Chapter 9

Star

“We got an APB out on Lydia's car, every unit on the road is looking for her” the sheriff said “isn't there anything else that we could do” Stiles asked “at this hour, no, not really” Sheriff said. “He took her for a reason, Dad” Stiles started to say “look, if we can figure out the why, then we'll figure out the where, okay” Sheriff asked us “okay” I said for everyone. “So all w have to do really is find Lidia, kill the Kitsune, and move on with our lives” I asked “ya that about sums it up” Scott said to me “what about the Kitsunis, where did it go” Stile's dad asked me. “I don't know, all I know is that its not inside of me, right now” I said whispering the last part.

“What would a Kitsune need with a Banshee” Stile's dad asked “I don't know, Lydia's pretty good at finding dead bodies. Maybe he needs to find a body” I said “Scott, you know more about this than all of us” Stiles said as Scott looked at us surprised “me” “you said you got the whole story” “yeah, but it happened during World War II, like 70 years ago” Scott said. “Wait, what did you say” Stiles asked stopping Scott “I heard about the internment camp di-” Scott started “no before that, you said, the whole story” Stiles asked making sure he heard Scott correctly.

“Yeah, what is it” Scott asked as Stiles and I looked at each other “there's a girl at Eichen House, her name's Meredith” I started “I think she might be able to help” Stiles said as Parrish walked in the room. “Sheriff, Meredith Walker” “she's still there” Stile's dad asked the Parrish as he nodded his head and they left the room. “I'm going to go check up with Derek” I said and left Scott and Stiles. I went to Derek's house but didn't see anyone so I decided to check the woods, maybe he was looking for Lydia like everyone else.

Derek

“Anything” Ethan said “no scent, no tracks, nothing” Aiden said as you heard what sounded like a clicking. “Did you hear that” Ethan asked “it sounds like” “a round being chambered” Ethan said as someone started to shoot at Ethan and Aiden as they tried to run. They didn't make it very far though before falling to the ground trying to cover them self. “Wolfs bane” Aiden cried threw the firing as people still fired and Aiden blacked out “Aiden” Ethan called as I quick ran over to them and helped Aiden up trying to make sure I don't get hit as well.

I looked over and saw Star helping Ethan up as well as we quick ran and hid some place.

Stilinki (Stile's Dad)

“Is she still here” I asked the guard as we went threw the hospital “yeah, but they moved her to the Closed Unit” “why” I asked “they said behavioral issues” “what issues” “she wouldn't stop screaming” the guard said looking for his keys. “Sounds pretty quiet now” “we had to send a guy down to sedate her, trust me, this little nut job would not stop screaming” he still trying to find his keys. “But five mils of Haldol take her out like you wouldn't believe” the guard said as he emptied his pockets and saw the door was already opened.

 “What the hell, she got his keys” the guard said as we looked around but couldn't find her.

Coach

I talked on the phone “ten thousand dollars, they pulled an arrow out of my stomach, what did they do fill it up with diamonds” I asked mad. “All right, fine” I said with a sigh “what, okay just send me the bill” I said and hung up the phone “okay, listen up kids, today we're, you know what. Today we're going to discuss the corrupt institution of health care” I said mad “um, Coach” Danny said raising his hand “we have an unexpected guest” he said as we all looked in the corner of the room and saw a girl sitting in a chair looking at the table in front of her.

Scott

Stiles quick sat up from the couch, gasping “hey” I said and jogged over to him “you okay” “what happened, how long was I out” Stiles asked. “Just a couple of hours” I said as Stiles went to get up but stumbled “you should sit down” I said as Stiles sat back down. “Where's my Dad” “he's at Eichen House, questioning everyone, and looking for Meredith, I promised him I wouldn't let you out of my sight” I said to Stiles. “Okay, what about the others” Stiles asked looking up at me. “Allison, Isaac, the Twins, they're all looking for Lydia, Star's upstairs sleeping, she looks as bad as you” I said with a smile.

Stiles smiled “it's starting to feel like we're waiting for a ransom call” “we'll find her” I said as Stiles nodded and we heard footsteps as Star walked down the steps. “Hey how ya feeling” I asked Star “like I was hit by a bus, shot with 20 silver bullets, and died all over again” Star said sitting down next to Stiles. “Are you gyes all right” I asked them as Star lend her head on the back of the couch “yeah, just a cold” Star said “I don't know why, I just can't seem to get warm” Stiles said standing up as Star looked at him concerned. “Maybe you should sit down” I said holding onto his arm and feeling a rush of pain go threw me.

