RAIZADA MANSION :

While Anirudh Malhotra and Garima Gupta were facing troubled times, and Garima was busy scheming her evil plans, there was another man who stood nervously at the door of Raizada Mansion. His restlessness was evident from the way he rubbed his sweaty palms, and his eyes showed a mix of anxiety and hope. After many years, he was finally going to meet someone who was dear to him-his own sister. He didn't know what to expect when Khushi saw him. Would she be angry, or would she forgive him for leaving her in an unfamiliar place with a stranger all those years ago? He couldn't even bring himself to make eye contact with her. He regretted his decision to abandon her, knowing that if he had taken her with him, she wouldn't have had to endure all the suffering caused by Garima and Sheetal. As these thoughts raced through his mind, the door swung open, and there stood Khushi, radiant and beautiful as ever.

Khushi's confusion turned to shock as the young man in front of her introduced himself as Ankit Malhotra. She couldn't believe it; her long-lost brother had finally returned. Her emotions were overwhelming, and she couldn't help but shed tears as she gazed at him. Ankit, too, was overcome with emotion as he saw Khushi's tearful eyes and quivering lips. The years of separation and longing seemed to melt away as they looked at each other with love and a sense of disbelief, guilt, and apprehension. They both knew that their love was still strong, even after not seeing each other for several years, and that their reunion marked the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.

Khushi's voice quivered as she whispered, "Bhai... Bhaiya," causing Ankit's heart to tremble upon hearing the familiar name. It had been years since Ankit had taken the name 'Guria,' but the word brought back a flood of emotions and memories. Tears welled up in his eyes as he struggled to hold back his emotions, while Khushi leaned against the door for support, overwhelmed by the moment. Ankit rushed to her side, gently patting her head in a silent effort to comfort her. Meanwhile, Arnav, who had been waiting for Khushi's response, arrived at the scene upon hearing the commotion. He found Khushi and Ankit in this emotional state, their bond as siblings stronger than ever before. This heartfelt moment between the three of them brought a sense of warmth and unity within the family, and they knew that they would always be there for each other no matter what.

In the midst of this tumultuous moment, Arnav reached out and held his wife Pari's hand, offering her the support and comfort she needed. As she slowly lifted her wet eyelids, she gazed up at her husband, and he could feel the familiar touch piercing through his heart. However, he also knew that her tears were not of sadness but of happiness. In a hushed voice, Pari whispered, "Nannavvv... bhaiyaa... bhaiyaa," and pointed towards him. Arnav couldn't help but smile at her love for her brother, and he nodded in agreement. Despite the challenges they might face, Arnav and Pari's bond remained unbreakable, strengthened by their love and support for each other.

As soon as her Nannav agreed to this, which she couldn't believe until some time ago, she, without thinking, jumped onto her brother's arm and hugged him tightly. It was as if her life depended on him, and she started sobbing loudly while chanting, "Bhaiya... Bhaiya... Bhaiya." Ankit, who had expected anything but this, was a little surprised at first, but after some time, he just hugged his little Guria as tightly as she was hugging him, with tears in his eyes and a smile on his lips. His eyes also welled up seeing his little baby sister sobbing so hard. He lovingly caressed her hair while shushing her, trying to comfort her in any way he could. Arnav and others who had rushed in after hearing the commotion had soft smiles on their faces, witnessing the beautiful bond between the siblings. It was a heartwarming moment that brought tears of joy to everyone's eyes, reminding them of the unbreakable bond of love and family.

Ankit desperately tried to calm down his younger sister Guria as she sobbed uncontrollably. He pleaded with her to stop crying, "Hushhh... hushhhh, Guria. Don't cry like this, child. You will feel unwell." However, his attempts were in vain, as Guria's cries only grew louder and more desperate. She questioned him in a high-pitched voice, asking, "Why, bhaiya? Why did you leave me? Why didn't you take me with you, bhaiya? Why...?" Ankit could feel the weight of guilt crushing him as he heard his sister's tears and pleas. He closed his eyes, unable to face the pain and sorrow he had caused his beloved sister. The sound of Guria's cries was like a dagger to his heart, reminding him of his responsibility towards her and the pain he had caused by leaving her behind. Ankit knew that he had to find a way to console her and make it up to Guria, and he vowed to never leave her behind again.

