Chapter 15: Train Journey.

Faye Peraya promised herself that she would not drink too much anymore. The consequence of drinking too much was that that night, the taxi took Yoko and Faye home, and the entire time in the car, the two of them did not speak to each other. When they arrived at Yoko's apartment, she said goodbye and went upstairs. When Faye got home, she immediately fell asleep. Even Yoko's text asking if she had arrived home, she only liked it and did not reply. The next morning, when she woke up, remembering everything that had happened yesterday, Faye felt like she had lost all dignity.

Yoko's eyes looked at Faye at that time, angry but more sad.

During the next three days, the crew had to prepare for the outdoor scenes so they took a three-day break. During those three days, Yoko did not text Faye this. Normally, because of that ridiculous agreement, she would more or less always text Faye. Sometimes she would send something cheerful, sometimes she would take pictures of the food and ask if it was delicious. Sometimes she would even dare to text Faye to ask if she missed her.

Yet for three days she hasn't sent a single message. She's really angry. Faye sighed every time she thought about it.

However, the tight schedule of the film crew did not give Faye the opportunity to relax and reflect on herself. Today she had to pack up and follow the film crew to shoot outdoor scenes. The film crew went big, renting an entire train for the crew to follow and film scenes right on the train as it traveled across the country.

The immediate schedule will be to go to two northern provinces first, for a week-long outdoor shoot. The crew will almost finish filming the first part during this trip. Then return to the city to prepare, and continue to the southern provinces to film the second part.

When Faye and Nhan arrived at the station where the film crew was gathering to prepare to board the train, Faye saw Yoko standing under a nearby tree with an umbrella, waiting for everyone to arrive. Faye let Nhan prepare herself, and she walked over to Yoko. Before coming here, she bought a small piece of apple cake, knowing that Yoko liked apple flavor. As soon as she approached her, Faye handed the cake box to her.

Contrary to her usual composure, this time Faye was a bit shy when giving her the cake. Yoko was surprised and widened her eyes. She slightly raised her umbrella to shield Faye from the sun, then waited to see what she was going to say.

But Faye didn't say anything, she came to give the cake just to give the cake, then stood there silently.

Yoko held the box of cake in her hand, lost and laughed: "How did you know I like apple flavor?"

"You mentioned it in an interview, so I remember. The cakes here are delicious." Faye reached up to take the umbrella, so her arm wouldn't get tired. "I also bought you some juice, it's in the basket, so I'll give it to you when we get on the train."

Yoko smiled at the person holding the umbrella for her. It was obvious that she was using the simplest way to apologize so that Yoko would stop being angry. And although Faye didn't say anything more about what happened that night, Yoko was no longer angry, she had never been angry with anyone for too long. Taking Faye's cake, she walked to a nearby bench and sat down, Faye also took the umbrella and followed her. Yoko took out a small blue rechargeable handheld fan from her bag, turned it on and fanned Faye to cool her down from the hot sun.

Faye patted Yoko's head. They both looked at each other.

The crew rented the entire train, so even though the filming space was only on the train, it was very spacious and there was no need to jostle with other guests. The entire production team was with the crew, even communication expert Danny was on the trip this time. As soon as Danny appeared and nodded to her, Faye immediately felt that this was not an easy trip. Because this older sister often made strange requests for Faye and Yoko to be closer to each other.

As soon as she thought about it, Faye and Yoko received a request to share a VIP room with two beds. Only the two of them were staying there, while their assistants were assigned to the room next door. Faye looked at the fully furnished VIP room and felt that the film crew really cared about the actors. The two parallel beds were covered with white sheets, and the table in the middle had a vase of fresh flowers and a few bottles of mineral water. The window facing outside had curtains, making it look very clean and airy. Above, there was an air conditioner, lights, fans, and power outlets. It was very complete compared to a normal passenger train compartment.

Yoko put her pink suitcase under the bed, then sat on the bed and looked at Faye.

"I never expected that the first time I slept in the same room with you would be on a train."

Yoko put the cake and juice Faye bought for her on the table, then as if she had prepared it for a long time, she took out a pink bed sheet to cover her bed and a blue one to cover Faye's bed.

As she did so, she whispered that she had been preparing for a long time and that she was doing this to keep the room cleaner. Faye smiled as she helped her sister tidy up the room.

"So where do you think we would sleep if it was your first time sleeping with me?" Faye boldly joked with her, saying that while pulling her shirt to make Yoko sit right next to her.

Yoko answered while opening an apple pie, "Of course, in some scenes."

"Haha, according to the schedule, the scene where the two characters sleep together is still a long way off." Faye habitually opened a bottle of water and took a tissue to wipe her hands. Then she rested her chin on her hand and watched Yoko eat apple pie.

Yoko ate a piece of cake and then scooped another spoonful of cake for Faye: "Do you still remember the schedule? So when will we film the intimate scene?" Yoko reminded slyly, she still hadn't forgotten about the night before.

Faye smiled a little shyly, continued eating the cake Yoko fed her and chatted.

"I just forgot once."

"I clearly never thought about it."

"Yeah, yeah, I'll ask myself about that."

"I've memorized the Agreement and the Script. You should too."

"Why did you memorize that 16+ agreement? It's clearly very difficult for you to do it..."

"It's hard but we have to do it."

"A straight girl like you speaks so easily."

"I'm straight, I'm not afraid, so what are you afraid of?"

Nhan felt like she had gone to the wrong compartment, looked back at the room number on the door and rubbed her eyes. It was clearly Faye and Yoko's room, but why did it feel like a newlywed couple's room? Cake, soft drinks, vase of flowers, pink sheets, the bride and groom sitting next to each other, one feeding the cake, the other smiling innocently, resting her chin on her hand, looking at the other. The other bed was empty, the other bed was sitting close together. The two chatted happily back and forth.

