"Hindi po ba muna tayo kakain ma'am?" I snapped out of my thoughts when my driver speaks, I look at the time and realized it's already 5 in the morning. 

"Nasaan na po tayo?" I asked, looking around and trying to recognize the road. 

"San Pablo na po tayo ma'am." he replied, I slowly nod and sat up straight. 

"Drive through nalang tayo kuya, any fast food will do." I said, I saw my driver nod before I once again slouched down on my chair. My driver is probably hungry already and I'm too occupied with my thoughts that I didn't noticed the time. 

We took the drive through to the fast food chain we saw which is McDonald's, I ordered a breakfast meal for my driver while I just got myself a McFlurry since Theo gave me food for breakfast. We parked by the parking where we ate our breakfast. I'm staring at nowhere, mind still blank but feels crowded at the same time. When my driver finished eating, we head back on the road while I still eat at the back. 

By 6AM, we arrived at Manila, I asked the driver to stop by a gasoline station first since I need to use the restroom and I need to message or call Sam first. 

"Hello? We're here in Manila na, just stopped by a gasoline station, are you fully awake and functioning now?" I asked Sam, I'm still outside the can and taking a fresh air since I am starting to feel suffocated inside the van. 

Sam chuckled, [Yes, I already did, I just finished washing the dishes I used for breakfast. Ikaw ba? Kumain kana? I can cook for you if you want.] he ask and I shake my head. 

"I already ate, we will be there in less than 10 minutes." I said and he hum, 

[Sure, sure, I'll be waiting by the lobby.] he said and I just hum as response before ending the call. 

"Kuya, lets go na." I called our driver who's also taking a fresh air, we went inside the van and I told my driver the direction for the condominium building. In less than 10 minutes, we're already in front of the building and I saw Sam stand up from a sofa and went out the building. 

"Hey, good morning." He immediately greet me the moment I step out of the van. 

"Good morning," I replied while trying to get my bag from my chair, 

"I'll get that for you," he said and reach out for the bag, I glared at him as he handed me the bag. 

"Thank you," I grumpily said before walking pass by him and entering the building. 

I crossed my arm and watch him and my driver to bring the luggage inside. I slightly tap my feet on the tiled floor while my arms are crossed and watch the two of them. 

"We need more help from the other staff of the building, ang dami mo dala na gamit." he said when he stopped in front of me, holding two humongous luggage on both hands. 

"Then let's call for help." I said and faced the receptionist by the counter. 

"Good morning miss, I'd like to ask for assistance, we need to get my things by our unit." I told the lady at the receptionist, she nodded and smiled before calling someone by the telephone and soon, 2 men helped my driver to get my other luggage form the van. 

"Tired?" I look at Sam who's beside me and leaning by the counter, 

I shake my head, "Not really, slight but I don't feel so tired." I replied and he nods, looking at front, watching the staffs get my things inside. 

"Can you unpack these things after we get them upstairs or do you want me to unpack them for you?" he ask and I slightly tilted my head while looking at him, arms still crossed and eyes slightly squinted. 

"Can you even do that?" I asked, he finally faced me and flash a smile.

"Of course, I've gone better in terms of unpacking, I already unpacked my things. Nasa cabinet na ang damit mo, I already saved space for your clothes." he said and I rolled my eyes before nodding and looking at front. 

"Fine, let's go." I said when I saw my driver close the door of the van which means all of my things are out. 

We took the elevator to get to the floor of our unit, it was a tough time getting all of my things inside but they were able to make it. 

"Una na po ako ma'am," I heard my driver said, I look at him and nod, "Salamat kuya, ingat ka sa biyahe." I said and he smiled before closing the door, leaving me and Sam alone. 

A sigh escaped my lips before I walk towards the grey couch and drop myself on the soft fabric. 

"I thought you're not tired? You seem tired with just that sigh." I said Sam said from wherever he is. 

I rolled my eyes and sat up on the couch, "I'll be sleeping, you unpack for me." I said and stand up before walking to the door of the bedroom. 

I hear him chuckled as I enter the room, I closed the door and remove my shoes, throwing them wherever on the floor, removing my sling bag from my body and flopping down on the bed. I immediately inhaled his scent which means he slept here last night. I tuck myself in the soft blanket and look around the door, there's a big TV, speakers, tables, even a study table and some paintings on the wall. He did a great job decorating the room. 

The moment I wake up, confusion immediately drawn on my face as I hear noises inside the room, I sat up on bed, eyes still half closed while trying to see what's happening inside the room. 

"Good morning-- I mean afternoon, it's 1PM na, let's eat lunch?" I hear Sam's voice, after few more seconds my vision finally became clear. 

