Chapter 11

Star

“So we have to figure out why our names have a star next to it” I said to Derek as I paced back and forth while Derek sat in a chair backwards. “Well does anyone else have a star” Derek asked “no, just us. At first I was thinking because I'm an Alpha but that doesn't explain you because you're not” I said thinking and sighed. “We need some help” I said and Derek looked at me, knowing who I was talking about.

“Peter” I yelled as Peter walked down the spiral stairs “I'm coming, I'm coming, god, you don't have to yell I can here you perfectly fine” Peter said angry and sat at the bottom of the stairs. “Someone's angry” I said crossing my arms with a smile “and someones annoying but you keep talking” Peter said to me with a fake smile. I smiled and my claws grew “I wouldn't temp me right now” “okay, okay you two” Derek said smiling a little.

I sighed and my claws went back “we need you're help” I said crossing my arms “let me guess, the dead pool” Peter said. “The dead list, Derek and I have a star next to our names and we don't know why” I said. “Well does anyone else have one” Peter asked “nope, just us” I said popping the P. “Well, maybe it's because you two are together” Peter said “no it's not” Derek said “why” “because, Scott and Kira are together and they don't have a star” I said and sighed loudly.

I sat on the couch and laid my head back while silence filled the room “wait, you said that you and Scott were mated right” Peter asked me? “Yeah, but right now I don't know” I said looking up at the ceiling “well maybe you're not” I looked at Peter as did Derek. “What if you and Derek are again, I mean no one else on the list has a mate but you” Peter said to me. I looked at the ground then at Derek “how do we find out” I asked?

“Well there is one way” Peter said and motioned for Derek to come over to him. Derek stood up and stood next to Peter making me look at Peter confused, as did Derek. Peter's claws came out and he cut Derek in the stomach making me quickly stand up as Derek howled. My eyes turned a red then quickly went back to normal. I quickly ran to Derek as he fell on his knees “looks like it worked” Peter said “you really couldn't find another way” I asked mad. Peter smiled at me and walked out as I sighed “I really hate him” I said to Derek “me too” Derek said as my phone went off and I pulled it out of my back pocket. “Hello” I said.

Derek and I pulled up to Deaton's shop were Stiles was. Derek and I walked inside to see Stiles trying to hold a guy. Derek and I quickly ran and over and helped hold this guy down who you could tell was clearly a werewolf. “What the hell is happening to this kid” I asked “he's been poisoned by a rare wolfsbane. I need to make an incision and you need to hold him as still as possible” Deaton said to us. “Hey, Derek, how about a little werewolf strength” Stiles asked Derek as we were struggling to hold him down.

“Yeah, I'm not the only one here with werewolf strength” Derek said as we still couldn't hold him down. “If you can't hold him still, the incision might kill him” Deaton said “you guys, he's slipping. I don't think I can hold him” Stiles said and if right on cue the kid hit all of us, knocking us to the ground. When he was about to run out of the room Peter punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground. Derek and I stood up as we looked at Peter who looked at us with blue eyes.

Peter blinked and his eyes went back to normal “I guess I still have a little werewolf strength myself” Peter said and looked at the ground before looking back at us. “Yeah, maybe more than a little”Derek said and looked down. I saw scratch marks on his arm and looked up at him “hey, Doc, I don't think he's breathing” Stiles said. Deaton bent down and made an incision in his stomach. Yellow puss came out making be turn away for a second as yellow smoke came out of his stomach.

“Is he okay” Stiles asked and I looked at Derek who looked at his scratches that vanished. “Are you okay” I whispered to him, he looked at me and nodded “yeah I'm fine. “I think he'll be fine, but probably out for a while” Deaton said as the kid started to say something. “Guys, can you hear that, I think he's saying something” Stiles said and we listened “the sun, the moon the truth” he kept saying.

Deaton sighed “three things cannot long be hidden, the sun, the moon, and the truth” he looked at Derek who looked at Deaton shocked. “It's Buddhist” Deaton said and Derek looked at Peter who looked at us “Satomi” Peter said. “Who's that” I asked Derek “an old friend” Derek said. “A very old friend” Peter said.

Derek

“What are you doing here” Malia asked me as I stood in the middle of the empty hallways at school “and were is Star and everyone” “busy, Brett's still out of it. I need to find his pack and warn them about the Dead Pool” I said walking towards her “so what do you need me for” Malia asked confused “I know a little something about this pack. They have a kind of secret meeting place in the woods, no one's spent more time in the woods of Beacon Hills than you” I said.

“Star knows as much as I do about the woods, why not ask you're girlfriend” Malia asked? “Because, she'll freak out and she needs to be here right now” I held up a shirt “this is Brett's, breathe it in”. “I'm not good at that yet” Malia said “try it, I'll teach you, focus on the different scents. Some are tied to identity, others give off an emotion” I said and Malia took a deep breath in, smelling it before opening her eyes and nodding.

Star

Stiles and Lydia went to the sheriff's office to see if they could talk to Meredith from Eichen house. No one had seen Liam for awhile so Scott, one of Liam's friends, and I asked couch “sorry, guys, Liam skipped my class. Maybe he's sick, like me” Couch said coughing. “Liam didn't look sick on our run” Mason said to us “he's not getting back to any of my texts” “mine either” I said. “Same” Mason said “don't worry, we'll find him” I told Mason “text me if you see him” Scott told him “all right” Mason said and walked off while Scott and I started to walk away.

“Where could he be” I asked Scott “I don't know” Scott said as his phone went off with Liam's number “it's Liam” Scott said to me and picked up “Liam” Scott said into the phone “sounds like you already know the answer to that, Scott” I heard Garrets voice “have Star walk away or I'll kill someone you care about” I heard Garret say and Scott looked at me. I nodded and walked away, turning the corner but stopped and listened to their conversation.

“Where is he” Scott asked “come on, like I'm actually going to tell you that” “I'll give you the money” Scott said “yeah, you will, but that's not going to get you Liam back. You're going to have to put in a little more effort than that” I heard Garret say, I could tell he was smiling. “What do you want” “I want the money and Violet or you never see Liam again. My eyes went huge, they decided to meet up by the buses and know matter what I was coming. Liam was my brother, well half brother but he was still part of the family, possible my only family left that may be some what normal.

“Okay, what do you want, you want me to go to Stilinski? I can do that or I can talk to my father. He's an FBI agent” Scott said to Garret as I hid behind one of the buses “you think I want you talking to anyone with a badge? I'm not getting help from a werewolf because I want him to talk to someone” “then what am I supposed to do” Scott asked? “They are transferring Violet to a federal facility, you are not gonna let that happen” Garret said.

“How” “they're going to put her in a car, we're going to follow it, we get ahead of it, you stop it” Garret said to Scott. “You want me to attack a car, that's your plan” “you're an Alpha. If you can't stop one little car, then one little Beta is going to die” Garret said mad and brought out a wired knife. “I stabbed your boy with a blade dipped in wolfsbane, once it gets to the heart, bad things happen. I want to know something Scott, how many people are you whiling to get killed, you're dad, mom, maybe I'll just go to someone more, Stiles, Kira, maybe even Star” Garret said
