Chapter 15

Star
We all stood around, waiting for someone, anyone to come. Maybe Kira was right, maybe nothing will happen. An alarm going off told me that she wasn't right “they're coming” Chris said. Suddenly a smoke bomb went off “get back” Braeden yelled and we all hid as people started firing at us. From all directions. I looked around and saw someone pointing a gun at Derek. “Derek” I yelled and ran over to him, dogging bullets as I ran.

I grabbed him and pulled him behind a wall “thanks” Derek said catching his breath “no problem” I said and peeked around the wall, firing a few shots. “Just like old times” Derek asked me and I laughed a little “no kidding”. I kept firing “Star listen, we need to talk” Derek said to me “yeah, well right now isn't the best time” I said before leaving his side and kept firing at the guys.

I looked around and noticed a few boxes piled on top of each other. I jumped to the top and sat down, looking at one person at a time before aiming and firing, hitting their heads most of the time. I shot one just as they were about to go after Scott. Scott looked up at me and smiled before turning to Brett “get the others back, tell them to hide” Scott said and Brett nodded before leaving.

“Kira, Kira” Scott yelled as he got shot a few times “Star, where's Kira” Scott yelled to me making me stand up and look around. I couldn't spot her “I don't see” before I could finish someone shot me, making be fall back words and land on a pile of old wood.


Scott
I was hitting one of the guys, hard until I heard a phone go off and stopped, just as everyone else stopped firing. Everyone backed up and disappeared as I reached in and checked the guy's phone to see that it read “all contracts terminated”, I showed it to him as he read it before leaving. Everyone came out of their hiding places and looked around “is it over, really over” Kira asked me? I looked at her, not knowing how to answer.

Everyone looked around, going into a different room. I started to walk away until I looked over and saw Star, sitting against the wall. I walked over to her, leaning on the wall next to her as she stared at the ground in front of her “you okay” I asked her. “No, never was, never will be” Star said still looking at the ground.

“We've changed so much since we were kids” Star looked at me “I mean, you were a normal kid, now you're a werewolf, an alpha. Stiles, well Stiles is still Stiles” Star said making me laugh a little as she looked back at the ground. “Me, I went from a normal person, a little girl who loved a werewolf, to a hunter who forgot it all. Then remembered everything, but died before she knew it all. She comes back to life and is an alpha, finds out about her past, falls in love, then loses it all”.

I listened as she spoke “my whole life, I wanted to be different, I wanted someone to care about me, but when I did, I couldn't keep it”. Star looked up at me “I was trying to find myself, and I did. I'm not suppose to be a hunter, or a normal teenage girl who falls in love with a werewolf. I'm suppose to be strong, I'm suppose to fight, I'm suppose to be the alpha of alphas.

Sorry it's so short but i had to finish this episode. Hopfully I'll get caught up soon with the TV Show. Comment and let me know what you think.
