The room is musty. The mood is grim. I couldn't blame them. I stand silently next to Connie and Sasha. Erwin goes on with his speech. I turn to see Levi. He was bland as usual. I look closer and gasp. He wiped away tears and drooped his head. I have always heard him talk about his old friends. Perhaps.......Eren reminded him of someone special. Then it becomes more intense. I feel my imagination take me back to Shinginshina. It's noon and I'm standing in a field. I see Eren far back in front of me. He smiles. "Come on Mikasa....it's almost dinner time" he calls. I run up to his side. I grip his hand and he smiles, dragging me along. The world freezes. Eren is frozen along with everything else besides me. Then I feel a hand on my shoulder. It's 15 year old Eren. He smiles and closes his eyes, fading away. My eyes widen. Younger Eren disappears as well. I fall to me knees alone. My imagination takes me back to the funeral. I begin to sob. I hear Connie whispering to Sasha. "Man Eren....killed by Annie" he begins. "I hear Eren liked Annie a lot". My heart stops. I couldn't believe it. Annie was a monster and I would kill her in a heartbeat. Suddenly, I hear a distant scream. Everyone goes silent. I run up to the window and glance out.  I see flames in the sky. Levi pushes me aside. Lightning strikes. Everyone is rushing out the door. I run out the door and grab my 3dm. I see Levi do the same with everyone else. I start my fan section up and fly up onto the wall. I join Connie and Levi. They're silent. I gasp. I see titan's bodies scorched across the field. I see a figure in the middle of a ring of scorched grass. Then I see him look up. Eren. I gasp. "Eren.." I breath. Levi and Connie leap off the wall. I join them. We land perfectly. "EREN!" I scream. I see growing weak. I run faster. Levi runs frantically by my side. Levi is ahead of me. He skids to a stop and look at Eren. Eren looks up at him. Eren suddenly faints. I gasp and skid by his side. I embrace him into a hug. I begin to sob. "EREN!" I scream. "I LOVE YOU!" I cry harder. "I LOVE YOU!" I squeeze him harder. Eren was skinnier than I remembered. He breathes shallowly. I couldn't believe he was still alive. Eren Jaeger...the boy who saved my life. I see Levi out of the corner of my eye holding back tears and muffling his sobs with his hand.  I notice scorch marks all over Eren's hands. I gasp and hold his hand to my chest. "What happened to you?" I sob. Levi leans down beside me and lifts up one of his hands.  He looks down at it. He grips it. I see tears fall onto Eren's hand and see them coming from Levi. Eren...was alive.
