Chapter 32: Return

The scene stops when Faye is sitting on Yoko, her bare back facing the camera. Cut to this and end.

Because there was a protective layer in front, even though her back was bare, Yoko couldn't see much from the front. Faye only let Yoko see her chest, and Faye was very tactful in wearing a robe. Even so, it was enough to make Yoko blush and feel hot all over. As soon as Director Wan called cut, Yoko immediately sat up, took the blanket and covered Faye, and gave her a bathrobe to put on. After that, she didn't dare look at Faye anymore and went straight to the bathroom.

"Good job. This is the last scene here, everyone should rest." Wanwan happily said to everyone.

To complete this scene, the crew prepared a lot, from costumes to appropriate lighting in the room. Luckily, Faye was very professional, and Yoko was used to kissing Faye, so this scene was not difficult for the two of them and did not need to be filmed many times. Originally, it was just a gentle scene, kissing and then the camera would turn to the night light and it would end. But when Wanwan saw the wound on Faye's back, she found the wound so beautiful and artistic that she suggested she bare her back. Just filming Faye's bare back would end the scene. Just that alone made Yoko panic.

Seeing the little girl running away into the bathroom, Faye chuckled and opened the door to go in. Seeing her sitting on the edge of the bathtub, still wearing only a bra and long pants without a shirt on, Faye tried to get another bathrobe for her. But before she could do anything, the little girl hugged her waist. Faye gently hugged and comforted her.

"Your lipstick is fading." After a while of comforting her to calm her down, Faye joked.

Yoko looked up at Faye and also laughed: "Your lipstick is gone too."

Faye raised her hand to wipe her lipstick on Yoko's neck, secretly feeling lucky that the lipstick color was very light, otherwise if it was red lipstick like the kind she usually used, Yoko's fair face would definitely be covered in lipstick stains. Unconsciously, Faye leaned down to kiss Yoko lightly on the cheek, took a robe for her to put on, then held her hand and led her outside.

Yoko smiled as she watched Faye's smooth movements. She was always so thoughtful and delicate. Not for any personal reason, but simply because she was.

Yoko suddenly felt very clear, her thoughts were no longer wandering and stuck like the past few days. If Faye had any thoughts different from her, she would have acted differently. It seemed like this was the best state for the two of them. Sometimes Yoko had to nod in agreement that she thought too much.

After finishing filming, the crew prepared to fly back to the city the next morning. Since the outdoor scenes had finished, the crew would fly straight back to continue filming at the studio. According to the schedule, it would take about 15 to 20 days to finish all the filming and wrap up.

When they returned to the city, Galaxy no longer asked Faye and Yoko to live together, so this unintentionally gave both of them a break. Especially Yoko, she had time to calm down and think about what she wanted more. As for Faye, she was still the same, radiant and attractive like a sunflower shining in the sun.

The film continued to be filmed intensively and combined with post-production. Although they had to act, Faye and Yoko also had to participate in other activities such as taking promotional photos and filming the intro music video at the beginning of the film.

The game show they had been on before had not yet aired. Thomas informed them that it would be kept and aired a few days before the movie Journey to create a media effect. Faye and Yoko had not seen the show, but Thomas had told them that the episode was very good and would definitely attract a lot of fans.

Everyone on the film crew was focused on filming like that, rushing to finish everything and wait for the premiere date. The atmosphere was more urgent than ever.

....

Faye looked at the group of people standing from afar, feeling that they were truly enemies. Before she could even find that Hanna to ask, Hanna and the Nemo Company staff had already come to the set. As for Nemo's real talent, Yoko Apasra, was standing right next to her, frowning. She also didn't know why those people appeared at the set of the movie Journey. And Yoko was really unhappy, just standing next to her, Faye could feel her exuding the words: 'I'm very upset'.

Seeing Hanna happily walking towards her, the closer the girl got, the more the little girl standing next to Faye emitted an aura that made it difficult to approach. Seeing Yoko suddenly grab her hand and pull her back, then stand close to her and tend to hide her behind her, Faye suddenly remembered that Nam once said Yoko was jealous.

