(Concept: Yoongi and Nayeon have been dating for a while, but about a year ago, something forced them into a long-distance relationship. The day finally comes for them to reunite again)

(Yoongi POV)

I woke up before the sun even came up. I had gotten my things ready the night before so I could leave as soon as possible. I could barely sleep. I was too excited.

Today was the day. I would finally be seeing Nayeonie again after more than a year. I've been getting my place ready for so long it felt like. Nayeon was moving in with me. Now we can be together all the time.

We planned to take the train and meet up somewhere in the middle. A moving company was supposed to be transporting her things down to my place during that time.

Nayeon has been working in an internship in Changwon. That's why she left Seoul in the first place. She promised she'd be back someday, and that day was finally here.

My train ride was a few hours long. We were supposed to meet up at a station in between.

I knew my reception wasn't the best on the train so I texted her before the departure.

Y: Jagiya

Y: my train's leaving soon

Y: I'll see you in a few hours

I took my seat on the train and put on my headphones. As we got out of the station, I stared out the window.

Before we left the city, Nayeon has texted me back.

N: I can't wait to see you

N: text me when you arrive <3

I smiled to myself reading her messages.

My music tuned out almost all of my thoughts and I fell asleep for a while. When I opened my eyes again, we were only ten minutes away.

I started getting excited again. The train pulls into the station and I was ready to get off. This station was a lot less busier. I got off the train and checked my phone. Nayeon hadn't texted me so I assumed she wasn't here yet. I tried to find a good spot for us to meet.

Y: I'm here :)

Y: I'm waiting by the statue in front of the food shops

I anxiously waited for her to arrive. This would be the first time we're seeing each other in person in over a year.

I kept an eye on my text messages, constantly checking to see how much time has past.

A familiar voice gets me to look up from my phone.

"Yoongi-ah!"

My heart started beating faster.

It was her. She was here.

She comes running to me, hugging me as soon as we were close enough. I squeezed her gently, letting myself melt into her embrace. My eyes fell shut. I missed this.

"It's you. It's really you." I say as we're hugging.

She laughs softly, "It's been that long, huh?"

Eventually, we went to find something to eat and somewhere to sit down. I was exhausted, but I was happy.

"Do you wanna try this place? It looks pretty good. We can share something since these portions look pretty big..." She was speaking to me and I heard everything, but I stood there like an idiot, gawking at her.

I shook myself out of my little trance.

"Are you okay..?" She asks, almost laughing at me.

"Yeah, sorry, sorry." I say, "It's just...you look beautiful."

She becomes shy all of a sudden, "Let's keep looking-"

"Wait-" I grab her wrist before she could walk off.

I pull us together for a kiss. This should've been the first thing I did, but I was too caught up in the moment back there.

It felt like all of the tension left my body. I missed this so much. I missed her so much.

"I had no idea what I had been missing." She breathes.

"Well, you're not gonna have to miss this anymore."

We grabbed something to eat before we had to hop on the train again. This time, we were going together.

I remember when I had to say goodbye when she left for Changwon over a year ago. I didn't want to say goodbye. We knew it was going to be hard, but we stayed together. I knew it would be worth it.

"You ready to go home?" I ask her as we take our seats on the train.

She nods, "Definitely. It's been so long. I can't wait to be living with you..!"

I smiled just thinking about it. Some people might think that Nayeon and I ate complete opposites, but I don't think that's the case. She definitely has a...brighter...personality than me, but we have a lot more in common than you'd think.

I couldn't wait to be able to see her pretty much every day and every night. I felt empty sleeping on my own all these nights.

This is the first time we'd be living together, but we used to spend the night together sometimes before she left for Changwon.

We would stay up watching movies or watching old music videos or just talking about anything. I missed those days.

I felt like a different person when I was with Nayeon. She makes me so happy. I hope she sees how much she means to me.

We took several busses from the train station back to my, er...our neighborhood. Her stuff wasn't here yet so we had time to catch up.

"Wow. I see you've changed a few things." She says as she walks in.

"Yeah...some things needed an upgrade, but I kept the important things in tact."

She walks over to the shelf next to the TV. I knew exactly what she was looking at.

She smiles to herself, "I'm glad you kept these in the same spot."

She had her eyes on the photo we took on our first trip together. Right next to that was the folded paper crane she gave to me in class so long ago. The day she gave me that crane was the day I realized I had a crush on her.

"It's a good spot." I explain, "I see it every morning when I walk out of my room and every night when I walk back in."

"You're so thoughtful. I might have to add a few things to this shelf once my stuff gets here, that's okay, right?"

"Of course, of course."

I take her hand.

"This is your home too."
