Chapter 8

Star

“I'm not sharing my basement” Malia said as Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Kira, Malia, and I stood outside by the buss talking. I never told them what I thought about Liam. “Actually, it's my basement and my mom noticed how you tore it up last time” Lydia said talking about her boat house that she was able to use this weekend. “All right, she's still learning” Stiles said “but, we're going to use the boathouse for Liam. It's got support beams, we can chain him to one of them” Scott said.

“But how do we get him out to the lake house if he doesn't trust us” Kira asked “I say if it keeps him from murdering someone we chloroform the little bastard and throw him in the lake” Stiles says acting like he is pushing someone in the water. “I'm in” Malia said raising her hand, a little to excited. “We're not killing or kidnapping him” Scott quickly said.

“Then let's be smarter, we tell him there's a party and invite him” Lydia said “so, you're going to ask out a freshman” I asked. “No, I'm done with teenage boys, but if we're playing a trick on someone, we'll have to use the trickster” Lydia said and looks at Kira. “Who, me, no way, not me” Kira says shaking her head “yes, you, you know what they call a female fox? A vixen” Lydia says “but why me, why not Star, she's the only one here who doesn't have a boyfriend” Kira said.

Everyone was silent “sorry” Kira said to me “no, it's alright” I said with a nod “you can do it, Kira. Be a vixen” Lydia said and Kira looked at us and sighed. Kira went back inside as did Lydia, Malia, and Scott. “Hey, is everything okay” Stiles asked me “yeah” I said but Stiles didn't believe me “it's a long story, I'll see you guys tonight” I said and walked past Stiles and headed to my car.

I put my book bag in the back seat and got in my car, driving off to Derek's place. I don't know why but for some reason I wanted to see him, go talk to him. I let myself in to see Peter sitting shirtless on the table with Derek standing in front of him. “Well, well, well, isn't this a sight” I said as my black boots echoed as they hit the floor. Peter smirked “ha, ha, ha” “the axe was laced with wolfsbane, I don't know the species so I'm going to have to burn it out” Derek said to Peter.

“What happened” I asked and walked over to them “that no mouth creature came and attacked me” Peter said mad. “He was here” I asked “yeah, why” Derek said “well I'm not suppose to say anything but he was there on the roof at the hospital” I said. Derek and Peter looked at me “anyway, I'll be fine, I think I can handle a little fire” Peter said trying to hide the pain. Derek smirked as he polled out a torch “ah, hell” Peter says and I couldn't help but smile as well.

Peter fell to the ground in pain as I took off my jacket and set it on the couch, letting my red tank top show. I crossed my arms with a smirk as Derek helped him up “he said he was after you” Peter said to Derek “how does a guy with no mouth say anything” I asked “with this” Peter said holding up something that raps around you're arm and has a keyboard on it to talk. Derek takes it and looks at it as I looked at Derek “I'll give you two a minuet” Peter says with a nod and leaves the place.

“So why are you here” Derek asks me setting down the keyboard and crossing his arms, looking at me mad or annoyed, it was hard to tell. “What's you're problem” I asked with a smirk and flopped on the couch. “You can't just walk in here with out knocking or calling me first” Derek yelled at me. “I did it last time and you didn't care” I said confused “well now I do” Derek said. “What is you're problem” “you are” Derek yelled and I stood up.

“Okay, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed” I said putting my hands up and rolled my eyes. “Why are you even here, go be with you're Scott” Derek said throwing his arm out and turning his back on me. “Is that what this is about, there is nothing going on with Scott and I” I said mad “oh really so spending every day with him, him and you admitting that you both have feelings for each other” Derek said and turned around to face me.

“Listen, there is nothing between Scott and I, yes we both have feelings for each other but last time I checked, when you found out that Scott and I were mated you didn't care” I said getting mad. “Well now you got him, just like you wanted in the first place” Derek said mad “what do you want from me” I asked confused and mad “you” Derek yelled at me. I looked at him a bit surprised “that's all I ever wanted was you” Derek said with a sigh.

