RM (Arshi's Bedroom) :

"Is everything ready? Okay, I will get there within half an hour, and what about Garima Gupta? Alright!" Arnav dashed out of Shantivan with Aman, leaving a baffled family behind.

"Where have these two gone?" Aditya Raizada asked his mother, perplexed. She shrugged, clearly unaware.

"I am scared, Mom," Ratna said worriedly. Dadi looked at her bahu in confusion.

"The way Chote is getting entangled in all of this, the way he's handling things, I'm scared he might do something wrong. You all know Khushi isn't just his love anymore-she's his obsession. If we don't stop this soon, then-"

"Bahu! Nothing will happen. Don't you know your Chote? Whatever he does, he does after deep thought. He won't do anything you fear," her mother-in-law reassured, stroking her hair.

"Even then, why doesn't he leave everything to the police? As far as I know, the police already have some leads."

"Enough, Ratna! Have you forgotten what those people tried to do to Khushi? Even after knowing everything, you're still saying this? Didn't you see Chote's pain when he found Khushi in that hellhole? And you want him to leave everything to the police? If it had been Anjali instead of Khushi, would you have said the same thing? Would you still ask Chote to forgive her culprits without giving them punishment? Just because it's Khushi, how can you be so selfish? I'm disappointed in you, Ratna. I didn't expect this."

"Adit! Stop it. Bahu is just worried about Chote. It's natural to think this way. That doesn't mean you should speak to her like that," his mother scolded him after seeing Ratna's tears. Aditya looked away, guilt creeping in.

"I... I didn't mean it, Aditya. I'm worried about both of them. I'm scared for Khushi too. If those women learn that Chote tricked them for Khushi, they might become even more vengeful. That's why I said let the police handle it."

She ran off, sobbing. It was the first time her husband had misunderstood her. How could he think she'd differentiate between Khushi and Anju? They were both her children.

Aditya felt guilty for misinterpreting her words. He glanced at his mother, who was glaring at him.

"Go and pacify her. You're too much sometimes. Just because your name starts with the same initial as Chote doesn't mean you need to act like him. Remember, there's only one ASR," she added with a small giggle.

He glared at her and walked off to find his wife. Shubadra Devi shook her head. Her son rarely got angry, but when he did, only Arnav could calm him. And since Arnav was unavailable, she had to lighten the mood by teasing him.

Outskirts of Delhi (Under-Construction Building):

Someone was screaming with all his might.

"KOI HAI? HELLO!!! IS THERE ANYONE HERE? WHO ARE YOU? WHY HAVE YOU BROUGHT ME HERE? SAY SOMETHING! WHY?! IF YOU HAVE COURAGE, THEN SHOW YOURSELF! UNTIE ME, YOU ASSHOLES!"

He struggled desperately against the ropes.

"Arey... arey! You seem eager to meet us. What a surprise! We were dying to meet you too, Mr. Shyam Manohar Jha."

A cold voice reached his ears, sending a shiver down his spine.

"Who's there?" he called again, panic in his voice.

"Hold your horses, Shyam Jha. Vicky, untie him."

Vicky obeyed instantly. Shyam blinked, trying to adjust his vision, and was startled to see a well-built man in front of him.

"Wh-who are you? Why have you brought me here?" he stammered.

"Hello, Mr. Jha! Nice to meet you. This is ASR! Oh, how would you shake hands when you're tied up? Awww... How do you feel here? Comfortable, I hope? Sorry, there's no food. We're a bit far from town. But I know you can handle hunger for a while."

Arnav's sarcastic tone scared Shyam even more. He'd heard stories-ASR was the devil himself. And now, he was standing before him.

"ASR! Why have you kidnapped me? What did I do to you? Please leave me!"

"Nothing much, Shyam. You just tried to take my life away. You and your criminal partner even planned to smuggle her to Thailand. Such a minor mistake, right? So now, I'll take your life for that tiny mistake."

Shyam began trembling.

"Please! I didn't do anything! I didn't even touch her! It was Garima. She came to me with a proposal-she said if I gave her twenty lakhs, she'd sell Khushi to me, but I'd have to take her away and get rid of her. That's all I-"

Before he could finish, Arnav landed a solid blow on his face. He thrashed him black and blue.

