Drunk Confessions
October rolled around quickly, and most of my time was occupied with quidditch, homework, and studying for the N.E.W.T's. Vincent continued to write regularly, and his letters were always written on expensive parchment with a rich fountain pen. Oliver was training his team just as hard as I trained mine, and it was a neck and neck competition with him, each of us determined to win.
Lori had finally let us make her dorm room a place to hang out. It wasn't overly large, but it was spacious for a dorm room. There was a twin-sized bed in the corner, a large iron-barred window, and a table cluttered with textbooks and used parchments. There was also a row of bookshelves filled mostly with muggle sci-fi books. The floor was carpeted unlike all other dormitories, and an owl cage stood next to her closer. Her closet was small, but every item of clothing looked like something straight out of a muggle coming-of-age movie.
I was in the air on my broom, observing my team with a clipboard. Liane was really good. I had charmed a few bludgers to fly at her and avoid everyone else, and she was hitting them all perfectly. I had high hopes of winning the cup and rubbing it in Oliver's face. I glanced down at the ground again.
The quidditch pitch was empty with the exception of a small dot next to a bush holding something. I quickly grabbed the binoculars on my neck and put them to my eyes. What I saw was Oliver Wood standing with his own pair of beaten binoculars, clearly aware I noticed him.
I turned my broom and sped to where he stood, not giving him time to run away. My feet hit the ground mere feet away from him, and the front of my broom almost grazed his stomach.
"Hello, Stone," Oliver regarded me.
"What are those?" I pointed at the binoculars hanging on his neck.
"Oh, those?" He looked down, "Dunno how they got there."
"Spying has become one of your newest hobbies, has it?" I snickered.
"I needed to observe what not to do in future games." Oliver shrugged, "Ever heard of learning from others' mistakes?"
"Focus on your own shit Woody," I sneered.
There was a small not book opened against his chest, and I recognized it as the gift I gave him last Christmas.
"And I'll take that," I grinned, snatching it from his hands and looking it over.
A barely started strengths and weaknesses chart was scrawled messily on the parchment. I took my pen and clicked it open.
"Here let me help you with this." I offered mockingly.
"Give that back!" Oliver tried to grab it from my hands.
"Of course," I said, not before writing none in big letters on the page.
"Haha, very funny Stone." Oliver pursed his lips, taking it back.
"I know," I smiled sweetly.
"You're a little minx, you know that?" Oliver chuckled, shaking his head.
"I haven't the slightest clue." I giggled, rising back in the air.
"Take care Stone!" He waved after me, making me blush, and although I didn't turn back around, I wondered if perhaps I made him blush as well.
No of course not, Oliver never gets flustered around me, and not to mention I have a boyfriend who is leagues above him. I mean Vincent is a gorgeous pro quidditch player drooled over by the majority of England's witches.

"I'm tired of studying." June groaned, dramatically slamming her book shut as we sat on the floor of Lori's dorm.
It was already late evening, and the outside we could see through the window was pitch black.
"I'm inclined to agree with June." I nodded, "For once, studying for N.E.W.T's is not how I want to spend my Friday evening."
"I mean they are months away," Sarah said.
"I've got something in mind," Lori said excitedly.
She muttered a spell, and a small hidden door threw itself open in her wall, revealing shelves stacked with bottles of fire whisky and Hogshead brews most likely filled from the tap.
"Oh Lori, zis eez magnifique!" Liane clapped her hands. "I was worried you all were too, how you say..."
"Goody two shoes?" Lori giggled.
"Oui!" Liane clapped happily.
"Accio beer," I said, and caught a cold bottle that flew at me. "This shit is refrigerated too?"
"Put a light freezing charm on it myself." Lori beamed.
"I keep forgetting you're not little miss perfect." June snickered.
Everyone grabbed themselves a beer and started to drink. It was not long before we were all tipsy because June insisted we all slam down a bunch of fire whisky shots.
"Too weak for the challenge?" June challenged Liane.
"Non," she huffed. "Pass me ze whiskee."
Sarah poured her four shots into little glasses she conjured up.
"Three, two, one," the four of us chanted.
Liane wasted no time, and down each shot with the speed of a veteran drinker.
"Fini!" She yelled in french, slamming down the last shit glass and tumbling backwards.
"Your turn June." I snickered.
"Easy." She shrugged and poured herself four shots as well. "Watch and learn."
She did not drink them as quickly as Liane, pausing to take breaths of air in between each one.
"Liane stands the clear winner." I laughed, "you suck."
"Oh yeah," June swayed slightly in my direction, already clearly affected by the alcohol, "You do it."
"Yeah, Y/n," Lori chimed in, "I wanna see the quidditch captain wasted."
"Bet." I grinned. "Pour me some."
Lori quickly filled up the already used shot glasses.
"On record, I was not expecting myself to get wasted tonight." I put my hands up, before grabbing my fist shot glass
"Three, two, one!" my friends shouted, and I plugged my nose, downing my first shot.
