Author note :
Thanks for being patient, friends. Actually, I had to go to some village for some work last week and there was no internet connection. So, I couldn't update even though the update was ready. I came back last night.
I hope you will like the update.
Now, let's get back to the story.

Outside the room where Sheetal was kept :
Kajri Bai came out of the room with a smile. "Jenny yaar, hats off to ASR. Only ASR could think of such a way to make her confess. But do you think this woman will accept it?" she asked while changing her clothes.
"If she doesn't confess now, then I don't know when she ever will. You tell me! I mean, just think-what could be more frightening than this for a girl? To escape such a situation, any girl would be ready to do anything. So, confessing the crime is a minimal price to pay, wouldn't you agree?" Jenny asserted, then suddenly burst out laughing while looking at her friend Maya.
Maya looked confused. Seeing her expression, Jenny said between laughs, "Well, I have to admit, you played your character very well. I was so worried whether you'd be able to do it-or even agree to do it."
Maya stared at her, eyes full of disbelief. "How could you even think I'd refuse to do anything for ASR? You know he saved my life. I owe that man everything. He supported me at a time when everyone else had turned their backs. If I got the chance to do something for him, how could I say no?" Her voice cracked as tears welled in her eyes.
Jenny cursed herself and hugged her friend tightly. "Sorry, sorry, dear. I didn't mean to hurt you. I was just-"
Maya shushed her gently. "Leave all that. It doesn't matter now. What matters is Sheetal's confession. Let's go to the control room and check what's happening. After that, we'll send the video where it needs to go, right?"
They smirked at each other and went to see the latest developments.

INSIDE THE ROOM:
Meanwhile, Sheetal stood trembling in a dark corner, dreading the looming danger and terrifying future. Her mind replayed the ruse she and her mother had used to ruin Khushi's life-trying to sell her off to a brothel. Now, karma had turned its eye on her. Her own life was on the verge of being destroyed in the same horrifying way.
But instead of remorse, Sheetal felt fury. She believed Khushi or someone close to her was behind all this. "If I don't take revenge for every injustice done to me, Khushi, then my name isn't Sheetal Gupta. Just let me get out of here once-I'll destroy your precious life. That's my promise to myself and to YOU. No one will be able to stop me. Not even that so-called lover of yours, Ankit."
As she stewed in rage, she began plotting.
"Somehow I have to find out who's really behind all this. It's not just Ankit. There's someone else pulling the strings. I can feel it. But who? And what do they want? There's no point crying or pleading with these people-they won't reveal anything. But why me? Why only me? My mother and Shyam were just as involved. So why aren't they here? I need to clear these doubts and get to ASR. He'll take care of everything for me. For that, I have to endure all this silently. Where are you, ASR?"
She wiped her tears and tried to brace herself for what was coming.
Just then, she was jolted out of her thoughts by vile laughter. Her stomach dropped as the goons moved toward her with predatory steps. All sensible thoughts vanished. Fear took over.
"So, who's going first? You, Raman? You wanted a taste of her, didn't you?" their leader asked, leering.
Sheetal's face turned white. She trembled as the reality sank in. This wasn't an illusion. This was really happening.
Her heart skipped a beat. Her only focus now was to escape-at any cost. Pride, ego, revenge-none of it mattered.
"If I survive, I can take revenge later. But to do that, I must survive first. And Sheetal Gupta can do anything to stay alive... anything."
As she tried to flee, her foot caught on an old carpet and she fell. The goons laughed as she scrambled away, trembling.
"No... no... please don't do this. Let me go, please. I'll give you all the money you want. More than what your boss paid you. Please!" she begged.
They paused for a moment, exchanging sly smirks. Her desperation excited them more.
"Trying to buy us off, are you?" the leader sneered. "We don't want your filthy money. What we want is something you can't bargain away. So get ready. After tonight, you'll be nothing but a whore."
"I'll give you whatever you want! Anything! Just name your price," she pleaded, not realizing the cost of her promise.
The goons halted. The leader, Gagan, raised a brow. "Really? Alright, then tell me-what sins have you committed?"
Sheetal froze. "W-what? What are you talking about? I haven't committed any sins!"
Disappointed, Gagan clenched his jaw. "I told you she couldn't give us anything but fun. Come on, guys. Let's get this over with."
"No! No! I'll talk! I'll tell you everything!" she screamed.
They stopped. Sheetal then confessed everything she and her mother had done, including the plan to sell Khushi. "I've said everything. Please, now let me go!" she begged.
The goons turned and rushed out of the room, leaving a devastated but relieved Sheetal behind.
Relief was short-lived. Rage returned as she realized they hadn't said a word to her before leaving. They had promised to let her go if she confessed. Why had they just walked out?
"What have I done?" she whispered, wiping the sweat from her face. Now her thoughts turned to her mother. What would Garima do after learning about this confession?
---
OUTSIDE THE ROOM (DUNGEON BUILDING):
Gagan and the others ran to inform Jenny and Maya. "She confessed, Jenny! ASR got everything he wanted."
Jenny shrugged. "Great. Now we finish the final step. Gagan, tell our tech guy to edit out the part where you guys were walking toward her and send the confession to the intended recipient. Send the full video to ASR."
"But didn't ASR already watch the whole thing live?" Gagan asked.
Jenny smirked. "So what? He saw it live once. Now he can enjoy the recording whenever he wants." She winked.
"You're evil," Maya and Gagan said in unison.
"Yup, always have been," she grinned. "Alright, enough chit-chat. Back to work. I'll talk to him soon."

