history repeats itself

Morning came, and Wooyoung hasn't finished his movie marathon. He has been watching romantic movies since yesterday, and yet he still cannot grasp the concept of genuineness. Is it him problem? The black-haired man exhaled, realizing that there's only one left film for him to watch.

"Ah, shit. I'm so sleepy." Wooyoung stated, turning off his laptop. It was Saturday, and they weren't given any homework, so he decided to watch some movies last night.

The man placed his laptop by his bed table and turned off his AC but turned on his electric fan. He, then, plopped on his bed and tucked himself to bed.

On the living room, Minseo wonders why Wooyoung is still not leaving his room. At this time, his son would have been running around the perimeter of their house.

"Good morning, baby. Where's Youngie?" Jaeha— Wooyoung's father, asked. The man sat beside Minseo and helped her in crocheting.

The woman sighed, "He hadn't left his room. Maybe still asleep." She responded, not sparing a glance at her husband.

Jaeha felt worried, this is an unusual occurrence for him and his wife. He went upstairs to check on his son. As he reached Wooyoung's room door, Jaeha slowly twisted the door knob. It revealed him a man covered in blanket, electric fan set to number 3, and a still closed window.

The man sighed in relief and slowly closed the door. Jaeha feels guilty as he never had any chance to spend time with his wife and son, but couldn't afford leaving work. Although he wanted to, he cannot. He has been aiming to get promoted to provide better for his family.

San and his parents went out to eat. They went on the closest restaurant. Currently, they are in a Chinese-based restaurant and is owned by a close friend of his mother.

"The food here is amazing." Says San and munches the Xiao Long Bao in his mouth.

His parents found this cute, which made his mother laugh. "I know right? I love the Xiao Long Bao here," Haerin smiled, earning a nod from Junhee who is beside her.

Junhee watches Haerin and San laugh and talk about the Chinese food they want to taste more. Their conversation went from Chinese foods to Thai foods, and their wish to taste it.

He never regretted that he is absent today and yesterday. His wife and son are the most precious things in his life and he would trade his life for it.

After reminiscing, he joined the conversation and suggested places where to eat the foods that Haerin and San want to eat.

Wooyoung woke up, feeling nauseous and weak. He slowly got up, turning off the electric fan, and went downstairs. There was no one in the living room. No sign of his parents.

"Fuck. I should've not done that shit." Wooyoung hissed due to tingling sensation in his head. He feels like he is gonna fall.

Wooyoung slowly walked to the couch, holding by the near solid objects to support his weight. He, then, sat and rested his head.

As he was about to fell asleep again, his phone ringed. It was a message from San. Last time, they exchanged numbers so they could keep in touch.

Choi San

Hi! How are you? Today, we ate on a Chinese-based restaurant. It's so cool! The interior is amazing, and their food is so good! Let's eat here sometimes. My treat! <3

Wooyoung's head is still aching but he managed to read and type for San. The light from his phone was blinding him, it was so hard to look at it. He turned off his phone and did some breathing exercises. He wanted the head ache to go away, it's killing him.

In the midst of breathing exercises, his phone suddenly ringed again. He was excited to open it, but only to met with Jongho's message.

"What the hell?" Wooyoung cussed, reading Jongho's message to him.

Wooyoung curled his hand to fists when Jongho didn't reply. He knew that his friend is serious when he never replies. The young man sat there defeated, and continued his breathing exercises. He just hopes that Jongho is joking.

Minutes later, the young Jung heard a knock from their door. Completely forgotten his and Jongho's conversation, he slowly stood up and had to hold on the walls for support.

"Wait!" Wooyoung yelled, the head ache intensified as he walked and spoke. He grunted in pain was heard by the man on the other side.

The young Jung opened the door and was shocked to see the peron he least expected to see. It was none other than Choi San. San was holding three bags of grocery. It seemed that the man will be cooking for him.

"Oh my goodness! I thought you were doing well?!" San asked, gently holding Wooyoung to assist him.

The latter hold tightly to San's arm, "How did you know my place?" Wooyoung questioned, his head tingling in every word he says.

"Jongho told me you were not okay, and he asked me to go here. After receiving his message, I quickly went to grocery so I can cook for you." San explained, walking inside the Jung's house. The younger held tightly and walked in the same slow pace that San had.

The elder assisted the younger to sit on the couch. As Wooyoung was seated, San dashed to the kitchen and began to look for things that he will be needing.

"Take a rest, Woo!" San yelled, taking out the ingredients from the plastic bags. Wooyoung, on the other hand, sighed.

San fetched the cupboard and started slicing apples. He planned on making a salad, chicken soup, and boiled eggs. It's a food that his mother makes for him whenever he is sick.

The elder also bought tons of paracetamol so he wouldn't be running back and forth to the store.

Wooyoung doesn't know, is he sick? Is this flu? fever? What was he experiencing? All his life, never had he been ever sick so bad. When he was a little boy, he would shrug off the chills of his body and would let it pass for a week. But right now, he feels completely weak.

Was it because of a certain person? or a fever?

Wooyoung's body felt cold, he was curled in his position and his body is starting to burn up. Now that is fever.

"San, I'm so cold. Can you turn off the AC?" Wooyoung weakly called, but he was heard by San. The elder immediately went to check the younger, and noticed that he was curled like a ball.

San reached for the man's forehead, and he felt a slight burn in his hand.

"You have a fever, Woo. Let me get you some blankets. Where are they?" San asked slowly, so that he could be heard by the other.

Wooyoung looked at the stairs direction and pointed, "Up. First room from the right." Wooyoung murmured, returning from being curled into a ball.

San nodded and went upstairs to find blankets, he, then grabbed the comforter from Wooyoung's bed and snatched a sweatshirt from the cabinet.

Running downstairs, San saw how Wooyoung was eagerly wanting to curl even more as he felt colder. The fan was already off, and it was hot outside too.

San tried to put the sweatshirt on Wooyoung to which the latter helped to wear it. Then, the elder covered Wooyoung with a comforter.

"Thank you, Sannie." Wooyoung uttered, which made San surprise as he heard the nickname.

He smiled, "Welcome, Woo. Sleep now." He replied, and walked back to the kitchen.
