- Pressure from parents
Parents want their children to attend famously gifted school -> put tons of pressure on their children's shoulders -> lead to some bad subsequences ( stress, depression)
(Pressure from parents The appropriate amount of pressure will motivate students to work harder -> make their studying progress develop efficiently)
- Society unfairness
Some large companies set a high priority for students from selective school when they need to hire staff. It reduces the job opportunity of the real talents, who may not have learned in those kinds of school.
(Almost all students from gifted schools are good students. Therefore they deserve to have a good job after graduating. Other students will have to prove their ability to the employer if they want to get a job)
- Discrimination
Some students from famous selective schools think that they are better than any students who can't enter their schools. On the other side, students in normal schools consider all of the gifted students as braggarts and do not show positive attitudes towards them.
(You shouldn't say that. Some particular cases can't be generalized to all students. There are a lot of gifted students have a very close friendship with ones in other schools. The gap between selective school and normal school is nothing if students in those schools don't want it to be a thing)
- High tuition fee
Large selective schools often require a lot of money for high-quality teachers, high technological teaching aids,... There are a lot of students can't afford it, and it creates an invisible obstacle between poor-but-good students and the advanced knowledge.
(Of course, you have to pay more if you want to study with more modern and advanced technology. However, selective schools provide poor students with a lot of good treatments. They just need to try their best, show off their real ability and they will get big scholarships)
