J I M I N

Schedules are back and busy as usual. We've already started working on our next album which is set to be released in the next year. Our last comeback had a great response, so hopefully we can keep going strong.

These days, I really feel like a teenager. I've been "sneaking out" lately to spend time with Mina.

My managers don't know about us dating so sometimes I have to lie to them when they ask where I'm going.

Technically, we're allowed to date, but when the boss finds out, he'll start implementing all of these ridiculous rules. I know this because he found out about Jungkook and Sana. I also think it's just better to keep things mostly quiet. I know Mina doesn't like getting so much attention all of the time.

Speaking of Mina, I was planning on meeting her for lunch this afternoon. She's been at another rehearsal for the dance collab all morning.

I met her at a small brunch cafe for a quick stop. I only hand an hour before I had to get back to work. We sat at a table outside.

"So how was the rehearsal?" I ask her.

"It was okay," she takes a sip of her drink, "today was mostly discussing the performance and formations so we didn't get to do much dancing."

"Ah," I nod, "When was the performance again?" 

"Next month at the SBS show."

I nod again.

"What are your plans for today?" She asks.

"Uh, well," I look at my watch, "I have to head back to the agency soon for a meeting. I'm not sure what we're doing after that." I explain.

"Mm."

We finished eating and started walking back to the metro station.

"So...your birthday's coming up." Mina holds my hand, swinging our arms.

"Oh, yeah. Heh, I almost forgot." I say.

"What do you want to do for your birthday?"

"Um," I scratch my neck, "I'm not too sure. Nothing too big, but I think I want to celebrate it over a few days, spend some time with BTS, spend some time with my family, and you."

"Am I going to meet your family soon?" She asks.

"Sure," I say, "I'm sure they'd love to meet you."

We took the subway and Mina walked with me all the way to the agency before having a cab come pick her up and bring her back to the Twice dorms.

I wonder what this meeting is about. They didn't really tell us, they just sort of told us to come here.

I walked into the conference room and see a few of our managers, our CEO and my fellow members.

I take a seat at the round table next to Yoongi-hyung, waiting for the meeting to start.

"Does anyone know why I called this meeting today?"

We all glance at each other, but shake our heads.

"There's a few rumors going around right now." He goes on, "Dating rumors."

I start to sweat. No one says anything.

"Now, you all know the rules about relationships here." He says, "There's nothing wrong with dating, but whenever you're in a relationship, you need to confirm it with us." He glances at Jungkook who shrinks in his chair.

He turns his attention to me.

"Jimin-ah."

"Yes, sir?"

"Is it true that you're currently dating someone?"

I knew it. This was about me.

"Yes."

He signals the rest of the members that they can leave, his attention still focused on me.

"Is this person an idol like you?" He continues.

"Yes." I nod.

"Might I ask who?"

"Myoui Mina-ssi."

He turns to write something down.

"Thank you for your honesty, Jimin-ah. We'll contact you about this again later. You are dismissed."

I walk out of the room. The rest of the guys were waiting outside. They looked like I had just gotten in trouble with the principal at school.

"What happened? What did he say?" Jin-hyung asks me.

"He didn't really say much." I shrug.

"So what happened then?" Jungkook adds.

"I just told him that I'm dating Mina. That's all. He dismissed me right after that."

"That doesn't sound too good to me." Hoeseok-hyung says.

We all look at him.

"What? Why?" I say.

"Remember what happened to me?"JK started to catch on.

"What?" Tae asks.

"They're going to announce it. Like, officially. There's nothing you can do about it." Jungkook explains.

"What? But I thought they couldn't do that without permiss-"

"They won't care." He says, "If the media keeps bothering them, they'll announce it just to get them to stop."

Ah....what am I going to tell Mina?

We went back to our dorms for the day.

I was going to call Mina to tell her what happened, but I had a missed call.

It was from Seungwan? He hasn't talked to me in ages. I call him back to see what he wanted.

"Hello? Seungwan-ssi?

"Hi, sunbaenim, sorry to bother you," He laughs nervously, "I just wanted to ask you something."

"Okay, what is it?"

"Um...so I've heard that you're good friends with Mina-nuna, and we're working on a dance collab together," he trails off.

"Yeah, we're good friends." I say.

I didn't really want to tell him that we were dating, because that would make things awkward and I didn't think it was necessary.

"Ah, okay," he exhales, "you wouldn't happen to have her number would you?"

Her number..? What does he need her number for?

"N-no I don't. Sorry." I lie.

"Oh, okay. Uh, well thanks anyways, Jimin."

"Bye." I hang up.

I didn't mean to sound rude, but I was anxious.

Why does he want Mina's number? And if he wanted it, why didn't he just ask her?

There's too much on my plate right now. I'll take care of all of this later.