I looked at the ground and looked back at Derek as he seemed ashamed of what he said as he looked at the ground. “I do have feelings for you, more then Scott, I always have, but I'm just not ready yet. There's some things I still have to figure out before I even think of dating you or anyone again” I said with a sigh. Derek nodded “Scott and I are just friends, brother and sister in a way. You and I will always be more then that, just right now I can't be” I said.

Silence surrounded us as I walked over to my jacket and put it on before leaving Derek and heading over to Lydia's Lake house. “I just talked to Kira, she's on her way, she said it's all going fine” Scott said riding up on his bike as Stiles, Lydia, Malia, and I stood by Stiles's jeep. “It's not that, I have to tell you something, I asked around about Liam, I know why he got kicked out of his last school” Stiles said giving Scott and I new news.

“This is going to be bad, isn't it” Scott asked “he kind of got into it with one of his teachers and, the kid's got some serious anger issues” Stiles said pulling out his phone “how serious” I asked “well, that's his teacher's car after he took a crowbar to it” Stiles said showing us a pitcher of a car that was completely pounded in and had something written on it. “This is you're fault”.

“Does it say why he did it” I asked “apparently some teacher told Liam that he was going crazy because he believed that he had a sister that wasn't dead and tried to convince everyone that. If you told him it wasn't true then he got mad, apparently this teacher told him it wasn't true and well, I guess you know what happened” Stiles said. I looked at the pitcher and sighed, what was going on?

“Come on, we should get inside” Scott said and we headed inside just as Kira pulled up with Liam. Liam and Kira walked inside the house, making Liam see us and look back at Kira “sorry” was all she could say “what the hell is this” Liam asked “think of it like an intervention. You have a problem, Liam” Stiles said “and we're the only ones that can help” Scott said. We started telling him about us.

“So, werewolf, werecoyote, banshee, alpha of alpha's, and fox” Liam asked seeing if he got us all correct. “Technically I was a hunter, then alpha of alphas but that's for another time. Liam looked at Stiles “what are you” “uh, for a little while, I was possessed by an evil spirit. It was very evil” “what are you now” Liam asked “better” Stiles said with a sigh. “Are those for me” Liam asked when he saw the chains sitting on the table “no, they're for me” Malia said as her eyes changed color.

“How did you do that” Liam asked scared a little “you'll learn, but first, you need to
get through the full moon” I said. “The moon's already out” Liam said as I heard his heard raising “and you're starting to feel something, aren't you” Scott asked Liam who was getting madder. “I feel like I'm surrounded by a bunch of psychotic nutjobs, you guys are out of your freaking minds” Liam yelled and looked at Malia and I “I don't know how you did that eye thing and I don't care. I'm walking out the door right now, if any of you try to stop me, I swear to God, I'm gonna -” Liam couldn't finish as he held his head in pain.

“What's wrong, Liam” I asked “you don't hear that” Liam asked and polled his hands away from his ears as we heard a car and kids shouting. “Did you tell someone about this” Lydia asked “my friend Mason, you said it was a party” Liam said in pain “who did Mason invite” Lydia asked “everyone” Kira said. Liam's claws came out and he scratched the floor “the floors, get him off the floors” Lydia said and went to walk towards him but Liam quickly looks up with eyes a different color and roared at her, making her back up.

“We need to get him to the boathouse now, Star help me” Scott said as Scott and I grabbed each side of Liam and Kira opened the door and helped us. Scott and I held onto Liam “I got him, get his hands” Scott told me and I went to chain his hands but he threw me, fair and Scott into the wall. I slide and fell in the water. Kira quickly knocked Liam out “Star” Kira said as her and Scott ran over to me as I popped out of the water.

“I hate werewolves” I said with an annoyed face and Scott helped me out “oh God, I didn't kill him, did I” Kira asked? “No, he's out cold, I hope Stiles is having better luck.
He looks so young” Scott said. “If you need me, I'll be drying off” I said mad and left Kira and Scott. I headed to my car, ringing out my shirt as I walked, luckily I always brought a pair of clothes with me.