RM (STUDY ROOM):
Arnav Singh Raizada smirked as he watched the video sent by Jenny. His grin widened as Sheetal confessed. Still watching, he picked up his phone.
"Our work is done. We have her confession. We can use it when needed. I think we should let her escape now, don't you agree?" he said.
The person on the other side agreed.
"Oh, and listen," he added, "you're coming to our reception, right?"
After a moment's pause, he snapped, "Stop it, Ankit! Don't be foolish. She's your sister. You'll have to face her sooner or later. So I don't want any arguments on this, Mr. Ankit Malhotra. Got it?"
When Ankit finally agreed, Arnav sighed in relief.
Convincing Ankit to attend the reception had been a challenge. Ankit wanted to see Khushi but feared facing her after abandoning her during her darkest times. The guilt haunted him. But now he had taken the first step. Next, Arnav hoped to reunite the siblings-something they both needed.
His thoughts were interrupted when Aman entered, placing a file on his table.
"Arnie, this file has everything about Anirudh Malhotra. His family knows nothing about his past-not his relationship with Garima, nor about Sheetal or Ankit. Plus, there are several secrets in here that we can use when the time is right."
Arnav flipped through the file.
"So Garima didn't know about his present family. She spent her life thinking he'd give everything to her and Sheetal. Meanwhile, he had a real family he loved-and a legitimate daughter. Interesting."
His voice had a chilling calmness that unsettled Aman.
"Arnie... you're not planning to hurt his family, are you?"
Arnav glared at him. "Do you think I'm like Anirudh Malhotra or Garima Gupta? I won't destroy a family for revenge. Yes, my plan involves them-but only to destroy HIM. If they're innocent, don't they deserve to know the truth? Doesn't he deserve punishment for destroying a family-forcing a young boy to grow up overnight and snatching everything from a baby girl?"
Aman nodded. "Alright, alright, calm down. I know you won't harm any innocent. I'm with you."
Arnav nodded back. Aman pulled him into a tight hug.
Breaking the hug, Aman asked, "By the way, why did you ask Jenny to find Shyam? We already have him in custody."
Arnav gave him a look that said everything-and silenced him.

That's it for today.
So, what do you think?
Did you guys enjoy the little drama Arnav staged for Sheetal to make her confess her crime?
And finally,
How is it? I hope it turns out good and I haven't disappointed my readers.

P. S :
Some readers left the last update, thinking Arnav would do such a horrendous thing to Sheetal and as girls they can't support it. They even dm me to tell this. I asked them to relax as I'm also a girl and I don't support such a thing, even if a girl is a she-devil.
I hope now they can be relaxed and read further with a bit of trust in me that I would never promote such things by my writing.
