(Namjoon POV)

"Welcome home, love. How was your first day back at work?"

She shrugs, "It was okay. Just getting back into the swing of things."

"But you felt alright? Your neck wasn't bothering you?"

"It hasn't been bothering me lately."

I nod, "I'm glad to hear."

Today was Jeongyeon's first day back at work since she started her hiatus. She had surgery for her herniated disc a while back, but she's also been dealing with anxiety.

I'm proud of the progress she's made, but it's hard for me to know she's not feeling completely like herself.

She's been staying with her members so this is the first time she's staying over with me in a while too. I missed having her around.

The night was quiet. We watched TV together for a while before we went to bed. That's when I realized I haven't kissed her all day. I mean, I kissed her when she first got home, but that was it. I made sure to give her a kiss before we got ready for bed.

"It's nice having you around again." I tell her.

"It's nice being with you again." She smiles.

She hugs me tight and I rest my head on top of hers.

"I missed you." She whispers.

In my mind, I told her, "I missed you too", but in reality, I didn't say anything, I just kissed her again.

"It's been a while since we..." I laugh nervously.

She gazes at me with loving eyes, stroking my cheek, "Is that what you want to do tonight?"

I shrug, "Only if you're up to it."

She smirks before kicking the door shut and grabbing me by the collar, pulling me in for a rough kiss. Somewhere in between, she took off my shirt.

"You look different since the last time." She says.

"How so?"

"You seem...stronger."

"You think so?"

She slides her hand down my arm, "It definitely feels like it."

I laugh shyly, "I was hoping you'd notice."

She suddenly hugs me, pressing her cheek against my chest.

"Can we have the lights off?" She mumbles.

"Hm? You want to do it with the lights off?"

She nods.

"Why? You don't want to see me?" I ask, slightly joking.

"That's not it." She says, "It's just...I don't want you to see me like this."

"Like what..?" I didn't understand.

She slowly lets me go, her arms falling back to her sides.

"You're not happy with yourself right now?" I ask.

She nods slowly.

"Jagi-ya," I pull her back into a hug, "I love you so much, you know that, right?"

She nods again.

"And that means I love every single part of you. Your appearance and your personality. I love all of you." I make sure to keep eye contact with her, "If things change over time, so be it. I will always love you."

"I know you love me, Joon." She sighs, "But I'd just be more comfortable this way."

I nod before switching the lights off, "If you say so."

I've never had sex in complete darkness before. It was definitely an experience. I moved slowly trying to find my way around, but when we settled in, it felt amazing. My senses were being used in different ways. I paid attention to the sounds, making me more aroused.