"Why are you holding my bag of underwear?" I asked, pointing at the bag he's holding, he look at the bag before looking back at me and smiling, 

"I'm unpacking your things. Hindi ko siya natapos kanina kasi nagluto pa ako ng lunch natin, itinutuloy ko lang ngayon habang hinihintay ka na magising." he replied before walking towards the closet and probably putting my underwear at the closet. 

"Don't worry, I bought baskets to separate your upper underwear and lower undewear and for the socks too." I said from the closet, I face palmed and massaged my temples before jumping out of bed and following him inside the closet. 

"Akin na," I said and snatch the bag from his hand, but sadly, it's already empty and he have already transferred my panties at the basket. 

"Done na, that's the last thing to do, all your clothes are here, your bathroom essentials in the bathroom, I saw your snacks so I put them sa pantry, just ask me when you're looking for something." he said, I glared at him before marching out of the walk-in-closet. When I went back to the bedroom, that's when I saw my luggage already arranged by the side. 

"Iniisip ko nalang kung saan ko ilalagayng 'yang mga 'yan, yung akin kasi ay nasa itaas ng closets, but don't worry about that, ako na nag bahala." he said as he come out from the closet. 

"Gutom kana ba?" he asked me before reaching for the back in my hand that I gave him, 

"Let's eat? Hindi pa ako kumakain, I'm waiting for you." he softly said while folding the bag. I scratch the back of my head and nod, he placed the folded bag on the bed before we head out of the bedroom. 

While eating the pork adobo he cooked, that's when I finally see the decorations of the unit. There's posters, vases and flowers around, appliances are completed and even the fridge and pantry is full. Plus the soaps for washing clothes, dishes and cleaning agents for the unit. 

"Do you like it?" he ask, I lifted my head up and nod, "It's good, it's delicious actually." I said before reaching for the glass of water and taking a sip. 

He smiled, "I'm glad you like the food, but I was asking about the unit. We can still do some decorations incase may gusto kang baguhin." he said and my lips slightly parted, I slowly nod and once again look around the unit. 

"It's all good, I have no motivation to do that. Sa susunod nalang siguro." I said and he hums, we continue eating and after that, I volunteered to put the dishes inside the dishwasher while he's just watching me form the tall chairs by the kitchen island. 

"What should we do now?" he asked when I have finally out the dishes by the dish rack. 

I put the towel that I used to wipe my hands and shrug, "I don't know, fuck?" 

"Louise!!" He screamed which made me burst out laughing, when I saw his face, it made me laugh harder since his face looks so shocked and amused. 

"I was kidding," I said and walk pass by him, "Masyado mo akong sineseryoso, my whole life is a joke, Sam." I said and sat down on the couch, reaching for the TV remote and turning the screen on. I saw Sam enter the bedroom while I continue watching.

"Louise, your phone is ringing." he said when he went out the bedroom, holding my phone, 

"It says, 'Inin'." I immediately rush towards him and snatch the phone from him before going by the kitchen and answering the call. 

"Hey!! Sorry kakagising ko lang, napagod kasi ako sa biyahe, kaya nakatulog agad ako pagdating ko sa condo." I immediately explained when I answered the call, 

I hear Inin giggle, [Kalma ka lang, nag-explain ka agad, kakamustahin lang kita, nagising pa tuloy kita.] he said from the other line, a small smile crept on my lips. 

"Okay, I thought magagalit ka eh." I said, biting my lower lip, leaning by the kitchen counter. 

[Bakit naman ako magagalit? Pero nag-aalala ako, siyempre, 1AM pa yung message mo sa akin, malapit nang mag alas tres, wala pa akong balita mula sayo. Nag-aalala ako pero hindi ako galit, kahit kailan hindi ko magagawang magalit sayo.] he said, his voice got softer which made me smile wider and brought butterflies in my stomach. 

"Okay, don't worry hindi mo naman ako nagising, nakahiga nga lang ako kanina eh. Tsaka okay lang ako dito, maganda naman yung condo." I said, biting my lower lip and slightly fidgeting with my hair. 

[Talaga? Magpapaload ako sa susunod ng may data para makapag video call tayo. Tour mo naman ako diyan, virtual nga lang.] he said, finishing his sentence with a giggle which made me giggle too. 

"Sure sure, pwede rin kitang dalhin dito if you want." I said, can't help but to smile. 

[Hindi na, nakakahiya tsaka hindi naman tama na pumunta ako sa tinitirhan mo lalo na kung tayo lang. Mag date nalang tayo, sa Wednesday nga pala, luluwas na ako diyan sa Maynila, may apartment na akong matutuluyan, huwag kang mag-alala.] he said and another smile escaped my lips. Gosh, I can't help smiling while talking with him and hearing his voice. 

