Star

“I thought you were dead” Kira asked me “I've been getting that a lot lately, nope still here” I said with a laugh. “But I saw you get electrocuted, you flew threw the air” Kira asked “long story on that” I said as Kira looked at me confused “Scott can explain that one to you” I said. “I just wanted to make sure you were ok, by the way between us girls, do you like Scott” I asked Kira.

She quick looked up at me “maybe” “its ok if you do, between you and me I think he likes you too” I said as she smiled and I walked away. I walked past Scott as he looked at me, he must have been listening to me “why did you do that” “someone had to, go talk to her, its Halloween, besides I have to meet up with someone tonight” I said walking away.

I'm still not a huge fan of school no matter how many times I'm in it. I decided to surprise Derek tonight.

Derek

I got out of my car and looked at a few things in the back as a group of kids come up to me “trick or treat” I turn around as the kids watch my hand reach in the back of my car and poll out some candy and put some in there bags as they look at me kinda scared. After a few seconds I give them a growl and they run off screaming “I guess someone doesn't like kids” I turn around to see Star with her arm crossed against his chest.

“Not a huge fan, but I hate Halloween” I said as I put the candy back “how, Halloween is amazing, you get to be what ever you want to be” Star asked me. “Easily” I said “I've never been the biggest fan of Halloween” I said to her as she rolled her eyes at me “so do you want do anything tonight” Star asked me as I hated to tell her no but I had to.

“Can't I have to be some where tonight” she sighed “ok, that's fine” “I'm sorry” I said to her as he walked up to me grabbing my right hand with a sweet smile before flipping me over and I landed on my back. She got down to my face “that's ok, that just mean I get to do that to you” she gave me a quick kiss as I kissed her back before she ran off and I rolled my eyes before standing up.

When I stood up I looked around and saw these black, masked figures “crap” I said to myself.