"Arnie! Arnie! Stop!" Aman and Vicky barely managed to pull him away.

"Leave me, Ammy! I'll kill him! How dare he? Had she not left the house and met with that accident... I would've lost her forever!" Arnav shivered at the thought, his eyes blurred.

Aman hugged him tightly, trying to calm him down.

"Don't do anything that could take Khushi bhabi away from you again. If you kill him, the police will arrest you. Is that what you want?"

Arnav quieted down a bit.

"Vicky, you invited them but didn't serve food? What kind of hospitality is this? Come on, feed our guest."

He walked off with Aman, feeling slightly better hearing Shyam's blood-curdling screams.

"What guests? And why is Shyam screaming like that?"

"Oh, nothing. I just asked Vicky to serve food to some of our cannibal insect guests. That's it."

Aman stared at him, horrified.

Gupta House:

Khushi arrived with her father and Buaji. Shashi went to the market, asking them to go inside.

"Go to your room and rest, bitiya. I'll bring your special coffee," Buaji said.

"No, Buaji. I'm coming with you," Khushi insisted and followed her to the kitchen.

Buaji didn't object. She also wanted to talk to her niece before Garima arrived.

As Khushi stirred coffee, Buaji began softly, "Bitiya, umm... everything is alright at Arnav bitwa's house, right? No one blamed you for what Sheetal did?"

Khushi nodded with a small smile. "No, Buaji. Everyone was so good that I wonder whether such people exist nowadays. And you know what? I got the most precious thing in my life there."

"Ma," she whispered. Buaji's smile faltered.

She understood everything in that one word. Khushi could never be happy anywhere else. Her decision to talk was now firm.

"And what about his dadi, father, and sister? And Arnav babua?"

"They're all wonderful. Ma, papaji, dadi-and don't ask about Anjali. She's so adorable, just like the sister I always wanted. She calls me bhabi-darling and teases me so much-" Khushi stopped, shy.

"About what? And you skipped Arnav babua. Wasn't he good to you? Wait, I'll beat him with my rolling pin!"

"No... no, Buaji! A husband like Arnavji is every girl's dream. I'm lucky to have him."

"Achcha! Then I'm relieved. Now I can die peacefully."

"Don't talk like that, Buaji! I can't bear the thought of losing you or Babuji," Khushi said emotionally.

"Alright, alright. May you both always be happy. Now let me cook for babua too."

But Khushi's face turned pale. Would she really get to live happily ever after with Arnav? What if Sheetal came back?

Buaji noticed and spoke gently, "I know what you're thinking. You're afraid Sheetal will return, right?"

Khushi nodded, tears welling.

"Don't think that way. Sheetal ran away from her wedding. Now, everything belongs to you-this house, this family, Arnav babua. You said they love you, right? Will you let it all go for Sheetal?"

Khushi stared at her Buaji, lost.

"After so much pain, you finally got a loving husband and family. Don't let that get destroyed because of them. Focus on your life and leave the rest to Devi Maiya."

Khushi absorbed her words.

"Buaji is right. Why am I so scared? I didn't steal anything from Sheetal. She left Arnav for her career. I'll fight if I must. I'll never mention leaving him again. He promised me I'm his wife-and always will be."

Buaji touched her shoulder gently.

"Did you understand what I said?"

Khushi nodded first slowly, then with conviction. "You're absolutely right, Buaji. I'll never let fear control me. I'll fight for what's mine."

Buaji hugged her tightly, overwhelmed.

Their moment was broken by Garima's bitter voice. "Oh, you're already here."

"Yes. Why so surprised?" Khushi shot back.

"Khushi bitiya, go take some rest. Arnav babua will be here soon," Buaji said.

Garima's eyes widened. "Arnav Bitwa will also come?"

Buaji and Khushi looked at her like she'd lost her mind.

"Of course. It's his in-law's house, remember?" Buaji added sarcastically.

Garima fumed internally. I need to act fast before he arrives. I need Khushi alone and looked at Khushi, who just went to her room to take some rest.