"Sure sure, mag-iingat ka." I said, 

[Siyempre naman, ikaw din, mag-iingat ka diyan. Magpahinga ka pa, alam ko naman na pagod ka, bye.] he said, 

I smiled, "Bye," I said and ended the call. 

"You'll bring him here? When? Para makaalis ako." I look up as Sam talks, I tilted my head before walking towards him. 

"He won't be going here, he said it's inappropriate for us to be in one room." I said before sitting down on the couch. He sat beside me and I hear him hum. 

"Okay, just let me know if ever, para makapagtago ako, alam mo na, he's your boyfriend, I'm sure magseselos yun kapag nalaman na may kasama kang lalaki sa condo mo." he said, a bit dramatic in my perspective, a scoff escaped my lips before I faced him.

"Ang OA mo," I said and slightly hit his arm which made the both of us chuckle. 

By the next few days, me and Sam started to have a normal routine. I would always wake up by 8am and a breakfast is already served but he's still not eating cause he's waiting for me. I would wash the dishes after which isn't a hard task since I use the dishwasher, for lunch he would cook again while I watch the TV and same goes for dinner. After eating dinner we would eat dessert by the couch while watching a movie. It wasn't a boring routine since that is my daily routine in the province. 

"Sam where did you put the popcorn that I brought here?" I asked while tiptoeing by the kitchen counter to reach the high cabinets where I remember he store our foods, but I can't find the popcorn that Theo gave me. 

"Here," I heard his voice behind me. Until I felt his presence behind and felt his chest hit my back as he reach for the cabinet and the pop corn. I stood there frozen as he still haven't left behin me and closed the cabinet. 

"Is this the one?" he ask, showing me the pack of popcorn the moment I faced him. 

I nod and snatch it from his hand, "Yes," I said and slightly run towards the couch to escape the closeness of our body. 

I sat on the couch while watching a movie, a few minutes later my phone rang, I pick it up without looking by the caller ID. 

"Hello?" I speak, 

[Andito na ako sa apartment, hindi mo pa nababasa yung message ko sayo kaninang madaling araw.] When I heard Inin's voice, my eyes grew wide and I push the phone away to see the caller ID and it's him! 

"Hala nakalimutan ko na ngayon araw ka nga pala pupunta ng Manila! I'm so sorry, Inin. Nag lunch kana ba? Ay 9AM palang pala, what about breakfast? Gusto mo dalhan kita diyan?" I asked with a hint of panic, I hear Inin chuckled from the other line. 

[Hindi na, huwag ka nang magpanic. Kalma ka lang diyan sa condo mo, okay na okay lang ako dito. Tsaka kumain na ako kanina sa bus ng burger, kaya huwag ka nang mag-alala.] he said in a calmi ng and soothing voice. I bit my lower lip and slowly nod. 

"Sure sure, busy ka ba mamayang hapon? Let's go out, my treat!" I said in a cheerful voice, 

[Sige sige, magpapahinga muna ako, nakakapagod yung biyahe.] he answered and I nod, 

"Sure, bye, rest well!" I said with a smile, [Salamat, see you later!] he said, another smile crept on my lips before I ended the call. 

And a second later I hear Sam clear his throat which made me look at his direction, "Lalabas kayo mamaya?" he ask and I nod, 

"Yes,  maybe mga 5PM since magpapahinga pa siya." I replied and he nods, 

"Sure, sure, ihahatid pa ba kita?" he ask again and I shake my head, 

"No, I'll just call a Grab para sunduin ako." I replied and he nods, 

After lunch and after I wash the dishes, I went to the bedroom and take an afternoon nap. My alarm rang by 4PM, excitement rush through my veins while I'm getting ready to see Inin. I put on a pink polo and white pants, paired with a 2-inch heels. I let my hair down and I applied a thin layer of make-up to finish my look. 

"Sam, nasa baba na yung Grab ko, I'll go na." I said as I exit the bedroom and see him watching the TV, 

He nods, "Sure, ingat kayo. Hihintayin ba kita for dinner?" he ask and I immediately shook my head, 

"No, you eat na by yourself, kakain kami ni Inin sa labas." I said and he nods, I exit the unit and went to the lobby where I saw my Grab driver. Inin have already sent me the address of his apartment unit. And as the Grab stopped by front of the building, Inin is already waiting inside. 

"Great, sakay na, so I don't have to call another Grab." I said as I open the door of the car, a smile prints on his lips before he run towards the car and hop in. 

"Kuya sa SM Mall of Asia po." I told the driver, when the car drives off, I faced Inin with a smile on my face. 

"Hey! Kamusta! It's been... 4 days since we last saw each other? I missed you!" I said before reaching forward for a hug, as I hug him, I immediately smell his scent, he used a perfume! 