Seeing Ankit overwhelmed with guilt, Arnav gently took Khushi in his arms and began to caress her hair, trying to comfort her. "Jaan, what is this? Does anyone cry like this after meeting her brother after so many years? This is such a happy thing, isn't it?" He understood why Khushi was crying so much after finally being reunited with her long-lost brother, but now he didn't want Khushi to question Ankit about the past. At least not now. Arnav didn't want to make Ankit feel guilty again, as he could see that he was already struggling with his own feelings of remorse. In the short time that they had known each other, Arnav had grown to consider Ankit a good friend, and he understood why he had made the decisions he did in the past. However, Khushi's grief was causing her to repeat the same things over and over again, which was making both Arnav and Ankit sad. That's why it was important for Arnav to divert Khushi's attention and change her mind. Aman, who had been listening to their conversation, decided to lighten the mood by teasing Arnav about being possessive of Khushi. He playfully commented on how Arnav couldn't see her in anyone else's arms, not even her own brother's. "Wow, Arnie, you are so cunning, man! No, I mean, I knew from the very beginning that you were overly possessive about bhabhi, but you crossed the line today, man. I mean, I knew that you couldn't see her in anyone's arms, but today I only got to know that you also couldn't see her in her brother's arms, buddy! How slyly you pulled her into your arms, wow!" He made a face and, looking at Ankit, said, "Ankit, poor you, buddy, you'll have to bear this overly possessive crazy lover of your sister from now on!" Aman's teasing was interrupted by Arnav's infamous "What the" exclamation.

Upon hearing Arnav's furious exclamation, everyone in the room turned to look at him, including Aman, who had been speaking. Aman quickly halted his words and glanced at Arnav, who was glaring at him with anger in his eyes and clenched teeth. Confused and taken aback by the sudden change in his friend, Aman stammered as he asked, "What... What's wrong? Why are you spitting fire? Did I say anything wrong? Everyone, did I say anything wrong, huh?" He was clueless about why Arnav was glaring at him. He even sought support from others in the room, but instead, he received incredulous looks, with some struggling to contain their laughter. Anjali, Arnav's sister, couldn't hold it in any longer and burst into laughter, causing others to join in. It was now clear that Aman had said something that had triggered Arnav's intense reaction, but the rest of the group found it hilarious. Aman's confusion and cluelessness only added to the comedic moment as he tried to figure out what he had said wrong.

Khushi, like everyone else, couldn't help but chuckle a little at the situation. Seeing her smile, everyone around her let out a sigh of relief. Dadi then playfully asked Khushi if she was planning to keep her brother outside or invite him in: "Khushi bitiya, were you going to keep your brother standing outside and fight with him, or were you going to invite him inside as well?"

Khushi felt a twinge of embarrassment as she looked at Ankit, who she had just recently found out was her long-lost brother. She apologised, "I'm... I'm sorry bha... bhai...uhh... bhaiya. Please come inside." However, she stammered a bit while addressing him as 'bhaiya.' Even though she now knew the truth, there was still a level of hesitation in her interactions with Ankit. This was not lost on him, and he regretted his past actions that had caused this rift between them. Others also noticed the awkward exchange between the siblings but didn't say anything, choosing to give them space. Though Khushi's mood had improved after Aman's intervention, she still couldn't bring herself to fully forgive Ankit. Arnav let out a sad sigh while watching as she retreated back into her shell. Aman comforted him, saying, "Don't worry, buddy; everything will be alright soon. She needs some time to digest the fact that her brother is actually with her and in front of her. Give her some time." Arnav nodded, and they all went inside, hoping for a happy reunion.

After a few awkward moments, Khushi suddenly ran away, ignoring everyone calling out to her. Arnav was about to follow her when his father stopped him and directed Khushi's brother, Ankit, to go to her room, saying, "No, Chote, not you. Ankit, beta, you go. At this time, she needs you-her brother and not her husband. Go upstairs and then first right." Arnav became annoyed at being stopped, feeling that Khushi needed him as well. "What the dad? Khushi needs Ankit at this moment, agreed. But that doesn't mean that she wouldn't need me. Why did you stop me? Why didn't you let me go to her? She would need me too." Everyone rolled their eyes. His mother reprimanded him for his possessiveness and told him to give Khushi space with her brother. "Enough is enough, Chote! Khushi would only need her brother right now, not you. Only he could make her understand. And for God's sake, Chote, leave both of them alone at this time. There is a lot that both of them have to clear. She needs some time alone with her brother, which she won't have if you are there with her. So please give her some space, and if you don't stop this over-possessiveness of yours, then one day she will leave you, Arnav. Mark my words: love is good, not madness. What you do when you are with her is called madness, not love."

