Continued From The Last Part :
After Khushi departed, he took the call with a grave expression. Once Aman started talking, his seriousness turned into a menacing grin. He directed Aman to bring someone to the office basement and said, "I'm on my way, Ammy." Determined to outmanoeuvre him, he made his way to the important meeting with eagerness and anticipation.

OFFICE BASEMENT:
Arnav Singh Raizada was a force to be reckoned with wherever he went. He exuded an aura of confidence and power, making his presence known to everyone around him. As he walked in, heads turned and conversations stopped; all eyes were on him. It was as if he owned the place, with his head held high and a regal demeanour. His steps were purposeful, and his gaze was determined, never once wavering. He commanded attention and respect without even saying a word. His arrival was nothing short of majestic as he entered the room with an air of confidence and authority. He was a born leader, and his commanding presence was a testament to that. It was impossible to ignore him, and everyone instinctively knew that this was someone not to be trifled with. Arnav's arrival was like a gust of wind, strong and unwavering, leaving a lasting impression on all those who were lucky enough to witness it. He truly was a king among men, and his presence alone demanded the utmost admiration and reverence.
He was a powerful and feared man, with the ability to destroy his enemies with just a snap of his fingers. His strength and dominance were evident in the way he carried himself, exuding an aura of confidence and control. Anirudh Malhotra could see this power radiating from him. He knew that crossing paths with Arnav meant risking everything, as the mere snap of his fingers could lead to one's downfall. He had listened to stories about Arnav destroying his foes. He had witnessed one of those incidents firsthand-how effortlessly Arnav could bring his enemies to their knees, leaving him in awe and fear at the same time. Anirudh knew better than to challenge someone as formidable as Arnav Singh Raizada. The sight of Arnav's enemies trembling in fear at his mere presence was a testament to his unparalleled strength and dominance. Anirudh could see that Arnav was not someone to be messed with, and he made sure to keep a safe distance from him.
After learning that Garima had become ASR's mother-in-law, he made a conscious decision to avoid any contact with her. He even went as far as turning off his phone to ensure she couldn't reach out to him. He knew that with ASR now a part of Garima's family, he was in serious trouble if ASR discovered the crimes they had committed together. ASR had a well-known reputation for not tolerating wrongdoers, and his fears were confirmed when he found out that ASR's people were monitoring him. Although he managed to escape temporarily, he underestimated ASR's determination. If he had known more about ASR, he would have realised that ASR always got what he wanted, no matter the obstacles. Within a few hours, ASR had located and brought him before him, leaving him feeling extremely nervous sitting in front of the powerful and determined man.
Anirudh Malhotra was a man torn between fear and confusion. He couldn't shake off the terror that consumed him whenever he thought about ASR, and yet he couldn't help but be intrigued by their sudden interest in him. It had been weeks since he learned that ASR's men were watching his every move, and he couldn't make sense of it. He had never been involved in ASR's affairs or cases, so why were they targeting him? Did they uncover something about his past that he was unaware of? And even if they did, why would ASR, a powerful and feared figure, bother with someone like him? These questions plagued Anirudh's mind, and he couldn't find any answers. He was left wondering what he could have possibly done to attract the attention of ASR, and it filled him with both fear and confusion.
As Anirudh sat deep in thought, pondering the events of the day, he was abruptly pulled out of his reverie by ASR's assertive voice. Startled, he looked up to see Arnav's impassive face staring back at him, causing beads of sweat to form on his forehead unconsciously. In that moment, Anirudh could feel the weight of ASR's presence and power as his authoritative voice cut through the silence. Despite his best efforts to remain composed, Anirudh couldn't help but feel intimidated by ASR's commanding demeanour. He knew that any thought or action that went against ASR's wishes could have serious consequences, and this realisation only added to the beads of sweat forming on his forehead. Anirudh took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves and gather his thoughts before addressing ASR, who seemed to be waiting for a response.
Arnav approached Anirudh with a confident stride, his face betraying no emotion. As they sat face to face, his words cut through the tense silence: "Well, Mr. Anirudh Malhotra, we finally met. You made us chase after you quite a bit for this brief meeting. Not a good move... Not a good move at all." Though he made an innocent face, anyone could see it was only a facade to hide his true intentions. Anirudh felt a twinge of fear but tried to maintain his composure as he asked sternly, "What is the meaning of this, Mr. Raizada? Why did your goons abduct me and bring me here? You are aware of who I am, aren't you? And the consequences of your actions. You can't just tarnish my reputation. I will involve the police." Despite his shaky demeanour, Anirudh attempted to intimidate Arnav, who remained calm and composed, unfazed by his threats. It was clear that Arnav was in control of the situation and that Anirudh was at his mercy.
