J I M I N

(FLASHBACK: 3 HOURS AGO)

We finished our last rehearsal a little later than expected. We were practicing for hours at our own studio before that. I didn't have time to have lunch and I couldn't recall the last time I had something to drink.

All of us started getting ready right away. We arrived at the venue just in time before the show started. I was finding it hard to focus on the stage, until the GOT7, Twice, Seventeen, and GFriend collab stage.

I paid close attention to the dance. It's not often I get to see Mina perform with this kind of concept.

The part came where the girl group members and the boy group members came together. I was trying to pay attention to the performance, but I found myself paying very close attention to Seungwan-ssi's hands.

"Overprotective much?" I thought to myself.

I haven't seen Mina in a while. While both of our groups were seated in the audience, I wanted to get up and talk to her so bad, but I couldn't while the show was going on.

Eventually, BTS' turn on the stage arrived. We changed into our performance outfits and got to work.

The introduction to this stage wasn't too intense, but it was still fast. We didn't sing in the intro, but we did dance and did some acting.

The main track we were performing was Idol. Idol is one of our most difficult choreographies. It requires a lot of little details that make a big difference. There's a lot of jumping and spinning, I get winded quickly during this choreography.

I wasn't feeling so good. My stomach felt like it was cramping. I tried my best to endure the pain. I felt myself sweating, but I was cold.

We finally reached one of my final parts. I started to sing,

"I'm so fine wherever..." The room became blurry, my ears ringing. I felt myself stop moving.

Something hit me and then I hit the ground. And then everything went dark.

I blinked my eyes open to a bright light and someone holding something cold to my head.

"Wha....what happened?" I mumble, trying to sit up.

The person holding an ice pack was Namjoon-hyung. He put his hand on my shoulder, wanting me to stay down.

"Jimin-ah?" Namjoon looked into my eyes.

"Hey, hyung."

He laughs.

"There he is."

I look around the room and see my boys looking over me.

"What happened? Where are we?" I ask again. 

"You tapped out." Jungkook says.

"What? When?" I couldn't remember clearly.

"While we were on stage, during our performance." Tae tells me.

"How're you feeling?" Jin-hyung asks me.

"I-I don't know. I feel fine I guess..."

"When was the last time you ate?" Yoongi-hyung asks.

I had to think back.

"Last night. When we had dinner."

"Jimin-ah, you gotta take care of yourself. You know that." Hoseok pats me on the shoulder.

"How's your head feeling?" Namjoon asks, pulling the ice pack off of my forehead.

I touch the cold spot, "It doesn't hurt. Did I hit my head?"

"You did. Yeah, sorry about that. During the performance, you kind of froze and I bumped into you." Hoseok apologizes to me.

"It's okay, hyung. I'm okay."

Namjoon looks at me concerned, but brushes it off.

"You can chill in here for the rest of the show if you want. We have to head back out for the awards." Namjoon says.

"I think I can get back out there. Just give me a few minutes. I'll be there." I insist.

Namjoon nods and they leave me in that dressing room by myself.

I guzzled down an entire bottle of water and I was about to get back to the show when there was a knock on the door.

"It's open." I say.

The door cracks open. Someone peeks their head into the room.

"Jimin-oppa..?" It was my Mina.

"Minari,"

She comes up to me and hugs me tight.

"Oppa, are you okay? You had me worried." She says.

"It's okay. I'm okay now." I held her close to my chest.

"What happened?" She asks.

"I guess I blacked out because I didn't eat or drink anything in a while." I say.

"And why'd you do that?" She tilts her head at me.

"I didn't mean to..." I trail off, "it's just, we were so busy, I didn't find time."

"Your wellbeing should always come first, but I won't lecture you about it here." She rubs my neck.

I was about to head back out again, but Mina stopped me.

"Hey." She calls.

I turn around, "Hm?"

"Did you eat something?"

"Oh...no." I twiddle my thumbs.

She grabs a chocolate bar out of the gift basket and tosses it to me.

"At least have this. You need to eat something. Did you not learn your lesson?"

I always kind of liked it when Mina scolded me.

"I know, I know."

I ate the chocolate and a some chips before we went back out to the show floor.

We walked through the hall, arm in arm, the noise getting louder and louder as we got closer.

Before we split ways once again, I gave Mina a quick kiss.

"I missed you." I say.

"I missed you too, oppa."
