My parents weren't so happy when they heard about Seoeon. They weren't mad at me, but they were sorry that they even made me commit in the first place.

I tried to be nice with him, but he wouldn't do the same. I knew we wouldn't last.

Anyways.

Our break had ended a few weeks ago. We went straight back to working. When we practiced dancing, my body felt a bit stiff, probably because I haven't been dancing over break. My body was rested, but maybe a little too much. I wasn't used to things anymore.

It was getting hard for me to keep up. I could tell some of the other girls were struggling like me.

Of course, in between schedules, we had a little time off, but it wasn't a lot. There's just so much I want to do, but more stuff that I need to do that overtakes my time.

But one thing I look forward to is texting someone every night before I go to sleep.

Jimin started this thing where we send each other "good-night" texts, and if we have time, we talk about our days.

This was our conversation from last night.

Jimin: Going to sleep soon?

Jimin: I'm tired 🥱

Mina: Yep, heading to bed soon

Jimin: do you have time today 😶

Mina: I do and I'm guessing you do too

Jimin: yup yup 😁

Jimin: So how was your day?

Mina: Exhausting as usual 😞

Jimin: 😕

Mina: We left the dorms at 7 in the morning and we only got back an hour ago

Jimin: ah, maybe you should get to bed then..

Mina: no, it's okay

Mina: I'll be fine

Jimin: If you say so

Mina: What about you? How was your day

Jimin: Exhausting as well, but entertaining

Mina: how so?

Jimin: Let's just say I was helping a friend with his love-life

Jimin: But that was in between our actual work schedule

Mina: Were you guys busy too?

Jimin: You know it

Jimin: We had a 2 hour fan sign, dance practice, recordings, and we were guests on a radio show today

Mina: Sounds like you could use some rest too

Jimin: me? No, I have plenty of energy right now

Mina: I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not

Jimin: I'm not

Mina: oh

Jimin: 🙃

Mina: It's getting pretty late

Jimin: You're right, we should get to bed

Minari: mhm

Minari: Good night Jimin-oppa

Jimin: Good night Minari

Jimin: sleep well

I've gotten really close with Jimin in the last few months. We've been talking a lot more. We talk about a lot of things. One night, he called me, crying because he was so stressed out.  I asked him why he called me.

"Your voice just makes me feel...better." He said.

I was glad I could be there for him. And I was glad that he could trust me.

Jimin is different.

He's constantly going out of his own way to help others, but he never expects anything in return. I admire that.

I was about to go to sleep for tonight, but I had to text Jimin first.

Mina: Jimin-oppa

Mina: I'm going to sleep soon

Jimin: ah okay

Jimin: I wasn't planning on sleeping for another hour or so, but you get your rest

Jimin: Do you have time to talk more?

Mina: Yeah, plenty

Jimin: :)

Mina: so how are you

Jimin: in a good mood

Mina: Oh? May I ask why?

Jimin: bc I'm talking to you hehe 😊

Mina: 💜

Mina: Anything else contributing to your good mood today?

Jimin: Oh..yea 😅

Jimin: I'm helping to write our new song

Mina: oohh

Jimin: would you like a little preview of my verse?

Mina: Sure

Jimin: okay

Mina: it's okay I guess I'll just find out when everyone else does

Jimin: Can I ask you something?

Mina: Yeah of course

Jimin: okay...well

Jimin: Would you like to go out with me? Like on a date?

Mina: a date?

Mina: You want to go out with me?

Jimin: yea...

Jimin: it's fine if you don't want to though

Mina: Oppa I'd gladly go on a date with you

Jimin: really??

Jimin: Oh wow ok 😅

Jimin: ok, I was thinking we could go ice skating? Is that ok?

Mina: Yea! Sounds fun

Jimin: ah ok

Jimin: does this Saturday around noon work for you?

Mina: hold on let me check my schedule

Jimin: okay

Jimin: :)

Mina: Yes, it works for me

Mina: but we have something scheduled for 3:30 so I can't be out too long

Jimin: Got it

Jimin: oh it's late, I'll let you sleep

Mina: So it's a date?

Jimin: I guess it's a date 😉 💕