As soon as Anirudh finished speaking, Arnav couldn't help but burst into uncontrollable laughter. "Good joke, Anirudh Malhotra," he exclaimed, barely able to speak through his fits of mirth. "I must say, you are a very funny man!" Arnav continued to mock Anirudh's statement about being a respected person, taunting the idea that Anirudh himself could be considered respectable. Anirudh could feel his discomfort growing as Arnav's sarcastic tone and mocking words hit a little too close to home. He shifted in his chair, trying to find a way to defend himself, but before he could say anything, Arnav continued, "What did you say, a respected person? And that too YOU, out of all people, YOU?" Anirudh's fear and unease only increased as he questioned Arnav's words with a quivering voice. Suddenly, a strange fear started to grip him as he wondered if there was some hidden meaning behind Arnav's words. He couldn't understand why he was being so sarcastic and mocking towards him.
Before Anirudh could even utter another word, Arnav's actions spoke volumes. He abruptly threw a file onto the table in front of him, signalling for Anirudh to begin reading. As Arnav leaned back in his chair, a sense of confidence and control radiated from him. He patiently waited for Anirudh to finish reading the file, knowing that it would have the desired effect. As Anirudh's eyes scanned over the pages, a look of fear and apprehension slowly crept onto his face. By the time he had finished reading, he was visibly pale and trembling with fear. Arnav had accomplished his goal: to have Anirudh at his mercy. The power play between the two men was evident, with Arnav firmly in control and Anirudh at his mercy. He realised the gravity of the situation and knew that he was no match for Arnav's cunning tactics. He could only hope to come out of this situation unscathed, but deep down, he knew that Arnav had already won this battle.
Anirudh was seething with anger as he threw the file on the table, denying the claims made against him. He couldn't believe that Arnav had the audacity to try and blackmail him with this information. Did he not know who Anirudh was and what he was capable of? But as Arnav remained unfazed by his threats, a wicked smile crossed his face, revealing that he saw through Anirudh's facade of bravery. Anirudh's heart raced with fear as Arnav coldly questioned his intentions, hinting at his past crimes, saying, "What would you do, Anirudh Malhotra? Just as you had murdered your brother and his wife, would you do the same to my family?" As the truth of his actions being exposed by ASR sunk in, Anirudh realised that Arnav knew more than what was in the file. He was now faced with the harsh reality that his past misdeeds could come back to haunt him.
Anirudh stood frozen in shock as ASR's words echoed in his mind. "What... what? What are you saying?" he stammered, trying to make sense of the accusation. His heart raced as he struggled to comprehend the gravity of the situation. "What murder? Which murder?" he asked, his fear growing with each passing moment. "Have you gone mad, ASR?" he questioned, his voice trembling. The realisation of ASR's connection to the murder sent chills down Anirudh's spine. "And what's your connection with all of this? Why are you behind me?" Anirudh's fear was evident as he pleaded for answers, desperately trying to deny any involvement in the crime. Despite his pale complexion and trembling hands, he maintained his innocence, hoping that ASR would believe him.
"Hmm! For the first time, you have asked a good question. What do you ask? What connection do I have with all this, right? Hmmm... Now that you have asked, it is my duty to tell you the truth, isn't it, cha-cha-sa-su-r ji!" As he spoke, his words seemed to drill into Anirudh's mind, unravelling the mystery of their relationship and revealing their true connection. It was a significant moment for both of them, and Anirudh could only listen intently as Arnav slowly revealed the truth.
"Uncle, who are you? An... and why are you doing this?" AM's voice trembled as he asked the question. The man before him replied with a venomous tone, "Me? I am the one whose love was snatched away from him because of YOU. I am the one whose love's life was ruined in her childhood because of YOU. I am the one whose love's everything was taken away from her by YOU." He continued, "Her childhood, her parents, her brother, and her property... every damn thing was snatched away by YOU. KHUSHI-you remember the name, I guess. You're enjoying HER money after all." Arnav's sarcasm was evident in his words. Then his expression changed to a thoughtful one as he continued, "Oh! By Khushi, I remember something. You have a beautiful daughter, right? The one you gave an education abroad? Does she know how that money was earned by her father? Does she know how many innocent people's blood you shed for this money? DID YOUR DAUGHTER KNOW ABOUT GARIMA GUPTA AND YOUR ILLEGITIMATE AFFAIR AND ABOUT YOUR ILLEGITIMATE DAUGHTER?"
