Breezepaw and Glowkit were playing mossball with Firekit. Lionclaw was still limping, but he was determined to act like he was fine.

"Should we take him back to JungleClan with us?" Fallenpaw whispered to Breezepaw, padding over to her after a while.

"That could be a good idea, actually. Didn't they say they were looking for StormClan?" Breezepaw whispered back. Fallenpaw nodded just as Tigereye padded out of the den she'd entered with a rabbit covered in the blood of another animal.

"Is that mouseblood Tigereye?" Glowkit asked her, bouncing up to her mother. Tigereye nodded.

"Fallenpaw! Breezepaw! Quick!" Sorrelpaw's voice startled Fallenpaw. Breezepaw glanced at him with an alarmed look.

"We'll be back!" Breezepaw announced as Fallenpaw, Sorrelpaw and her took off. Yowls stung Fallenpaw's ears.

"Dapplestar! Please! I just wanted you to help me get this burr out of my pelt!" Scorchpaw's voice hit Fallenpaw's twitching ears.

"You insulted my mate!" Dapplestar roared. Breezepaw whipped past Fallenpaw, the tom on her heels. A strange black and white tom was growling at Scorchpaw, who was pinned by Dapplestar.

"Get off him!" Sorrelpaw and Breezepaw screamed at Dapplestar, flinging their small bodies at the sturdy leader. Dapplestar snapped around, forcing the apprentices back with her paws. Scorchpaw leapt up, scrambling away.

"Who's the tom?" Breezepaw spat.

"That's my new mate, Alex. And no, he's not a kittypet. We're going to raise a family together!" Dapplestar gushed. Fallenpaw's eyes narrowed as he glanced at Alex.

"Yeah. I hope you don't mind going leaderless." Alex sneered. Breezepaw gasped, nearly tripping over her paws as she backed away. Fallenpaw wrapped his tail over her shoulders as she backed into him. Sorrelpaw was tearing up, Fallenpaw noticed. Scorchpaw and Frogpaw were comforting their sisters who were both shocked and angry at Dapplestar.

How could she do this to us? Fallenpaw thought. He flicked his tail and motioned for the other to follow him.

"Glowkit, Shadowkit, Firekit, Tigereye and Lionclaw, these are Sorrelpaw, Scorchpaw, Leafpaw and Frogpaw." Breezepaw and Fallenpaw told the cats. Sorrelpaw was still miserable and she was leaning on Frogpaw for support.

"Fallenpaw, I need some rest. I know you're trying to make us all friends but I'm tired." Leafpaw snapped at her brother. Fallenpaw made a face before beginning to announce his plan.

"Alright.. What do we tell Dapple?" Frogpaw asked after a while. Fallenpaw looked down at his paws before looking back up at his brother.

"I don't know." He replied, looking over at the sleeping forms of Glowkit, Firekit and Shadowkit. Tigereye and Lionclaw were curled up together beside them. A taillength from them was Sorrelpaw, sleeping with her head rested on Frogpaw's back. The tom looked older now, as if he was a young warrior.
Leafpaw and Scorchpaw were curled up with their backs pressed against one another, and Breezepaw was sleeping peacefully on Fallenpaw's shoulders. Fallenpaw and Frogpaw were laying across from each other, talking.

"We'll just thank her for everything she's done for us and go, I guess." Fallenpaw meowed. Frogpaw nodded before looking away.

"Sorrelpaw's been pretty upset lately. Ever since Dapple's first episode, she's far from herself. Depressed, maybe." Frogpaw told his brother after a while. Fallenpaw nodded.

"Guess it's been hard on them, I mean, she's their only family. Blazingfur's not even there. He's always in the medicine den and whenever he's not he's either crying or crazy. Not the best life for Breezepaw and them," Fallenpaw replied, glancing at the she-cat. Frogpaw yawned before cracking a smile.

"Wanna play guess the warrior name like we used to? I mean, by the time we'd get back it'd be almost time for our warrior evaluation.." Fallenpaw smiled back, an idea popping into his mind.

"What if we do it for everyone here? Breezepaw, Sorrelpaw, Scorchpaw, Leafpaw, you and me?" He suggested, licking a stray bit of spotted fur on his chest back into place. Frogpaw nodded, shuffling around a bit to get comfortable.

"Okay, for Scorchpaw... Something to do with his timid personality." Frogpaw meowed. Fallenpaw felt blank for a moment and then responded.

"Scorchwing or Scorchleaf. Something gentle like a wing or a leaf, maybe Scorchtuft." Fallenpaw watched his brother nod before he gave his brother a task. "For Leafpaw, some kind of plant or tree."

"Leafstem or Leafpetal." Frogpaw mewed almost immediately. Frogpaw shrugged and then waited for his turn.

"For Sorrelpaw, something that represents her." Fallenpaw nodded.

I would say Sorreldream, but I don't feel like that has meaning to me anymore. I came up with that for her all those moons ago when we were just kits.. A wonder I remembered it even, Fallenpaw thought to himself before shaking his head and replying to his waiting kin.

"Sorrelspirit or Sorrelscratch. Maybe Sorrelbreeze or Sorrelspring." Fallenpaw sighed, a twinge of guilt pricking at hin. I thought we'd be mates at one point. I guess I was wrong, and I owe it to Breezepaw to prove to her that Sorrelpaw will always be Frogpaw's when we all become warriors.

A month or two in the making XD this middle part is really tought to write cause I want to put Breezey's actual backstory but this is a different Breezepaw and... GAH.

Anyways, I think Breezepaw's theme song was (when she was a kit) 'Eet' by... Uhhhh... By.... Regina something... *NAILED IT*

I'mna make this book pick up the pace soon because this slowness (I'm trying to make it longer than six chapters) is driving me crazy ;~;

Anywaysssss... Maybe I can get some more chapters out before Halloween? XDD