"MAMMAAA!" Before she could continue, Arnav's screaming voice forced her to become silent. He moved to his mother with predatory steps and literally threatened her with clenched teeth, making each word clear: "Listen to one thing loud and clear, Mom! Never... I mean it, never ever say something like that again. Khushi is, was, and will always be mine and would always be with me, no matter what. And yes, I don't care what you or anyone else thinks about my love. But yes, you were right about one thing: Khushi is not JUST MY LOVE, MOM. SHE BECAME MY PASSION, DEVOTION, MADNESS. SHE IS MY EVERYTHING. So N.E.V.E.R E.V.E.R D.A.R.E!" Arnav defiantly declared his love for Khushi and left the room, leaving a baffled mother and family behind. Aman, who had been watching all this and scared of THIS CERTAIN REACTION WHEN HE HEARD HIS AUNTY, followed Arnav as he knew more than the family; his friend needed him right now.

STUDY, RM

As soon as he stepped into the study, the young man's frustration and anger boiled to the surface. He didn't even bother to take off his coat before slamming his fist against the wall near the door. The impact reverberated through the room, matching the intensity of the thoughts racing through his mind. His mother's words had struck a chord with him, making him realise that his love for Khushi had turned into an all-consuming passion. But he couldn't bear the thought of her being alone without him, and his possessiveness towards her only intensified. He knew that his actions might be seen as madness by others, but for him, Khushi was everything, and he would do anything to be with her. His love for her was unconditional, and he wouldn't let anyone come between them. He couldn't help but wonder what would happen if she ever left him-a thought that filled him with fear and desperation. The pressure was suffocating, and in a moment of overwhelming emotion, he lashed out at the nearest solid object.

Aman arrived just in time to see Arnav in a state of distress. He could tell that something was really bothering him and immediately reached out to hold his hand, preventing him from hurting himself. Aman was shocked by Arnav's behaviour and demanded an explanation, "STOP IT, ARNIE! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? Why the hell are you going hyper over those words? Why don't you forget what she said?"

Arnav pushed Aman away and expressed his hurt and frustration. "How could I, Ammy? How could Mamma even say something like that? Pari would never leave me, Ammy." Then he looked at Aman and asked in a weak voice, "She would not leave me and go, right? Did you also feel that my presence was suffocating her?"

Aman's heart broke, seeing his friend in such a vulnerable state. He reassured Arnav. He shook his head emphatically, "Never, Arnie, never. Bhabhi would never leave you, nor does she feel the same way as Aunty said. But yes, sometimes it's good to leave her alone. Like right now! Right now, Bhabhi doesn't need her husband or her childhood friend. Now, she needs only Ankit, just as he needs his sister. You also know that both of them have grown very distant over the years. And for Bhabhi, it is a different matter. Did you ever think about what she has been going through since she found out that she not only didn't have a brother but also that her brother left her with some stranger, whatever the reason might be? That thought has settled in her heart and mind, and only Ankit could get it out of her system. Not you or anyone else-because only a brother could make a sister understand. That's why I'm saying to leave them alone for now. And yes, do not think that Bhabhi would ever leave you. Okay? And I'm here, right? And why fear when Aman Mathur is there!"

Aman consoled him by patting his back.

Arnav kept staring at Aman for some time and then hugged him tightly. "If you had not been there, then I don't know what would have happened to me, Ammy." Saying this, Arnav tightened the hug.

To improve his mood, Aman teased him, "What else would have happened? You would have been roaming around like a volcano and burning others along with you."

Arnav broke the hug while scowling at him but chuckled nonetheless. Aman's words and actions were a source of comfort for Arnav in his time of need.

After their conversation, Arnav calmed down. As the adrenaline faded, he was left with a sense of regret and guilt for losing control. Yet, despite these feelings, he couldn't shake off the weight of his mother's words, making him wonder if he would ever be able to survive if this ever happened.
