A lot of housework have to be completed each day. In my family, everybody shares the household duties so everything is done well at the end of the days. Both my mom and dad work to contribute to the family finances and help with the housework. My mum often shops for groceries and does the cooking. She loves cooking and cooking is her strong point. My dad is very busy so he doesn't have much time for housework. He isn't a very strong man but he is good at mending things. He is just like the best engineer in my family whenever our household appliances break although he is a doctor. My elder brother, a considerate person, sweeps and mops the house and sometimes takes out the rubbish. He seems to be very satisfied with the work, he likes watching the house brightly clean. I'm responsible for the laundry, ironing and washing-up. Sometimes my brother and I exchange the work for each other, he does the washing-up and I take out the rubbish. Before the meals, we lay the table together and we usually talk about our days at the dinner. By dividing household chores, everyone is happy. We have more time for relaxation and more time to be together.