"You smell nice," I said as I pull away from the hug, I saw how red his face is which made me chuckle. 

"You good?" I asked, "Ano ka ba naman Lory, nanghihina tuhod ko sayo eh, hinay-hinay ka naman sa pagpapakilig sa akin." he said which made me chuckle. 

"Okay, okay, sorry,  but how are you? How's tito?" I asked again, 

"Okay lang ako, okay lang din si papa, tsaka yung apartmeny okay lang din, yung 2 kong kasama sa apartment taga Tagkawayan lang din." he said and my eyes widened, 

"Wow, really!? That's good! They're nice naman diba?" I asked and he nods, 

"Oum, sobra! Ah yung isa pala na anak ng kagawad, medyo masungit pero mabait na medyo snob." he said which made me chuckle, 

"Parang ako lang, ganun?" I ask and he giggled, "Medyo," he replied and I playfully hit him by the arm. 

After minutes, we finally arrived in front of the mall and I paid the driver. Me and Inin first went to a restaurant since I'm already feeling hungry. 

"Ang dami naamn yata nito Lory, mauubos ba natin 'to?" he ask when the waiter started serving the foods we ordered. 

"Of course, I'm hungry na kaya." I said while watching the waiter. Once all our foods are served, me and Inin started eating. 

"May gamit ka na bang gagamitin?" I asked to start a conversation. 

He nods, "Meron na, nakapamili na ako sa Tagkawayan, iniisip ko kasi na baka mas mahal dito sa lungsod." he said and I slowly nod. 

"Ako kasi wala pa, bukas nalang siguro ako mamimili." I said and his head snap up, 

"Hindi kita masasamahan bukas, maghahanap ako ng trabaho." he said and my brows furrowed. 

"You're gonna work while studying?" I ask and he nods, 

"Yes, naisip ko kasi na kakailanganin ko ng pera kahit scholar ako at ayaw ko rin naman humingi lang nang humingi kay papa kaya maghahanap ako ng trabaho kahit waiter lang." he said and I slowly nod, 

We continue talking about our lives, just like how we normally do. This time we're talking and joking around about college. I told him he might be flirting around his classmates. He said he would make friends but not flirt. As he should. 

After eating, we went to a cake shop and I bough a cake for me and him and his roommates. 

"Paniguradong magkakahiyaan pa kami sa cake na 'to." he said while we're waiting outside the mall for the Grab I booked. He's even swaying out intertwined hands in the air which I find cute. 

"It's fine, just share it with them, and enjoy your time together, you three can be friends!" I exclaimed and he slightly giggle. 

"Actually, magkakakilala na talaga kami, kaya nga nakahanap kami ng apartment na para sa aming tatlo lang. Hindi nga lang kami magkakasabay na umalis kanina." he said and I nod, 

"Oh, here's the Grab na, lets go." I said and pull him towards the car. 

The drive on the way to his apartment is silent. We're still holding hands while I'm leaning on his shoulder. 

"Andito na po tayo." The driver announced, I sat up straight and look at him with a pout. 

"See you soon," I said and he smiled before pinching my cheek. 

"See you soon, huwag ka nang ngumuso, magkakausap naman tayo eh." he said and I rolled my eyes, he let go of my hand and exit the vehicle. I waved goodbye to him as the car drives off. 

A sigh escaped my lips as I enter the unit, I closed the door and make sure to lock it. I hear the sound coming from the sound bar as I take a glass of water from the kitchen. It seems that Sam haven't noticed that I'm already here since the sound of the movie he's watching is too loud. I walk towards the couch to see what he's doing, but to my surprise, he's drinking beer!

"We have a beer!? Let me have some!!" I exclaimed which caught his attention and he immediately stood up. 

"Hey, you're back, I didn't noticed, and no, you're not having beer." he said, even though the unit is kinda dark because the only lights that are turned on are by the kitchen, I can see his face is already turning red, it make sense cause there's 4 empty bottles of beer on the floor and 1 that is halfway finish. 

I sigh and crossed my arms, "I'm on legal age to drink, so don't be too strict and let me have some." I said, he scratch the back of his head and pointed at the fridge. 

"There, I ordered while you were away." he said, I nod and went back to the kitchen and open a bottle for myself. I went towards the couch and sat beside him to watch the movie. 

"How's the date?" he ask, eyes still focused on the movie. 

"It was great, I missed him." I said and I hear him scoff, "Of course you do." he said with a bit of sarcasm in his voice, my head snap at his direction and a teasing smile prints on my lips. 

"You're jealous aren't you?" I teased him, he glance at me quickly before turning his attention back to the TV and sigh, "Who wouldn't be? I'm your fiance, we're living together and yet I can never make you happy and smile the way he does."
