That same night after the show recording, I couldn't keep still. We were all at the dorms since it was a little late to go to our own places.

While everyone else was in their rooms, I went over to Namjoon-hyung's office. I needed his help.

I knock on the door.

"Come in." He says from inside.

I step inside and look him in the eyes as he turns around at his desk.

"What's up, chim?" He asks.

"Hyung, I have a problem." I say.

"A problem?"

"I think I'm in love."

After venting everything out to Namjoon-hyung, he finally gets the chance to talk.

"Jimin, if that's truly how you feel, you should let her know. I'm sure there's a good chance she feels the same way about you." He says, poking my chest.

"I don't know..." I sigh.

"Hey, you asked me for help. There's my advice."

I nod once, "You're right, hyung. I'll tell her...just not now. I have to prepare myself.

I'm sure you all know who I'm talking about. This girl I'm referring to is amazing. My ideal type, I'm sure of it.

I was so sure of it.

Until a few days later. Jin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Tae, Jungkook, they all found out.

One morning, I was chilling in my room on my phone when Jungkook pops his head into my room.

He looked sorry.

"Hyung..." he says.

"What? What's wrong?"

He exhales, "She has a boyfriend..."

"Who? What?...you don't mean..." I trail off.

He slowly nods.

I let my phone slip out of my fingers.

"Wait, how do you know?" I ask.

"Uh...that's the thing. I was going to tell you."

"What?"

"I'm dating Sana-ssi...and she told me." he says so casually.

"Eh? Since when??" I was shocked. I knew they were close friends, but I had no idea about this.

"A few weeks ago." He admits.

"Ah.." I sigh, remembering the first thing he told me.

"Did she tell you who?" I ask.

He shakes his head, "No...I didn't ask."

I sigh once more, my face meeting my palm.

"Thanks for telling me JK.."

He silently nods before exiting and shutting the door.

Mina-ssi has a boyfriend..? Since when?

Ah...I was too slow. I had multiple chances and I didn't take any of them.

But all I can do now is be happy for them.

I want to ask about it, but how do I bring it up without being obvious? Or should I just be straightforward?

Oh, what's the use. I'll just let it go.

I'll let go of the subject for now, but my feelings will be with me forever.

A few weeks later...

BTS is finally on break. Our break will last about a month before we have to get back to work.

The first day of my break, I just rested. My body and my throat were both sore. No more singing and dancing for a while should get them back to normal.

The first week, I visited my family and spent some time at home.

The week after that, us guys stayed at the BTS dorms because we missed eachother, but Jin, Hoseok and Yoongi were still out of town.

It was just Namjoon-hyung and the maknae line.

One day, we were invited by some of the Twice members to go shopping with them. Something fun and casual to do. Why not?

Namjoon said Mina was coming too...and I remembered how I had felt.

I was nervous to see her again. I still wanted to be friends with her, but I still had this feeling in the back of my mind.

Jungkook insisted that I should come with them. I'll go. Why not, right?

We met them at a small local mall. This mall wasn't very popular so it wasn't very crowded. Good for us.

Only a few of the Twice members were there. Mina, Sana, Tzuyu, and Dahyun.

All of us ended up splitting up into groups and going to different stores.

Jungkook went with Sana, Tae and Namjoon went with Tzuyu and Dahyun and I went with Mina. She asked me what I was shopping for.

"Hm. I could use a new belt...and maybe some shades." I say.

"Oh, cool. I'm looking for some shades too, but I also want to check out some clothes."

While we were walking in between stores, I finally ask her.

"So...I heard you're in a relationship now?"

"Oh? Yeah..who'd you hear from?"

I laugh nervously, "Jungkook actually told me. He heard it from Sana."

"Of course." She sighs.

"So who's the lucky guy?"

"Ah, his name's Seoeon. Choi Seoeon."

(A/N Seoeon is a fictional character)

I slowly nod, "How'd you two meet?"

