(Concept by author: this is somewhat of a continuation of the previous Taetzu chapter, so they're dating now and we get to see how their relationship's progressed over a few weeks)

(Taehyung POV)

I glance at my wrist to check the time. It's already four thirty, where is she?

A few more minutes go by until she finally walks out of the door. I feel myself smile as I walk up to her.

"Hi-" she starts to say, but I pull her into a tight hug, "Oh- nice to see you too."

I let her go and kiss her on the cheek, "Sorry, just couldn't help myself."

She rolls her eyes, taking my hand to get us walking.

"You're in a good mood today." She says.

I was planning on telling her later, but since she brought it up...

"Mhm." I nod, "You wanna know why?"

"Why?"

"I got the job."

She stops walking for a second.

"Really? You got it?"

"I got it."

"That's great, Tae!"

I had been looking for a job ever since I stopped working at that coffee shop. I applied at the supermarket down the street from where Tzuyu worked. The jobs I have right now are just temporary, though. I'm working on doing something that'll be better in the long run.

As we explore this relationship together, I realize she brings out the best in me. I've done things I've never done before, but you know what they say, love makes you do crazy things.

When I was flirting with her at the coffee shop, I had no idea she was four years younger than me. She seemed very mature. That didn't seem to be a problem though. It didn't change the way I thought of her.

We haven't kissed since that day. I mean, a real kiss, like, on the lips. I think either of us are just too scared to initiate one. I'm just afraid I won't be able to live up to our first kiss.

We walked back to her place. She was exhausted from work so I offered to make us dinner for the night.

I told myself I was going to make it a point to kiss her at least once tonight. We've been dating for a few weeks, we had our first kiss before an actual date, but I can't manage to kiss her now? I can't accept that.

After a nice dinner, the two of us cleaned up together.

She suggested we watch a movie together, but things escalated before we even turned on the TV.

She pulled me by the arm onto the couch, so I took my chance. I kept leaning forward until she was laying down.

"What are you doing..?" She laughs.

I ran my fingers through her hair, just admiring everything about her.

"You are breathtaking." I whisper.

Our faces were now only a few centimeters apart, getting closer with every heartbeat.

Her hands went up to my neck as she gazes into my eyes.

"Can I kiss you?" I ask.

She giggles, these words sounded very familiar.

"From now on," she whispers, pulling me closer, "You don't have to ask."

Our lips meet, my eyes shut simultaneously. Her kiss sent shivers down my body. I couldn't get enough. I wanted more. We kept going and going.

Eventually, she pushes me away, since we both needed to breathe. My eyes open back up and bring me back to reality. The first thing I see is Tzuyu, breathing hard, flustered, her face tinted red.

I laugh softly. She's adorable.

I kiss her forehead before helping her us sit up.

"What was that for?" She asks, still flustered.

I shrug, "No special reason. I just wanted to kiss you."

"We should do that more often." She says quietly, resting her head on my shoulder.

"Really?" I ask, sarcastically, "You know, you can kiss me too, you don't have to wait for me to make the first move."

She lifts my arm and brings it over her shoulder.

"I'll think about it." She says.

The rest of the night was nice and quiet. She fell asleep halfway through the movie, but I just let her sleep. She works hard, she deserves the rest.

The movie ended and she was still asleep. I shut the TV off, trying not to move so much so I wouldn't wake her up. I knew she was tired, so we were gonna be here for a while. I tried to get comfy and fall asleep as well.

I shut my eyes and dozed off without realizing. When I opened them back up and glanced at the clock, it was almost midnight. Tzuyu had shifted positions just a bit, but she was still asleep.

I stroke her hair until she slowly blinks her eyes back open.

"Good morning." I joke.

"Morning..?" She mumbles.

"Are you planning on sleeping here all night?"

"No... let's go to bed."

I take her hand and we make our way to her bedroom. She climbs into bed and pulls the blanket over herself.

I flick the lights off and walk towards the door.

"Good night, Tzu. I'll see you on Wednesday." I had to head home and I wouldn't be able to see her tomorrow.

"Wednesday? You're not gonna stay with me?"

"I have to get going."

She pouts, "Just one night? Please? I'm not gonna see you tomorrow."

I give in.

"Alright. But I have to leave first thing in the morning."

"I know, I just want to spend more time with you, even if we're asleep."

I climbed into bed next to her. Her bed wasn't the largest, so we were really up close and personal.

In the dark, I felt her kiss my lips gently.

"Good night, Tae." She whispers.

"Good night, Tzu. I love you."

"Love you, too."
