(Concept: Dahyun and Taehyung started dating recently and Taehyung wanted to go on a camping trip together, just the two of them, alone in the woods for three days)

(Taehyung POV)

It's been a couple of weeks since I asked Dahyun to be my girlfriend. We've been doing this thing where we take turns choosing what to do or where to go for dates and it's my turn to pick this time.

I wanted to do something I've never done before. I also wanted to step out of my comfort zone a bit. Dahyun and I haven't been on an overnight trip together so I thought it would be fun to go camping.

We've been planning it out for a while. We had to buy some supplies and borrow some things from friends or family since we've both never done this before.

I did my research and found a nice campground with some hiking trails and lakes.

"It's gonna be cold so pack layers." Dahyun told me the other day.

"Right. Do you want me to bring the blankets?"

"Yes please. I don't think I have room."

We left for our trip early on a Friday. We'd be out for the weekend and we'll head back Sunday afternoon.

We packed everything into my car and started our journey.

"Are you excited? What should we do first?" I ask her.

"Super excited. I think we should set our stuff up first, but I really want to see the lake today."

"We have plenty of time. It's gonna be great."

We got to the campground and started looking for a good spot to set up. Dahyun found a nice, open area surrounded by trees for us to start.

We were allowed to bring the car inside too; I parked it at our spot so we could unload our things.

"Jagiya, could you give me a hand?" Dahyun was trying to set up the tent.

"Coming!" I drop what I'm doing to help her out.

The tent was just the right size for us. It was cozy. I rolled out the sleeping bags inside with all of our blankets and pillows, leaving our bags with our clothes inside.

The sun was out and the weather was perfect.

We left our cooking supplies in the car to unpack later. After we were settled in, we went to go look for some trails.

I glanced over the map, trying to find a trail that leads to the lake. Dahyun trusted me to lead us the right way.

Somehow, we ended up on the side of a huge hill. I could see the lake from where we were, but I had no idea how much longer we had on the trail.

Dahyun's afraid of heights, but she was okay with me. She was doing fine until we got to a narrow path on the hill. It looked like you could slip easily. I could tell this was going to be a problem.

She stopped before we even set foot on that path.

"Dahyun-ah, it's alright. Just look at me, don't look down." I hold my hand out for her.

She looks at me like I said and takes my hand. She was holding onto me tight. Slowly and steadily, we made it across the path.

She sighs, relieved, "Can we find a different trail when we go back?"

"We can do that. But let's get to point A first."

We made it to the lake and the view was incredible. We took off our shoes to wade in the water together. It was refreshing after a long way here.

We returned to our campsite as the sun was starting to go down, just in time for dinner. We worked together to cook for ourselves and enjoyed a nice meal before it got cold out.

After we cleaned up, we changed into some warmer clothes. While Dahyun was changing in the tent, I went to get some extra blankets from my car and spread them out on the roof.

"Taehyung-oppa?" Dahyun was looking for me.

"Jagiya, over here." I call.

She spots me by the car, "What are you doing?"

"Just come here." I smile.

I climb on top of the car.

"Give me your hand." I say.

I help her up and now the two of us were sitting on the roof of my car.

"Now what?" She asks.

"Look up." I lay back on the blanket.

She lies down beside me, her eyes fixed on the sky.

"Woah..." She says under her breath.

"You can't see all these stars in the city."

We were busy stargazing, trying to name all the constellations and find the planets in the night sky.

"I could lie here with you forever." She turns towards me.

I could see the stars' reflection in her eyes.

We kiss under the stars.

I've always wanted to do that.

It started getting late so we decided to call it a night. It was really cold, but we stayed close in the tent to keep warm.

"This was a good call, Tae." She whispers, "You have good taste."

I laugh, "Well, I must have good taste if you're my girlfriend."

She chuckles, moving closer to me, "I love you, Taehyung."

I cup her face in my hand, kissing her forehead, "I love you too."

This was only our first day out here, but we already had so much fun together. I couldn't wait for tomorrow.

Just the two of us and the world.
