Chapter 14

Star

We walked around the hallways and into different rooms “so did you set Scott up to searching for Stiles with me” I asked Derek. “No” Derek said as I looked at him “well then he is really smart” I said with a smile and going back to looking around. It was silent as we kept looking “listen Derek, I'm sorry” I said as we stopped “I guess I'm scared” “about what” Derek asked.

I looked ta the ground “that I really do have something to do with this, that I am controlling these dark spirits” I said. “Listen, look at me, your one of the nicest people I've ever meant, I mean you changed me. Your not evil, your the opposite” Derek said with a smile as I smile back at him. Derek kissed me as I kissed him back then I remembered something.

I polled away “Derek I have to tell you something” I said almost a whisper “what” Derek asked. “Remember when I died I thought that you were going to go off, find a mate and everything. Then I found out that I was your mate until I died then everything changed and I wasn't anymore. So when I came back to life I guess it was a surprise for everything that I did come back to life and I thought it would just go back to normal and I would be your mate again”.

Derek looked at me confused but was silent and listened to every word as I spoke not really wanting to finish but I couldn't stop now. “I tried to figure out what was going on so I started to ask questions and found something out” I stopped not wanting to finish it. “What” I sill didn't answer him “Star you can tell me” Derek said as he looked into my eyes as I refused to look at him until I spoke again. “When I died I found out that the connection between us was broken and a new one was formed, but with someone else”.

“Who” Derek asked as I could sense he didn't really want to know but I knew he wanted to also “Scott” I whispered but knew he heard me as his face fell with no emotions. It was silent “Derek please say something” I said a little nervous and upset that I had to tell him. He surprised me by kissing me, hard as I backed up against the lockers “Derek what are you doing, I just told you that Scott and I” I said polling away but before I could finish Derek spoke.

“Listen the feelings I've had for you for years even with us being together has never changed even after you died. I love you no mater what” Derek said with a smile as I smiled back at him and kissed him again. The next thing I knew I was reaching for the teacher lounge door knob, opened it as Derek kicked the door shut still kissing me.

Lydia

We ended up going to the old Mental Health Care building where I thought Stiles would be in the basement, I was sure of it. “It's here, it's right here” Style's dad asked me “ya, Stiles” I called out but no one answered as I kept looking around “Lydia” Aiden asked me “I don't get it. This has to be it” I said “then where is he, huh” Style's dad asked me, grabbing my arms and yelling at me “where is he, where is he”. He realized what her was doing “I'm sorry” I said to him as he let me go and walked back up the stairs “I don't understand, I thought he would be here” I said confused.

Star

Derek and I met with Ethan at Style's car and would see if we could try and make it run again, luckily we were able to. “So, you think he was just sleepwalking, or is there something more to it” Ethan asked “in this town there's always something more” Derek said. “What if I told you I know something more, I kind of overheard well, I listened in on Stiles talking to Scott. How he thinks he was the one who wrote that message in the Chemistry room, the message telling Barrow to kill Kira” Ethan said.

“You think Stiles, skinny, defenseless, Stiles is the powerful, dark spirit” Derek asked “I mean I have to agree Stiles” I asked. “I'm not the only one thinking it, I'm just the only one saying it” Ethan said “true” I said practically under my breath. “This thing wants to possess someone and chooses Stiles “why not take someone more powerful” Derek said as I leaned on the car. “Ya like me” I said quietly to myself then remembered something that I never did before.

“Oh my god” I said to myself as Derek and one of the twins looked at me “what” Derek asked. “It makes sense now” I said as I stopped leaning on Style's cab “what does” “remember when those dark spirit’s came to Scott's house as we tried to protect him and every time when someone would touch them it would go right thru them except for me”.

They both shook their heads “what if the reason why I could touch them was because I could control them. Just think they never tied to hurt me, when they went after Derek I yelled at them not to and they listened” “not well” Derek added. “Ya but they didn't hurt you that bad or kill you” I said as I got a text from Melissa saying they needed help finding Stiles. “Listen I have to go, Melissa has and idea of where Stiles may be, but I think I know whats going on” I said and ran off.

I met up with Melissa and Scott's dad as they fallowed me deep into the woods “no, no, no, no” we heard someone yell “no wait, wait” I listened and finally saw him as he kept screaming and looked like he was struggling “wait” Stiles yelled “Stiles, Stiles” I said shaking him as his eyes flew open and he hung onto my arm and me like he was going to fall if he didn't

“Stiles, you're all right, you're all right, Stiles, you're all right” I whispered to him as I looked up at Melissa and Scott's dad. When I looked down at Stiles again I saw something in his hand and grabbed it from him as I looked at it and noticed it was a necklace, realizing who's it was. We brought him to the hospital and waited in the waiting room for Melissa to tell us how he is.

Style's dad waked up to me as I leaned on the wall while everyone sat down “I wanted to thank you” “its wasn't me” I started. “You found him, thank you” Style's dad said as he hugged me surprising me a little as I hugged him back “He'll be ok” I said. Melissa came out “well” Scott asked “he's sleeping now, and he's just fine. He doesn't remember much, it's a bit like a dream to him” Melissa said as we all sighed with relief. “Scott I tried calling you before but you never picked up so I had to call Star” Scott looked at Melissa confused.

“What” he said getting his phone out as it showed a dark phone “maybe its dead” Issac said. All of a sudden it turned on “I would never turn my phone off, not at this time” Scott said still confused. I walked over to Derek “we need to talk” I said as I polled him to the side “what is it” “I don't think Scott turned off his phone” “then why was it off” Derek asked.

“Listen I found something when I went to search for Stiles and found something with him” “what” Derek asked as I reached in my pocket and polled out the necklace. Derek eyes went huge when he saw the necklace “I remember you showing me a pitcher of your mom with this kind of necklace, if I remember correctly this was your moms” I said. Derek took the necklace “it can't be, I buried it with her” Derek said “maybe Stiles got it”.

Derek looked at me “ya because Stiles would take the time of day to dig up my dead, moms grave, grab a necklace, and put her back” Derek said. “I don't know but what I do know is it wouldn't surprise me if he did” I said as Scott came outside and jogged over to us. “Stiles is going to get some test and he wants you and I in there” “ok” I said as Scott jogged back inside.

“I'll talk you later” I said to Derek “are you sure you don't want me to come” Derek asked “no its ok” I said with a smile and kissed Derek goodbye before going back inside.