“You're in pain” I said to Stiles as Star sat up and looked at the ground around her. “It's not that bad, just more like a dull ache” Stiles said. “Where” “sort of everywhere” “dude, you're freezing, tell me the truth, how much does it really hurt” I asked Stiles placing a hand on his shoulder. All of a sudden Star ran up to me and pinned me to the wall, knocking over a lamp “don't touch him” she said as her eyes turned red. When she realized what she was doing she let me go and backed away slowly.

“I'm sorry, I didn't know what I was doing” Star said as my phone started to vibrate “it's Kira” I said still watching Star, confused. “Hey, what's up” I asked into the phone “she's here, in Coach's class, and you need to get here now, like, right now” Kira said in a panicky voice as I hung up. “I have to go, are you two going to be okay” I asked Star and Stiles “I'm coming with you” Star said walking up to me as I took a step back, not really meaning too but I did. “Just stay here and watch Stiles for me, please” I said to Star as she sighed but nodded her head okay as I left.

Coach

“Sweetheart, sweetheart, do you want to tell me which insane asylum you escaped from” I asked Meredith “Coach, insane asylum isn't proper terminology anymore” Danny said to me “okay, sweetheart, what nut house did you escape from” “Eichen House”everyone gasped. “Wanna tell me what you're doing so far from there” “trying to help, I can hear them, they scream” Meredith said “that's got to be terrifying. What, uh why do they scream” “they scream when someone's about to die” “are they screaming right now” I asked as she nodded her head “how many of them” “all of them” Meredith said.

I walked out in the hallway “Coach, you can't let them take her back. It's hard to explain, but if you let her go back then really, really bad things are going to happen to Lydia, to Scott and Stiles and maybe everyone, including you, so please, please don't let them take her” a girl ran up to me, stopping me. “Who are you” I asked confused and ignored everything she just said “um I'm Kira, I'm new”. I heard the doors open behind me and looked “oh, hell” “Finstock, Coach Bobby Finstock, this is a delightful surprise” one of the doctors said walking in with a smile.

“Hmm” I said with a fake smile “what is that saying, those who can't do, teach” the doctor said “yeah, that's funny” “is it Professor Finstock when you're off the field, I'm glad to see you made it pro something, Bobby” “it's Coach” I corrected him. “Coach, you know Professors teach college, oh well, you let me know when you make higher education. Now Coach, where's Meredith” the doctor asked “she's fine, she's just sitting in my office”. I opened the door and she wasn't there “find her” the doctor yelled.

Lydia

“They'll find me” I said painting “my friends are going to find me” “you think so, I myself, was kind of wondering what they're doing right now, what useless lead they're chasing. I wonder if maybe some of them have bigger problems to deal with right now, are they really spending every minute looking for you” Sitles's dark side asked? “Or are they waiting for nightfall, focused on some hopeless gesture to pass the time” “what do you want” I asked trying not to look t him. “More” “more what” “the Trickster stories are all about food, Lydia, the Coyote, the Raven, the Fox, they're all hungry, I'm the same. I just crave something a little different, I eat what you feel”.

Stiles dark side stood behind me and whispered in my ear “and I am insatiable”.

Meredith

Voices echo as I poll the piano strings “I can hear you, but I can't understand, just a little louder, please” I whisper. Someone walks in as I hear electric crackling “let's go, sweetheart. As you know, I'm not averse to using the tools of my trade, as often as necessary” one of the doctors said, mad. “I just I need another second okay, they're trying to tell me something” “Meredith” the doctor started “please. They're trying to tell me something” all of a sudden they two doctors went flying and hit the wall, knocking themselves out.

I quick stood up and turned around to see a girl around my age “this school has a very strict no bullying policy, and I intend to keep it that way” the girl said. All of a sudden a boy and girl run into the room and stop when they saw the other girl. “Star what are you doing here” “I came to help” the girl called Star said as the coach ran into the room “wow, who did this” the coach asked as I looked at Star as the coach looked at Star.

“Wow you sure your not on the wrestling team, get her outta here” coach said as I was grabbed and we quick ran out of the school.
