Chapter 25

Star

I opened my eyes and looking around as I tried to catch my breath. I laid on the sand on the beach. I rolled over on my stomach and lifted up my shirt to see that where I shot myself was completely held, great. I stood up as my wet clothes stuck to my body and my hair fell in front of my face. I looked around and started to walk in the woods towards Scott's house.

I don't know why I was going to Scott's house but I didn't want to go to Derek's. I walked up to his door and knocked on it, hoping he was home.

Scott

I sat in my room, doing my homework. I haven't seen Derek since yesterday when Star fell off the cliff, I didn't even know if she was alive or not. All of a sudden I heard a knock at my door and quick jogged down the stairs to the front door and opened it. My eyes went huge and my mouth dropped open a bit as I looked at who stood in my doorway. “Star” I asked not believing what I was seeing “I guess I really can't die” Star said with her arms rapped around her body.

I quick opened the door as she walked inside and grabbed a blanket, putting it around her “your freezing” I said as we sat on the couch. “I know, I thought that the freezing water or the silver water would have killed me but that still didn't work” Star said as she hugged the blanket close to her. “Why did you do it” I asked almost a whisper “because” she paused for a second “I don't know, I want to say that it was the Gitsunis telling me to do it but she was actually telling me not to do it” Star said a bit surprised.

“We have been trying to find a way to get this out of you and Stiles” I said to Star “Stiles” Star whispered to herself “oh my god”. She quick stood up “whats wrong” I asked standing up and fallowing her to my phone. “Stiles, I watched him, he cut cut or something he's hurt, bad” I said as she dialed a number in the phone. “Who are you calling” I asked “Lydia, she always find's people, maybe she can find Stiles” Star said holding the phone up to her ear.

It rang for a minuet before Ethan answered it “hello” he said on the other end “Ethan, I need your help, I need you to tell Lydia to look for Stiles, he's out there and hes hurt” Star said into the phone. “Nothing has been going on, Lydia isn't acting wired or anything” Ethan said as I heard Lydia hit him. “Put Lydia on the phone for a second, I have an idea” Star said as I heard Lydia's voice “hello” she said “Lydia, find Stiles” Star said as there was a small pause. “What happened” I asked Star as she looked at me.

“I don't know” Star said to me as we waited for someone to say something “hey Star what ever you did it worked” Ethan said “Lydia watch out, Lydia, Lydia” I heard Ethan said and then there was nothing. “Ethan, Ethan, Ethan are you okay, Ethan” Star practically yelled into the phone. “We're fine but we found something, I'll call you back” Ethan said as the line went dead. “I think they found Stiles” Star said hanging up the phone. “Star, Lydia finds dead bodies” I said to Star as she sighed and looked at me “I know” Star said almost a whisper.

Derek

I stood next to the window in front of me and stared out it. “Nice to know you didn't throw a party when I died the first time” I heard someone say behind me and turned around to see Star standing on the second step. I grew a smile “I was considering it” I said with my arms crossed at my chest and a smirk on my face. Star's smile disappeared “they found Stiles, he's hurt” Star said as I walked over to her and she noticed something on my shoulder and turned me around. “What happen” Star asked me “your freezing” I said to her as I felt her cold hands on my shoulder. “I know, what happen, did I do this” Star polled away from me “no you didn't” I quick said “it was thous dark spirit I'll be fine, here” I said grabbing a blanket and rapping my arms around her.

“I thought died” “again” Star finished with a smile as she leaned her head on my chest “ya”. “I was about too, I thought that the silver bullet would kill me and if that didn't work then the cold water would, but nothing happened, I was knocked out for a few hours and that was it” Star said. I let my arms down and walked over to a chest seat that I still didn't seat up as Star walked over to me “all healed” I heard someone say behind me and knew it was Peter.

“Giving you the alarm code was a bad idea” I said annoyed “Star, good to see your alive again” Peter said to Star as she held the blanket around her. “What are you doing and more importantly, why aren't you healing” Peter asked “it's from one of their swords, it'll heal” I said “by playing Chess” Peter asked “no, do you know how to play Chess” I asked Star. “No, I'm really good at Checkers but Chess I don't know” Star said to me.

“Back in his room, Stiles had a board with my name on one of the pieces, if this is a game to him, then I need to figure out the plays” I said to Peter as I stared at the now seat up chess board. “Not so easy to do when it's a game without rules” Peter said walking up to me as Star leaned on the table. “What does that mean” “you're dealing with the kind of spirit that's lived too long to play by human rules, it's a fox spirit that chose to become human” Peter said. “If a kitsune is an annoying pain in the ass, then a Gitsune and Gitsunis is a freaking disaster” Star said to us.

“Besides, chess isn't Stiles's game, its the Gitsune's game” Star finished and walked back over to us. “What do you mean” Peter asked “when we were kids Stiles like to play against me with Checkers, he didn't like Chess” Star said and walked over to the kitchen to get something to drink. “Makes sense” I whispered to myself “do yourself a favor and put something on that, before it gets infected” Peter said and left.

Star

I leaned on the table and looked at something that caught my eyes. A fly that was heading towards Derek, it didn't look like an original fly. I quick ran over and grabbed it as Derek turned around “what happened”. “This isn't an original fly, its the Gitsune fly” I said showing Derek before crushing it in my hand. “I think there's more of these things flying around” I said and grabbed my phone as it went off and I checked to see Scott texted me.

“What is it” Derek asked me as I took my blanket off and opened up my suitcase grabbing a new blue shirt and pair of pants. “Scott just texted me and they found Stiles and are taking him back to his house, I have to go over to them” I said and quick got dressed. “Why do you have to” Derek asked me as I slipped my shirt over my face and putting my hair up in a pony-tale. “Because I may be the only one that can help them out with the Gitsune”.

“I'll come with you” Derek said grabbing his jacket while I grabbed my black, leather jacket and stopped him. “No, you have to go worn people and let them know about the flies” I said and went to walk outside “who am I suppose to tell” Derek yelled behind me. “Everyone” I yelled behind me before running outside and looking around for my car or Derek's. I sighed when I didn't see any of them “looking for something” Derek asked me “ya, my car” I said.

“I think you'll like this better” Derek said opening a small garage and there stood a black and silver motorcycle. “Oh my god, you didn't” I said with a huge smile “I figured you needed something that could drive in the woods with” Derek said as I kissed him and jumped on my motorcycle. “This is amazing” “you know how to drive” Derek asked me as I started it. “Boy do I” I said with a huge smile and drove out of the garage towards Scott's house.
