I generally don't offer formatting as a service because it's time-consuming and I don't have one of the expensive programs most authors/designers use to create professionally formatted books. I have Word, which is expensive enough on its own. However, that doesn't mean you can't create a final print book manuscript that's professional-looking with Word. I do it for my books and I've done it for a few authors who are close friends because they'll put up with the trial and (numerous) errors that occur when trying to format a book in Word. 

Word isn't meant for book formatting, it wasn't created for it so it's a definite learning curve. It takes practice and patience to format in Word. Things will work fine eighty times, then the eighty-first time it will cause errors, that's simply how Word works lol. 

This is a page from Vicki-Ann Bush's book Unthreaded (available on Amazon). I did the formatting for her, including the title heading image and the scene break images. There were drop caps, but they're difficult to control in Word and honestly, more trouble than they're worth so we cut them.
