Chapter 1

Stiles

Lydia and I sat at a table with Araya in front of us in Mexico "we're here for Derek Hale" Lydia said. Araya smiled "is that so" "we know you have him, we've heard you can be bought" Lydia said as I laid out some money "it's 50,000 for Derek" I said. "Now, where does a teenage boy get money like this, Japanese mafia" Araya asked as some people behind her cocked their guns.

"Not smart to come alone" Araya said "what makes you think we came alone" I asked as she looked at me and quickly stood up. "You brought a wolf into my home" "we brought an Alpha" I said with a smile.

Scott

Malia and Kira took some guards down and we made out way into a hallway all of a sudden we heard this blowing noise and saw smoke coming towards us. All of a sudden it started to blow out of the vents and onto is "wolfsbane, it's wolfsbane" I yelled as Malia and I duct "Kira... Kira, get out of here" I yelled and saw her get knocked out. "Someone who has been an Alpha only a few months should be more careful when facing a hunter of 40 years" Araya said walking over to me.

"All we want is Derek" I said painting "my, my, my, you're a long way from home" Araya said with a smile as she started to become blurry. "You don't know where he is either" I said and her smile vanished as one of the guards shocked me with electric gun and I blacked out. My eyes flew open "he's awake, guys he's awake" Kira said "Scott, you okay" Stiles asked me.

"Yeah" I said and sat up seeing we were in a bathroom. "They don't have him, they don't have Derek" I said "we know, but right now, they've got Lydia" Stiles said "Lydia, what do they want with Lydia" I asked but everyone was silent, not knowing. I quickly stood up and went to the door trying to open it but couldn't "we already looked for a way out, I think a lot of people have" Kira said to me.

"I say when that door opens again, we take out whoever's standing in the way and run for it" Malia said. "What about Lydia" Kira asked Malia "what about her" "we're not leaving without her" I said like it was obvious. "Why not" Malia asked as Stiles walked over to her "because we don't leave without people. Remember, we talked about this, rules of the wild kingdom don't apply to friends" Stiles said.

"Is that what you would do as a coyote, leave her for dead" Kira asked Malia "if she was weak and injured, yeah. If hunting had been bad that season, I would eat her, then I'd leave" Malia said like it was nothing. "Mmm, believe it or not that's progress" Stiles said "all right, guys, we're not dead yet, and that means Araya wants something" I said. "But if the Calaveras don't know where Derek is, that means they didn't take him from the loft. Right" Kira asked?

"Maybe he left on his own" Stiles said and I thought for a second "maybe someone else got to him" I said. All of a sudden the door opened and we all turned around to see three guys standing there. One had an electric gun. They went to walk in till there was a gun shot and on guy was shot in the head making him fall to the ground dead. The other two guys turned around.

Someone flew into the room fast and killed the two guys, throwing them across the room. The girl looked up and smiled "sorry I'm late, had to take care of some family issues" Star said with a smile. She looked like a hunter again with her boot, jeans, black jacket, and tank top underneath. I smiled until I saw one guy move and grab his gun "Star" look out I yelled as the guy zapped her knocking her out and he did the same to me.

I opened my eyes to see that I was strapped to a metal chair and looked next to me to see that Star was to. Both of out jackets were gone. "Star" I said and she opened her eyes shaking her head "are you okay" I asked Star. She looked at me "yah, so much for rescuing you guys" Star said as we both looked around.

The door opened and a man was holding Lydia "oh, God" Lydia whispered and they tied her to a metal chair on the other side of me. "Let them go, look... you've got me, just let them others go" I said to Araya. All of a sudden another man walks into the room caring Kira. "So, let me explain what's about to happen, this one, the fox, has an immunity to electricity. So she's going to turn the dial on the Alpha, if she doesn't, I turn the dial on the Banshee" Araya said. "No, I'm not doing this" Kira said "are you sure, one of your friends has the power to heal. The other, not so much" Araya said to Kira.

"What about me, why am I here" Star asked "because I want to see if the rumors are true. The the famous Deucalion's daughter truly can turn into a real wolf "sorry, I'm not schedule to turn today" Star said. Araya smiled "but I know something that will" Araya leaned into Star "I know you and Scott's little secret, lets just see if it's real" Araya said with a smile.

"What are you doing, is this a game to you" I asked mad "this is a test, let's see if you pass. We're going to ask some questions, you answer them, nobody gets hurt, but if you don't answer, we turn on the dial" Araya says. "Do what they say, okay" I said looking at Kira "whatever they want, I can take it". "So, we don't know where Derek is, we want to find him as well. You know who took him" Araya said pointing to me "what, how would I know that" I asked confused?

"That doesn't sound like an answer to me" Araya said "we don't know, why do you think we came here" Lydia said. "Kira, turn the dial" Araya said to Kira as she shook her head no "should we turn the dial on Lydia instead" the man said "no, no" "do it, Kira, do it" I said to her. "Let's start at one" Araya said and you could hear the electricity crackling as it shocked me and I tensed in pain.

"Stop, stop" Star yelled as she tried to brake free but couldn't "tell me who actually has Derek? Who had a reason, a vendetta particular to the Hales" Araya yelled at me as it stopped "I said I don't know" I said painting "oh, you don't know because you haven't figured it out yet. So think, who could've taken him" the man pointed to the dial for Kira to turn up "it's okay" she turned it up.

Star

I tried my best to get out of ropes but couldn't "who had the power, the power of a shapeshifter, someone who could have turned without you knowing. Turned, but not by a bite" Araya said and I thought. Me. "Stop, stop, I know who" I yelled and the stopped with Scott. Araya looked at me "who" she asked mad. I looked at the ground and then at her as my eyes turned red "me" I said, my voice darker.

I quickly broke out of the chair and transformed into a wolf growling at Araya "so it is true. I see so is you're little secret" Araya said with a smile "Star look out" I heard Scott yelled as I felt a knife go threw my side and someone threw me to the wall, hitting it hard. I transformed back into a human as I laid on the floor, holding my side in pain.

"Now who" Araya asked Scott "I don't know" Scott said and Araya crancked it up all the way making Scott scream. Scott roared making my eyes turn red as Scott busted out of the chair and looked at the ground painting "say the name, Scott" Araya said and Scott looked up at her "Kate" Scott said.
