Dance practice
Hi, I'm Chi and I’m in 9th grade. Today, I was practicing dancing because on February 10th, the vice principal is throwing a Spring Camp party. Every class has to perform a flash mob, which sounds fancy, but honestly, I think I’ll just be the guy in the back of the crowd of Dat Phuong Nam. My dance skills are pretty terrible—I can't move as smoothly as everyone else. I practiced four songs but mostly just danced to the Dat Phuong Nam one. During class, we went outside to the yard to practice our dance moves. It took forever to get the choreography for Nam Quoc Son Ha right, but honestly, I didn’t really care. My classmate Han and I snuck behind the chemistry lab window to spy on the teacher and the math team student. We were busy trying to solve a super complicated geometry problem on the board when Han suddenly said:
- Hey, Mr. Huy is drawing some kind of magic spell on the board.
- Bro, isn't that just a spell that’s been missing for ages? I joked.
Yen then asked us,
- What are you guys doing?
- Shh! I whispered, raising my finger to my lips, trying to be sneaky.
Yen was curious and slowly tiptoed closer. Chi peeked through the door to see better, but as soon as the teacher turned around, we dove behind the wall like ninjas. Yen ran off, probably after realizing we weren’t exactly invisible.