"Just imagine, Anirudh Malhotra, what would happen when your daughter would find out about your disgusting past and your illegitimate daughter. It would be a shock to her, to say the least. As a father, you have always portrayed yourself as a respectable and honourable man in front of your daughter. She looked up to you and trusted you completely. But when she discovers the truth about your past, it would shatter her perception of you. Your daughter would be forced to question everything she knows about you and would struggle to come to terms with the fact that her own father has this gruesome, dark, and shameful past. Moreover, finding out about your illegitimate daughter would destroy her for sure." He felt an unknown satisfaction seeing him pale minute by minute.
Anirudh Malhotra was in a state of panic as he covered his ears and begged for the torture to stop. Tears streamed down his face as he thought of his daughter, the one person he loved more than anything in the world. Despite being a bad person, he knew that his daughter saw him as an ideal father, someone who could do no wrong. The thought of her finding out about his true self was enough to send shivers down his spine. As he sat in the chair, trembling with fear, he looked into Arnav's cold and emotionless eyes, it dawned on him why people called him a merciless, cold-hearted monster. Anirudh's eyes were filled with tears of helplessness as he slumped his shoulders in defeat. With a defeated voice, he asked Arnav what he wanted from him, knowing that there must have been a reason for him to go to such lengths to find out about him. In response, a sly smile appeared on Arnav's lips, revealing his true intentions.
Arnav had finally told him what he wanted. However, upon hearing Arnav's demand, his face turned pale, and he immediately refused. He knew that fulfilling Arnav's request would destroy everything he had worked for-his name, fame, respect, and even his family. To his surprise, Arnav quickly agreed, and he breathed a sigh of relief, thinking he might be spared.
However, his relief was short-lived as he again heard Arnav say, "By the way, I forgot to inform you of something. Actually, the family you had kept hidden from Garima Gupta for so many years, in fear that she would destroy your family in a jiffy if she found out, has come to her attention. To make matters worse, she was planning to have your daughter murdered so that she could claim your property. Only I could save your daughter now." As he sat there in shock and confusion, Arnav coldly reminded him that he had helped Garima find out the truth. He then left him to ponder over his options-saving his daughter or protecting his reputation.
Saying this, Arnav made a quick exit, but before he could leave, AM lunged at him in an attempt to kill him. However, Arnav's guards swiftly intervened and caught AM, leaving Arnav smirking at his failed attempt. As AM fumed and shouted in anger, trying to break free from his guards' hold, he exclaimed, "Are you even human or a monster? What has my daughter done to you? Why did you do this? If anything happens to my daughter, I will kill you."
Arnav's expression turned cold as he listened to his words. "What did Arav Malhotra do to you? What sin did his family commit that you destroyed his entire family? What did his children do to you that dragged them into your money thirst? Listen, Mr. Anirudh Malhotra, if you want your daughter's safety, then you have to do what I'm saying. Got that?" His voice was cold and unfeeling. It was clear that Arnav was not someone to be trifled with and was determined to get what he wanted, even if it meant using force. With a heavy heart, he realised that he had no choice but to make a deal with Arnav in order to save his daughter's life. Arnav Singh Raizada left, leaving a broken and helpless father behind.

IN ARNAV'S CAR:
As the car pulled away, Arnav slumped into his seat, exhaustion evident in every line of his posture. It was clear that he had just endured a challenging ordeal and come out victorious. Aman, who had remained silent throughout Arnav's confrontation with Anirudh, placed a comforting hand on his friend's shoulder and asked about his well-being. When their eyes met, Aman was moved to see tears in Arnav's eyes-a display of their deep bond. Without hesitation, Aman embraced him tightly, offering silent support and understanding without the need for words. Their unspoken connection had always been enough to convey their emotions. As Arnav gradually relaxed in the embrace, Aman questioned why Ankit was not involved in the confrontation. Arnav explained that he wanted to spare Ankit the emotional turmoil before his meeting with Khushi the next day, aiming for a fresh start without past burdens. Aman smiled at his friend's considerate reasoning and refrained from commenting, respecting his decision. In comfortable silence, they headed home, eagerly anticipating what tomorrow would bring.
