Chapter 11

Star

I get up the next morning and get ready to go, I decided to just drive there so I packed a small bag. I put on some dark jeans, my hair up, a black shirt on, and my leather jacket. I opened my closet in the hallway and grabbed some knives and a few gun. I loaded one and aimed it at a dish that was sitting in the kitchen.

I polled the trigger and hit it right in the middle, shattering it “hm still works like a charm” I said and put it in my bag. I felt like myself again, I felt like a hunter. I locked my door behind me and got in my car driving off to Mystic Falls. It took me a while but I finally got to the town I once called my home.

I parked my car by the woods and did a few practice shots on a tree and threw a few knives. I was still good. I got back in my car and drove to the Salvatore's house polling up shortly after. I took a deep breath as I looked at the house and got out holding a gun close to me and put a knife in my boot. I listened to see if I could hear anything but didn't.

I opened the door and looked around to see Damon drinking something next to the fire place. I quickly hid in the hallway knowing he heard the door open and that he was looking over to the door. I heard footsteps and when I thought he was in the right spot I quickly came out and shot him in the leg, putting him to the ground.

“Aaaww” he said falling to his knees as I walked up to him “Star” he asked surprised to see me. I shot him again in the shoulder and one time in the stomach, kicking him and pushing him to the floor. “You forgot something when you came to visit me” I said and brought out my knife “I'm still a hunter” I said and acted like I was going to hit him with it but instead I just missed him and slammed it in the ground next to his face.

“Now stay away from me” I said hissing at him and stood up, grabbing the knife as I did and looked down at him mad. I walked out of the house slamming the door behind me. I stopped and took a deep breath and got back in my car. I should have done that when Klaus ordered me to kill Damon then I wouldn't have had to worry about any of this.

I kept driving until I looked towards the woods and thought I saw Klaus standing at the edge of the woods. I quickly slammed on the brakes and got out of my car and looked around, nothing, no one was there. I knew Klaus way to well and slammed my car door shut with a loud sigh. I walked around my car and into the woods, deeper and deeper in them.

I finally stopped and looked around “Klaus I know your out there” I said and heard a noise behind me and turned around. Klaus was standing there with a small smile “I see it wasn't that hard” Klaus said and I sighed. “Klaus why are you here, I told you to stay away” I asked annoyed and looked at the ground “to give you an offer, all I ask is one small favor in return” Klaus said making me look at him.

“And what is that” I asked “I want your confession” Klaus said with a smile “my confession, okay fine, yes I have killed humans and vampires before and one more just might be on my list” I said mad. “Wrong confession” “then what” I asked confused but with a smile “me” I looked at Klaus confused. “As soon as we're done here, and you give me a certain answer I will walk away and never come back. You'll never again have to fake you're feelings for me or feel angry when you see me anymore. You'll never have to hide away the dark part of your feelings for me after all that I have done”.

I listened to Klaus “I will be gone, and you will be free, free to live your life the way you want. I just want you to be honest with me and tell me that all these years that have past, everything you have said and done meant something or nothing to you” Klaus said. “Your right I do hide my dark feelings for you and yes after everything you've done I did still hide those away and look at a different pitcher. If you promise to walk away, to never try and find me again then yes, I will be honest with” I yelled.

“I will be honest with you, about what I want” I said with a sigh. Klaus's nodded “I will walk away and never come back unless you ask me to stay, I promise” Klaus said with a small smile at the end. I looked at Klaus as he looked at me and took a few steps closer looking at his lips while I did.

I looked into Klaus's eyes “good” I said and kissed Klaus as he kissed me back. I polled away and looked at him as a huge smile came on his face making me smile as he pinned me to a tree and kissed me some more.