"My parents actually introduced us." She looks down.

"There's nothing wrong with that." I tell her.

She shrugs. I was getting mixed signals from her.

"Do you not like him?" I ask.

"I don't know..." she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, "It just seems like he might not be interested. His parents probably forced him into it." She looks down on herself.

I was concerned, but I didn't know what to say.

"It's your life. Shouldn't you decide who to love?" I say.

It grows quiet between us.

She seems to brush it off as we enter the next store.

Mina and I had finished shopping for what we were looking for so we visited some random shops. We still had another hour before we had to meet everyone back at the entrance.

Mina had found this one coat in a small department store. She really liked it.

Before deciding to get it, she tried it on.

"How's it look?" She asks me.

"It looks really good on you." I say, being honest.

She smiles and ends up buying the jacket.

We were walking back to the entrance when we pass the movie theater.

All of a sudden, Mina stops.

"What's wrong, Minari?" I ask, following her eyes.

She was upset; staring at a couple leaving the theater.

I start, "Wh-"

"Seoeon..."

I barely heard it. She whispered it under her breath.

So quickly, she starts to approach the guy.

"Seoeon?" She grabs the guy's shoulder.

I kept my distance, but I was still watching, just in case.

The man turns around, and so does the girl he's with.

"Seoeon, what is this?" Mina says, she sounded agitated.

"Oppa, who is this?" The girl asks Seoeon.

Seoeon brushes her off and tells the girl to go wait in the car.

"Mina, whatever you're thinking, you're probably right." He says.

Mina's expression changes.

"I should've done this a long time ago...but I'm breaking up with you." He says.

Mina starts, "Wh-" but Seoeon cuts her off.

"You're boring, Mina. You have no personality. I thought dating an idol would be exciting, but you're not interesting. My parents lied to me. No one wants you." He says, slightly shoving her.

I decide to step in.

"Hey!"

They both turn and look at me.

"Tch. And who's this? You were cheating on me at the same time?" Seoeon says.

"Why do you care? You never loved me anyways. Go tell your parents that you weren't good enough." She turns away, "Goodbye, Seoeon."

Mina grabs my arm and we continue walking back.

I could tell she was frustrated....no, not frustrated, just annoyed.

"Minari," I say.

She slows her walking pace down.

"Those things that he said...you know they're not true." I tell her.

She just blinks at me.

"He doesn't deserve someone as amazing as you. He didn't see your true talent." I go on.

She still didn't acknowledge my words.

"You deserve love, Mina. You deserve appreciation. Don't let some scrub like him get you down."

She lets go of my arm.

"Jimin-ah..." She breathes, "Thank you, but you don't have to comfort me. You're right. He didn't deserve someone like me and he wasn't worth my time."

We finally meet up with everyone else. Mina still looked annoyed.

"Mina-unnie, what's wrong?" Dahyun asks her.

"I'll tell you in the car." She replies.

Our two half-groups part ways once again.

I was riding back to the dorms with the guys.

"What happened with Mina-ssi, Jimin? What did you do?" Tae asks me.

"I didn't do anything wrong."

"Then what happened?" Namjoon joins in, Jungkook also listening.

"Don't go telling everyone about this. I don't think Mina wants to tell anyone." I say.

"We wouldn't do that." Namjoon says.

I exhale, "At the mall, we saw Mina's former boyfriend with another girl."

JK and Tae gasp.

"Mina confronted him right then and there. He said some things that upset her and she broke up with him." I explain.

"All of that happened at the mall?" Tae asks.

"And you just sat there and watched?" Jungkook adds.

"No," I say, "Of course not. I stepped in when that guy tried to shove her."

"He shoved her??" Namjoon says.

"A little."

"Damn. That guy sounds like trash." JK says.

"From what I saw, he is trash." I say.

"At least you were there for her." Namjoon adds.

"Yeah..." I shrug, "there for her."
