Chapter 12

Star

Night had rolled around and Scott was sitting in Garrets car, about to take down the police car. I was in wolf form as I staid hidden in the woods, no one knew I was here, luckily I had texted Chris and told him about this but he was going to be late. Garret started the van and started to drive “there's a stop sign half a mile ahead” I heard Garret said. “So I take out the tires with my claws” Scott asked “teeth, claws, heat vision, whatever. Just stop them, you ready” Garret said mad and impatient.

“Stop, stop the car” Scott said and I looked in front of them to see that the car was flipped over. “Dad” I heard Scott yell and run to his dad and Stiles's dad while Garret got out of the car and started towards him. “She's not in the car, Violet's gone” Scott said to Garret but he kept getting closer. “Scott, listen to me, they're still here, they're still here” Stiles's dad said.

I heard a growling noise and quickly changed back to normal and looked over to see berserkers watching Garret. “You want me, come on, come and get me, come and get me. Yeah, that's right, you're not so big, you're not so big” I walked over and punched Garret in the face knocking him out for a second “man you're annoying” I said annoyed “Star” Scott asked surprised to see me? “What you really didn't think I would let you do this alone did you” I said.

Scott have smiled as we heard growling and turned to see two berserkers. My claws came out, as did my fangs and I growled at them as Garret started to get up but one of the berserker's killed him. “Garret” Scott yelled and started to head towards us when he was grabbed and was pushed on the ground by one of the berserker's. I started to fight the other one witch was tricky cause it didn't seem like I could get very far.

“Scott” I yelled but he wasn't getting up as a knife was sticking out of him. All of a sudden the berserkers stopped and started to walk away as I knelt down to Scott “Scott, Scott” I said shaking him. Chris came running over “he's knot waking up” I said “I'll get him in the car, call 911 and meet us at the vets” Chris said to me and I nodded. I pulled out my phone and called 911 as Chris and Scott left.

I ran over to Stiles's dad and Scott's dad “are you okay” I asked Stiles's dad “yeah kid, I'm fine, go help Scott” he said and I nodded. I changed into a wolf and ran off to the vets but not before hearing Stiles's dad “I really need to get a new job”.

Scott

I woke up to see Deaton “hey, there, I was actually hoping you would be out for a few more minutes”. “Scott” I turned to see Chris “this is going to hurt” Chris said and pulled out the knife in my side. I screamed out in pain and quickly stood up “you all right” Chris asked me. “Where's my dad and the Sheriff” I asked and looked around “where's Star” I asked “you're dad and the sheriff are at the hospital” Chris said to me. “Where's Star” I asked but no one answered “where is she”?

“Hey, sorry I'm late” Star said running in “Star” I said with a smile as she smiled at me, happy to see I was okay. She ran over and hugged me as I tensed in pain “sorry” she said and pulled away. “It was Kate, it was her and the Berserkers” I said “we know, but they move fast and they don't leave much in the way of tracks” Chris said. “How did you know where I was” I asked Chris confused on how he was here.

Chris looked at Star, making me look at her as well “what, I wasn't going to let you go threw this and get yourself killed. Besides, if you were to die then there was no one I was taking the blame” Star said making me laugh. “We have to find her, Kate” I said “she's got Violet, I think Violet knows where Liam is” Star said. “Then as much as this hurt, it could probably also help. Can you get a scent” Deaton said holding the knife and I grabbed it and looked at it.

Chris, Scott, and I pulled up to the building were Scott thought Kate and the Berserkers were. Chris got out of the car and looked around “you've been here before” Scott asked “I worked here. We used to own the building, it was part of our business” Chris said “I've fought these things before, we've fought these things. They're strong, really strong, I mean if they can take down an alpha and an alpha of alphas” Scott said.

“That's why I brought this” Chris said and opened the back seat revealing a big gun. I smiled “nice, got another one of those” I asked? “No, just the one, but you can use this” Chris said handing me a smaller gun. I took it and looked at it “really” I asked and Chris nodded. I sighed and out it in my back pocket. “I'm good with that” Scott said smiling as Chris held the gun up.

