arriving their usual table at the cafeteria where his friends were already gathered and he was the last one to arrive, jaemin slammed his palms down the tabe and grabbed everybody's attention. ❝yangyang has a sugar daddy and no one even bothered to tell me?❞

the mentioned male had his face reddened at how his friend said it a little bit too loud that even the nearby students had heard it. ❝god, jaemin, can't a day pass by without you exposing me?❞

right, because yesterday, jaemin almost announced it in the whole campus that he almost shaved his head.

chuckling at the two, jeno took hold of jaemin's hand and pulled him down to the space right next to him. ❝it's just yang's boyfriend, nana.❞

❝but i just saw him being brought here with that expensive—❞

❝hendery was promoted just not too long ago.❞ yangyang said, cutting the dramatic boy off. ❝his family owns the company, of course he had to take over it one way or another.❞

jaemin squinted his eyes, finding it confusing. ❝it's just hendery? but hendery walks you to school though, not take you with that expensive ass of a car he owns.❞

sighing, renjun took a chicken nugget from his tray and shoved it to jaemin's mouth to shut the younger up from talking. ❝didn't you read his messages? he informed us all that he's probably going to be late.❞

because he overslept, ❝thus making hendery drive me here to avoid tardiness.❞ yangyang explained.

his boyfriend being so rich is actually one of the many reasons why yangyang is hesitating in this relationship. if it weren't of his boyfriend's parents being so supportive of them then he wouldn't have lasted long with hendery. although, he still sometimes feel like hendery is too good for him and that his boyfriend deserves someone better. someone who's actually at the same league as him.

and not just a normal student being spoiled by him.

his boyfriend is just a year older but he already had the privilege to be ceo and get it easy in life. meanwhile, yangyang still had to bear his last year in college before he gets out of this hell.

both jeno and renjun eyed jaemin, with jeno have his tongue poking inside his cheek and threatening the younger with that look of his and renjun stabbing the chicken nugget in thought of it as jaemin.

blinking, jaemin gulped at how the two were acting. it took him a second to laugh nervously and take back what he said.

❝h-he probably is just s-sugar.❞ jaemin said, looking at yangyang and asking help with his eyes.

rolling his own eyes, yangyang decided to ignore him. it's what he deserves for always exposing him. ❝someone is going to get angry sex from his boyfriends.❞

jaemin was about to throw whatever he could grab to the one who's just calm watching his friend getting in trouble, but jeno had gripped on to jaemin's thigh that made the younger bit his lower lip and stayed obedient in his spot.

seeing that made yangyang laugh but his laughter didn't last long as he remembered what got him thinking all night and lost sleep because of it.

tearing his glaring eyes on jaemin, renjun turned to yangyang with a frown. ❝is there something bothering you?❞

❝it's—❞ the male can't even say that it's nothing, his friends would just easily see through his lie. ❝hendery is getting a new secretary.❞

both jaemin and jeno snapped their heads towards the uneasy male after having a staring contest with neither of them wanting to look away. jeno then spoke, ❝didn't you reserve that spot already?❞

puffing his cheeks, yangyang groaned. ❝that's the point!❞ he was upset when his boyfriend brought up that news. ❝but he told me that i should just focus in my last year rather than working for him.❞

❝what a waste,❞ jaemin stole a chicken nugget from renjun and munched on it before he continued. ❝you two could have lived the ceo and secretary fanfiction life.❞

threatening to throw his tray at jaemin, yangyang composed himself quickly. ❝i'm working for him not just because of the sole reason of me wanting to be with him always.❞ he mumbled, not wanting for everyone to get the wrong idea about his purpose. ❝i want to work to have money and have a proper life. since i have connections with him, might as well seize the opportunity.❞

but that didn't mean that he was taking advantage of his boyfriend and just using him.

for everyone to be aware, he loves his boyfriend as much as his boyfriend also loves him.

❝hendery just didn't want to stress you out, yang.❞ renjun said, trying to comfort the youngest of them. ❝you should know that he worries so much when it comes to you. you just have to understand him and everything he does is only for your own good.❞

that's what hendery also told him last night. still upset about the situation, yangyang dropped his head down to the table and whined. ❝i just hope the secretary is not a slutty one.❞

because he had encountered so many people that had already tried to get his man.