I opened my trunk and unzipped my bag, polling out a pair of jeans, a black tank top, and a jean jacket. I quickly got dressed and found a pair of boots, putting those on as well. I went to put the bag back in the car but stopped when I saw a few guns sitting there. I sighed and put the bag back in the trunk, closing and locking it. I finished putting my jacket on and heard what sounded like glass braking.

I quickly looked up and saw Kira running towards me “what happen” I asked “Liam broke free and is running in the woods, Scott went after him” Kira said. “Get inside and check on Lydia” I said to Kira and she ran inside. I went to run after Scott but heard another car pull up and side. More kids probable. I walked over to the car as they pulled up with the windows down.

“Hey, get out of here, we're not having anymore people here” I said annoyed “that might be a problem”. A guy stepped out of the car and I froze, in shock in who I saw.

Scott

I ran threw the woods and stopped by a tree, looking side to side for Liam when something ran into my back and tackled me to the ground. “Liam, Liam, wait, stop” I yelled “what did you do to me, this is your fault, it's all your fault! This is your fault: Liam yelled and raised his hand about to scratch me when I heard the sound of an arrow and one hit the tree behind me.

I recognized it and quickly covered my eyes as it exploded and Liam screamed and ran off. I looked up to see Star “Star” I asked confused “not this time” she said with a smile as Chris Argent walked from behind her and over to me. “How did you know” “I got your text, there's a clearing just north of here. All you have to do is corral him there, the rest is taken care of” Chris said.

I nodded “what are you going to do” Scott asked “he's your Beta, Scott, the better question is what are you going to do” Chris said. “He won't listen to me” Scott said “I think I have an idea for him to listen” I said with a smile “come on” I said and Scott and I ran off, hearing Liam screaming. We found him and he stopped but we both new he was still in pain. Scott and I walked over to him “what's happening to me” “the same thing that happened to me” Scott said.

I knelt down in front of Liam as he kept freaking out “Liam, Liam, I know about you're sister” I said making him look at me a little shocked. “What was her name” “Bailey, Bailey Woods” Scott looked at me surprised. “When I was a kid I made up a saying, and I've kept that saying with me since I was a kid. Don't make promises you can't keep! My name isn't just Star, it's Star Woods, also known as Bailey Woods. I'm sister” I said making Liam look at me shocked.

Lydia

Kira walked up the stairs and into my room a room where I was standing looking at a blank wall. “Hey, Lydia are you okay, what do you hear” Kira asked me “the key, the key to break the code” I said and quickly got on my laptop and typed into the password “Allison” and it started to pop up names. “What is this” Kira asked “it's a list of supernaturals in Beacon Hills, it's a dead pool, and we're all on it” I said.

Star

I walked threw the woods and threw a few stones at trees, I walked, thinking of everything. All of a sudden I stopped and looked up to see my mom Shelby “what are you doing here” I asked mad “I heard you found out” “that I have a brother, yeah, just did” I said crossing my arms. “You're father left” “as far as I know you two aren’t my parents, but I just want to know one thing”.

Shelby nodded “is Liam really my brother” I asked and she nodded. I walked up to her “you are not my mother, my mother died a hunter and my dad I never knew and never will. I want you to turn around and leave and never come back, I don't want to ever see or hear from you again” I said getting in her face. “I'm not leaving” Shelby said “I had a feeling you were going to say that” I said with a small smile.

I grabbed her head and tore it from her body “this time stay dead” I said mad and sighed. I turned around to see Derek standing behind me with his hands in his pocket “you saw that” I asked and Derek nodded. I looked at the ground and then looked back up at Derek “I'm so confused, I just found out I have a brother, my mom is dead, hopefully for good, and I still have feelings for you” I said.

Derek was silent “at least I can help one of those things” I said with a small smile making Derek look at me a little confused. I ran up to him and kissed him making him pull his hands out of his pocket and hold my waist as I pulled away. “I keep telling myself that I'm confused, but I'm not confused about my feelings for you. I want to be with you Derek” I said with a smile as I rapped my arms around his neck.

Derek smiled “I guess I didn't have to wait that long for you” I giggled “I love you Star Woods” Derek said with a smile. “I love you Derek Hale” I said and kissed Derek.
