NOTE:
+ Commuter-based villages: villages having a large proportion of inhabitants who are commuters.
+ Commuter: person who lives in the village but earns their living elsewhere.
+ Home county: adjacent counties surrounding Great London ( >=100km from the heart of London )
* British people’s character: cold, reserved, not open, less cheerful than other people.
* Climate affects British people: cold weather & cloudy, foggy condition
→ keep people indoor most of the time → not used to outdoor social life → not open
* Commuter-based village society leads to a decline of essential facilities & service :
+ Most of time they do not live in villages → not need essential facilities
+ Local villagers are squeezed to leave for the edge of the village.