I barely paused before grabbing the second one and doing the same thing. The scorching went down my throat, giving it a pleasant burn in the process. The third one took a little more effort for me, but I got it down in seconds, and my fourth one I drank so quickly I almost choked.
"Damn bitch," June giggled, "since when do you drink like a pirate?"
"Since today." I said, feeling the room start to feel a sort of lightheadedness, "Aye Sarah, it's your turn."
"I'm a head girl, I can't just-" Sarah paused, "Oh fuck it just this once."
"That's my girl!" June shouted, flinging an arm around Sarah's shoulder as her girlfriend poured herself the shots.
Sarah took some time drinking her shots, and I could see her start to swing to and fro after her third shot.
"Shit..." she murmured, gasping for air, "should've... eaten... butter."
"Loree, eet eez your turn!" Liane pointed dramatically at Lori, letting out a giggle.
"Saved the best for last." She grinned, filling up her shots. "I've won a few of these in my day."
"Prove it." I crossed my arms, feeling them become relaxed.
"No problem," she said and gulped four shots down in three seconds. "See?"
"Holy shit." June cocked her head back, looking blankly at the ceiling.
We sat there idly chatting, letting the alcohol kick in. Within the next hour, I could feel the room floating around me, and my mood was lifted and giggly. June and Sarah seemed all over each other, while Lori, Liane and I chatted about nothing of importance. Suddenly Lori broke our tranquillity with an announcement.
"I've got just the thing to spice things up." She grinned, pulling out a bottle of clear liquid.
"Is that vodka?" I groaned, my joints feeling heavier.
"Better," she grinned, "Vitraserum."
"Holy fuck," Sarah leaned forward, "How'd you get this stuff."
"I have my ways," Lori giggled, "Who's up for a game of truth or dare?"
And thus the game began. But not before another round of beers was passed out to each of us.
"Hey Lori," June gave a devilish smirk, "truth or dare?"
"I ain't no pussy," Lori boasted, "Dare."
"I dare you to give Y/n a nice kiss on the lips." She laughed villainously.
"I'm fine with it if you are," Lori turned to me and smirked
"I don't see why not," I shrugged, watching her scooch closer.
Lori's face inches away from mine, I could see the drunk blush on her cheeks, and I was sure she can see mine as well. Her lips pressed against mine quickly and gently. They were exceptionally soft, and I could taste her cherry chapstick. It was unlike kissing any guy, and although I felt no romantic connection to Lori, the kiss was comfortable and effortless. She pulled away just as gently, and I felt myself smile.
June, Liane, and Sarah wolf-whistled.
"You're a good kisser," I remarked, "Elio is one lucky lad."
"As is Vincent," Lori said, trying to high-five, and missing my hand so badly she hit June across the arm. "Shit, sorry."
"The game is off to a strong start." I grinned, falling back, my back hitting the side of Lori's bed.
"June, truth or dare?" Lori asked, waddling back into her original sitting place.
"Dare." June challenged.
"I dare you to spend the rest of the game in just your bra," Lori said mischievously.
"Want to see me undress that bad, huh?" June snickered, pulling off her shirt in one swift motion revealing the black lace bra underneath, "Don't worry, I don't blame you."
After more and more questions came into the game, everyone ended up end up shirtless, and Liane even ended up without her pants as well. With the help of Vitraserum, we found out about Lori's fear of spiders, Liane's commitment issues, and June's secret tattoo of the moon on her inner thigh. Mixed with the amount of alcohol we were drinking, I would say that we were having a blast was an understatement.
By that point, the room was spinning, and I could feel myself forgetting what I had done a second prior.
"Hey Y/n," Lori slurred, "Truth or dare?"
"Truth," I said, feeling my eyelids sag.
"Do you like anyone other than Vincent?" Lori began to laugh.
"No, of course," I said instinctively.
"Ah, ah," Lori shook her finger in my face, "Vitraserum."
"Do not cheat ma jolie fille." Liane giggled.
"Sure," I said, taking a small swig of the clear liquid, feeling it taste of nothing.
"Do you like anyone other than Vincent?" Lori asked again, and Liane started to snort with laughter.
The words that left me were involuntary and made me startle.
"I like Oliver Wood, and I'm scared I like him more than Vincent," I said clearly, without the drunkness I experienced moments before.
"Nofuckingway." June slurred her words together. "Icalledit."
"Y/n, that's so int-" Sarah started to slur, "Oh shit I'm gonna hurl."
She stood up, nearly falling back down and stumbled over to the bathroom, followed by June, who chose the method of crawling to get there.
"Oh dntworryaboutit-" Lori grunted, "I havethesamethingfordefenseagainstthedsrkartsprofessors."
For some reason at that moment I felt the situation to be overly funny, and couldn't stop myself from clutching my stomach with laughter. The room was spinning more now, and I could feel myself fade in and out of consciousness, periodically hearing Sarah and June throwing up in the toilet. My vision doubled, and all I could see before going completely unconscious on the floor of Lori's room was her owl doubled, napping peacefully on her post.