We walked inside slowly, looking around “you shouldn't have come” we heard Kate's voice but couldn't spot her. “Kate, I'm here for Violet. I need to talk to her” Scott said as we walked around. “I knew you'd find me” Kate said and we saw something walking towards us “but, I was hoping we could do this later” Kate said annoyed. “I just needed a little more time” Kate said and we saw the Berserkers walking next to her.

“Time for what” I asked “to learn control” Kate said “lower the gun, we walk away, and most of you don't have to get hurt” Kate said. “Most of us” Chris asked “you'll live, and so will you Scott, but Star. Now Star's another story” Kate said as we still didn't see her face. “Why” I asked “because you killed her, you killed Allison” Kate said mad “no I didn't” I said. “Where's Violet” Scott asked changing the subject.

“Put the gun down, Chris” Kate said as we finally saw her and the Berserkers got ready “where is she” Scott asked? Chris was about to shoot at them but it bounced off them “no, no, stop! No” Scott yelled as they ran towards us all of a sudden Kate punched Chris hissing at me. “Now you, you're all mine” Kate said as the Berserkers went after Scott and Chris.

“I'm going to have fun with you” Kate said and charged for me but I quickly ran towards her and slid under her. “Kate I didn't do anything” I said to her but she charged for me again. “Kate I'm sorry” I said as Scott was thrown threw a wall making me turn towards him and Chris. “Kate stop this, it's me you want, not them, you want them to get hurt over something I did” I asked?

Kate looked over seeing that one of the Berserkers was about to kill Chris and she yelled “no” and growled making them drop Chris and Scott. Kate looked at me and charged for me again as I quickly kicked her but she grabbed my foot, throwing me over to Chris and Scott. I quickly stood up and roared so loud that the place shook making Kate look at me shocked. “Leave” I yelled at her and she looked at me angry before walking off with the Berserkers.

“Scott, Scott” I heard Chris say as my head hurt a little bit. I quickly ran over to Chris as helped him up as Scott walked over. “man, where did you learn to roar like that” Chris asked me, weak. I smiled “plenty of practice” I said “I'm sorry” Chris said to Scott and I. “I'm not going to find him” Scott said “there's still time, there's still time” Chris said to us. All of a sudden we heard this loud roar making Scott and I turn “Liam” I said.

Scott and I quickly ran off into the woods and found a well. Just as Liam was about to fall back down Scott grabbed his hand, pulling him out of the well. I felt so happy to see him and quickly hugged Liam. I could feel Liam smile and hug me back. I pulled away and Liam looked at us, shaking a bit “you're okay, Liam” Scott said and hugged him “you're okay” Scott said.

Scott sighed with relief as he looked at me and I nodded. We got Liam back to Deaton and he cut him open, seeing the same smoke we say before leave his body. “I don't want to keep watching people die” Scott said to Deaton and I. “I'm not sure we have much choice about that” I said to Scott. “Maybe we do” Scott said and looked at me “that's a lot of burden to carry, Scott” Deaton said.

“I don't care, no one else dies, everyone on that list, everyone on that Dead Pool. It doesn't matter if they're wendigos, or werewolves, or whatever. I'm gonna save everyone” Scott said and looked at the ground. I put a hand on his shoulder “you won't be alone” I said with a smile. I heard a noise outside and left everyone, walking outside and looking around.

I smiled as I saw Derek “what are you doing here” I asked “I heard you found Liam” Derek said and I walked over to him. “Is he okay” “as okay as he's going to get” I said with a sigh. “Are you okay” Derek asked me “shouldn't I be asking you that” I said making Derek smile. “I'm fine” Derek said but I could tell he was lying as I leaned in and kissed him before hugging him.

I felt like something was going to happen, something big. And it wasn't going to end well.