The arm that was about to pull down Nhan's room door lowered, taking a step back. Just looking through the small round glass door, she could already feel the strange atmosphere filling the air. Now asking Nhan to push the door open and enter, she didn't have the courage. Suddenly being stuffed with a pile of rice like that made her feel a bit choked. Glancing again, she saw Faye's eyes smiling like the sun, watching Yoko talk. For a second, Nhan thought she had mistaken the person.

Deciding to retreat back to her room, Nhan waited for herself to calm down a bit before texting Faye that director Wan asked them to gather to film a few scenes before the train departed.

The director took advantage of the entire filming schedule and asked Faye and Yoko to film a few scenes before the train departed. These scenes were not difficult and did not have much dialogue. After about two hours of filming, the whole crew boarded the train at noon to depart. This first trip would last four hours before reaching the first stop.

Not all of the crew were on board, a group of logistics staff had already arrived at the first stop to prepare in advance and wait for the crew to arrive.

During this outdoor performance, Faye finally had a scene with the supporting couple of the film. Ize and Marisa are two new rising actresses from Galaxy. Marisa is close in age to Yoko, while Ize is the same age as Faye. Galaxy is a big investor, so it was only natural that they would bring in their own talent to take both the main supporting roles. Moreover, their roles were not as important as Faye and Yoko's, so they wouldn't have too much trouble.

Ize is a quiet person, with quite sharp and profound eyes. She plays the role of a girl traveling with her lover, who wants to break up with her lover on this trip due to psychological problems. Marisa is younger, she plays the role of Ize's lover, knowing that her lover has psychological problems, she always acts cheerful, takes her out to share and relieve her sadness. These two characters first meet Faye and Yoko's characters on the same trip.

Marisa, true to her character and age, is a very cheerful girl. As soon as Marisa saw Faye, she immediately rushed to hug her waist.

"Sister Faye, I finally get to act with you." Marisa shouted, causing the entire train car to look back.

Her action caught Faye off guard. Faye smiled shyly and politely patted Marisa on the shoulder: "Hello. Today I get to act with you and Ize."

Faye looked at Ize and nodded. The three of them had known each other since the press conference. They hadn't filmed any scenes together before, so they had only worked together since these scenes on the ship.

Marisa didn't think much of it, but Ize was very perceptive. She pulled Marisa away from Faye and talked about the filming schedule to distract Marisa. Yoko was nearby the whole time. She pretended not to see Marisa hugging Faye and started talking about work with everyone.

Director Wanwan started filming scenes with all four actors. At first, it was a bit awkward, but gradually the four of them started to get used to it and act on schedule. As they went through more scenes, Yoko realized that Marisa was a cheerful person, she liked to hug everyone, especially the older girls like Faye and Ize.

Because they are close in age, Marisa and Yoko get along very well, especially when it comes to things related to their youth.

Rotating around like this, in a flash, four hours had passed on the train, and the train was about to stop at its first location. The producer had planned and contacted the station in the first province the crew would arrive at in advance. Tonight, the train would stop at a railway track of the station. That place would also be a place with few people passing by, so the crew would rest on the train and film the necessary night scenes.

Even though the train had stopped, the crew was still busy arranging and processing work for the night scenes. The four main actors were sitting in a meeting with the director, assistant director, and Danny in the cafeteria area of the train. Everyone else left the cafeteria at Wan's request. This entire train would become the workshop location.

This small workshop was dedicated to instructing the actors on the scenes of arguing and fighting. Because according to the script, when they first got on the ship, all four characters had their own problems, had disputes and were not satisfied with each other. The roles of Faye and Yoko were especially difficult. Faye's role was extremely difficult and her profession was that of a lawyer, so she never gave in to anyone when arguing. Yoko's role was that of a straightforward young person. The two characters started out as strangers and then fell in love, requiring a lot of acting and arguing scenes.

Director Wan made a very difficult request: Faye and Yoko had to act out a scene where they argued with each other. They had to think of any situation and yell at each other. This request made Faye feel awkward and very reluctant. But with no other choice, she and Yoko began to communicate back and forth, the content of the improvisation was quite harsh and not as light and cheerful as usual.

Faye tried to get into character, started to change her gaze, and said coldly: "Who do you think you are?"

"You're not right," Yoko stubbornly argued back. Her eyes were red, but she still frowned fiercely at Faye.

Faye smirked, sat down on the chair cross-legged, arms crossed over her chest.

"Whether I did right or wrong, since when is it up to a child like you to judge?" Faye raised her head to look at Yoko, her eyes mocking, "We just happened to be on this trip together, it will be over in a few days. If I speak politely, do you think you are qualified to lecture me?"

Yoko was angry, took a step forward and grabbed Faye's wrist "Sister...I won't teach you anything." She was so angry that she couldn't speak.

"Then why do you care? I don't need you to care about me!" A sharp gaze looked at Yoko, accompanied by a sarcastic smile. Faye portrayed the character of Dana, a strong, cold female lawyer who didn't care about anything.

Just looking at Yoko, you could see that she was a little teary-eyed. She also got into character too quickly, just hearing Faye change her voice made her sad and tearful. Her role was An, a military academy student, strong but still young and always caring for everyone. Because they were on the same trip, An cared a lot about Dana, but was always rejected by her.

The crazy woman holding Danny's hand made her usual request. She made Faye hold Yoko's hand and hug her to comfort her. Marisa and Ize sat outside, amazed. Faye's eyes changed so quickly. Yoko got into it just as quickly.

Faye cried in her arms, still holding Yoko. She clearly hadn't done anything. This workshop was really making things difficult for people.
