Sakook: Life
(Ship and concept requested by SK_Enthusiast)
(Concept: Sana and Jungkook are happily married. They have a bright, four-year-old son and they get to take him on his first vacation)
(Sana POV)
My alarm clock went off around six in the morning. I got started with waking the boys up, starting with my Jungkook. It took a few tries to get him up, but he eventually got out of bed. I go over to Seojun's room down the hall. He was still asleep, curled up in a little ball under his blanket. He's so cute.
"Seojun-ah," I whisper, rubbing his arm, "It's time to wake up. We're going on our tip today."
He looked tired since he isn't used to waking up this early.
"Good morning, eomma." He gives me a sleepy smile.
"Good morning, son." I kiss his head, "Are you ready for our trip?"
His eyes opened wide when I reminded him of the trip. He suddenly became excited.
"Are we going to see obāsan and ojīsan?" He asks, jumping out of bed.
"Yes, now let's go! We don't want to keep them waiting."
We were taking Seojun to Japan for a week. We'd spend a few days in Osaka to spend some time with my parents, and then we'd have another short flight to Tokyo where we'll spend the rest of our time.
Jungkook and I wanted to take Seojun to Disneyland in Tokyo. There was a lot I wanted him to see, but it's okay if we don't get to do everything. We still have plenty of time to take him back someday.
Since he started to talk, we've been teaching Seojun both Korean and Japanese. We wanted him to be able to communicate with his family on both sides.
We haven't visited my parents in a while so we thought we might as well stop by during our trip.
Seojun was excited until he realized we had to get on a plane. It was his first time flying so I understood why.
On the plane, he sat in between Jungkook and me. He held onto our hands tight and he was startled by the loud noises. When we were in the air for a while, I showed him the view from the window and he got used to the flight feeling.
We landed in Osaka around ten o'clock and we arrived at my parents' place around eleven. Jungkook carried Seojun out of the cab after he fell asleep. My parents were excited to see us.
"Seojun's getting so big now, he barely fits in your arms." My mom says, "I bet he's going to grow to be tall and strong just like his dad."
Jungkook smiles, staring at Seojun's sleeping face. We spent the rest of the day exploring the city and visiting iconic locations. Seojun really liked the Pokémon center. My parents love to spoil their grandkid; my dad bought him a big plushie without us noticing. Seojun just walked out of the store with it and it surprised me.
"Oh, where did you get that?" I ask.
"Ojīsan got it for me!"
"How are we going to fit that in our luggage going home..." Jungkook says under his breath, not wanting to ruin Seojun's fun.
We'd be staying with my parents for a few days so they set up a spot in the living room for us to sleep and set our stuff. When it was time for bed, Seojun slept right in the middle of us. He fell asleep quickly.
The lights were off, but I could still see Jungkook staring right at me in the dark.
"Good night, baby." He whispers,
"Good night, love." I give him a quick kiss.
When I woke up the next morning, I laughed. Both Jungkook and Seojun were still asleep, but they were facing me. They both had the same expression on their faces: messy hair, cheek squished against the pillow with their mouths slightly open. Seojun is just like Jungkook.
Jungkook hasn't changed much from when we first started dating. Of course, now he's a bit more mature, since he's a dad now and has more responsibilities, but he's still the adorable and charming guy I've always known.
Going on this trip suddenly made me nostalgic. I remembered the day Jungkook proposed to me. How happy my parents were and how happy I was. The day we found out I was pregnant was just as unforgettable. The day Seojun was born was one of the best days of my life. Although it was painful, I cried tears of joy as well.
During our Tokyo visit, we took Seojun to Disneyland like we had planned. Now it was our turn to spoil him.
Some of the rides could only sit two people together and Seojun refused to leave either of us out, so he wanted us to take turns riding with him. He's just so sweet.
His legs became tired after being at the park all day. Jungkook picked him up and let him sit on his shoulders while we kept walking.
"Eomma, when are we going to see obāsan and ojīsan again?" Seojun asks.
I chuckle, hearing him switch from Korean to Japanese like that.
"I'm not sure, baby. Sometime soon hopefully. Why? You're not having fun with us?"
"No..!" He whines, "I am!"
Jungkook just laughs, "Jun-ah, why don't you tell mom what you told me earlier?"
He suddenly becomes shy.
"Don't be shy, it was nice. You can tell her." Jungkook encourages him.
"I think we have the best eomma."
"Aww..." I could be melted by his words.
"Why 'we', Seojun? Tell her that part."
"Eomma takes care of me and appa."
Jungkook smiles proudly, "That's right."
"Oh, I love my boys..!" I hug Jungkook and tickle Seojun who was still on his shoulders.
"I love you, eomma." Seojun says.
"Appa loves eomma too." Jungkook adds.
I swear, they are the same person.
I love spending time with my family. I feel so lucky that I get to live a life with this beautiful family. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
