Dahmin: Hidden

(Ship requested by Komal___004)

(Concept: Dahyun and Jimin are in high school. They're dating but behind their parents' backs. Their parents are very strict so they have to make sure they don't find out if they want to stay together)

(Jimin POV)

"Bye, Dad, I'm going to hang out with my friends!" I shout into the house on my way out the door.

"Okay. Don't stay out too late!" My dad calls back.

Luckily, my friends are the best, and they always have my back. I'm not going to hang out with my friends. I'm going to see Dahyun. I made an arrangement with my friend group, and they agreed to cover for me if my parents ever ask about me.

Like the other day, I said I was going to hang out with my friends, but I went to see Dahyun again.

My mom was suspicious and asked Taehyung about me. Taehyung said that we hung out at the arcade and then quickly texted the guys to let them know. My mom asked my other friends next, and they all gave her the same response. She had no clue, and my plan worked.

I don't like to lie to my parents, but it's the only way in this situation.

It's the only way we can be together.

My parents don't want me dating, and her parents don't like her being around boys. See what the problem is here?

But at school, our parents can't control what we do. We hang out at school whenever we can, but we can't be all flirty at school. It's kind of against the rules.

That's why I have my friends cover for me. I usually thank them by paying for their food and stuff when we do hang out together. I'm lucky to have friends like them.

But let's talk about Dahyun.

We've known each other for a long time, but we haven't started dating until recently. We've been classmates since middle school, but we really got to know each other last year.

Last year, for whatever reason, I decided to join the school choir. On the first day, they just had us doing warm-ups, but there was this girl playing the piano along with us.

You can probably guess who that was.

I was the only beginner that year, and the teacher asked her to show me the basics. During that first week, we stuck together as most kids stick with the people they know in class rather than being alone.

We got to know each other quickly. We became friends, and I fell for her. I finally confessed my feelings after knowing her for three years. It felt like a relief.

I was happy that we were together, but of course, it doesn't always go as planned.

Today, we planned to meet at the park by school. We both told our parents we were going to hang out with our friends.

I found her waiting for me at the park. From there, we walked to the bus stop and headed for the shopping district.

"Your parents don't suspect anything?" I ask her while we're on the bus.

She shakes her head, "No. I've been really good about hiding it. Like last week, when you gave me your jacket, I took it off and put it in my backpack before I came into the house."

"That's good." I say, "My parents have no clue either. I have to lie sometimes but I think it's for a good reason."

I smile at her, gazing into her eyes. When she realizes she becomes shy and looks down.

She reaches for my hand, which was resting on my leg.

"How long do we have to keep doing this?" She asks.

"Doing what?"

"Hiding from our parents."

I sigh, "Until they're okay with us dating."

"I can't wait that long." She says, "I want everyone to know what an amazing boyfriend I have."

"I know how you feel. But I can't risk losing you. Losing this. I love you too much."

I feel her squeeze my hand, "How are we going to know if they're okay with it if they never know?"

That is a good point. We won't know until they do. But I'm afraid.

"If you want to tell them..."

"Nevermind." She says quickly, "I don't know anymore."

The bus arrives at our stop. I take her hand as we step off, but we continue the conversation.

"What if I introduce you as a friend? What do you think they'll do?" She asks.

"Well..." I shrug, "Seeing that they don't like you being around boys, maybe bring me along with some of your other friends. I think they should see that there's nothing wrong with being friends with the opposite sex before they find out you have a boyfriend."

"You're so smart and thoughtful."

"I'm just speaking my mind."

She hugs my arm as we walk. I was worried from thinking about all of the stressful things, but feeling her touch always put me at ease.

"Jimin?" She calls.

"Hm?"

"If our parents find out, and they don't want us to be together, what are we going to do?"

I chuckle, "We'll still be together, love. No matter how hard things get. I'm not going anywhere."

She suddenly stops and pulls me down to kiss me. I was caught by surprise, but I went along with whatever she was doing.

"W-what was that for?" I ask when she lets me go.

"Sorry. I just thought about possibly losing you, and I couldn't help myself."

I offer my arm to her, kissing her on the cheek, "But I just told you. I'm not going anywhere."

She nods, "I know, but one little kiss won't hurt."

"You're right." I smirk before peppering her face with my kisses.

She starts to laugh uncontrollably, making me laugh along with her.

Finally, she grabs my face with both of her hands and plants a deep kiss on my lips, getting me to stop.

She stares into my eyes, just like I had before. She didn't have to say a word. Her eyes told me.

She loves me.