Turning to look at her, Faye saw her chubby face, without any smile but Faye found it very cute. She reached out to stroke her head, cooperating with her by putting her arm around her shoulder, showing that no one could come between the two of them.

Hanna noticed the interaction between the two but just sneered.

"Sister Faye, Yoko!! Hello everyone." Hanna walked over and stood in front of Faye, smiling and saying

Feeling Yoko just stay silent, not wanting to answer her at all. Faye squeezed her hand lightly, her eyes looking at Hanna, greeting but there was no smile in her eyes.

"What are you doing here today?"

Hanna ignored the hostility in Faye's words and said cheerfully, "There's a guest role in the Journey today. I'm the one who will be acting with Faye."

"Oh, let me ask Wanwan again."

'Is Galaxy out of supporting roles that they're putting this girl in?' Faye was confused.

"Yoko, stay here. I'll go ask a few questions and then come back." Faye patted her head and left.

"No, I'm going with you." Yoko didn't want to be alone with Hanna for a moment, so she insisted on following Faye.

Then the two held hands and left.

Hanna's face immediately changed, becoming gloomy and cruel. No one had ever dared to disregard her existence like this.

Receiving confirmation from Wan-san that through some kind of connection, Hanna would be cast in a small supporting role and most of the scenes would be with Faye. Faye felt a bit of a headache. Yoko stood next to her silently from beginning to end without saying a word. As if not aware of the situation, director Wanwan added:

"Yoko's scene is over today. You can go home and rest. Just Faye needs to stay and film with Hanna."

Hearing that, Yoko turned to look at Faye.

"Ha, it's okay. Yoko can stay and watch my performance." Faye naturally understood that the little girl would be angry if she let her leave first like that, so she answered on her behalf.

"Okay. It's up to you two." Director Wan said and went to prepare for the scene.

Faye took Yoko's hand and turned to look at her.

"Don't be mad, it's just a few shots. Hanna can't eat me." Faye joked.

But Yoko was not happy: "She dares to touch you."

This was the first time Faye had seen Yoko act so displeased with something. Not even when she was almost eliminated from a role or harmed on a game show.

It was only when Min told her the script for this scene that she was beyond help. Faye could clearly see Yoko pondering whether she should drag Faye to the car and escape and abandon the scene. Her eyes looked at Faye and then looked out towards the parking lot, as if she was considering whether it was possible or not.

This extra scene is quite simple in content but mainly requires two people to act as close friends. Hanna plays a supporting character who is a paralegal, a junior who went to law school with Faye and later often met at work. This character discovers Faye and Yoko's relationship, so she comes to the office and tries to dissuade her. In the script, there is no other emotion shown here. But with Hanna's eyes, she definitely acted differently.

While preparing to shoot, suddenly someone came to visit the set. It was Nam, Faye's personality-driven friend who only wants the world to be in chaos.

Seeing Nam's cheerful face walking from afar, her eyes that could see through the world passed between Yoko and Hanna. Then Nam looked at Faye who was awkwardly standing between the two girls, Nam laughed until her stomach hurt.

"Hello, my friend! Hello, Yoko."

Wearing sunglasses and her short hair that had just been dyed a stylish gray, Nam was very handsome and smiled at everyone.

"What are you doing here?" Obviously Nam wouldn't come directly if there was nothing, Faye asked directly.

"Oh, I came to visit you to watch you act. And I want to ask Wanwan for a cameo role. Wanwan!" Nam happily winked at Yoko and Faye and went to find Wanwan.

Nam is a famous actress and has a wide network of connections. So Faye wouldn't be surprised if her friend could get a cameo role. But Nam certainly had something personal to tell Faye, which is why she came here.

Very quickly, Wan and Min had a small supporting role for Nam. It was the role of An's sister - Yoko's role. Originally on the Journey train, An's sister had made an appointment with Dana - Faye to travel together. But something happened at the last minute so she did not join the trip, now she only appeared in a few scenes. The actress originally chosen for this supporting role had an unexpected problem and could not participate. So Nam appeared at the right time.

Faye felt that today was strangely bustling. There was Hanna and Nam. From afar, Nam and Yoko were sitting and talking while waiting for filming. On this side, Faye and Hanna were getting dressed for their scene. This Hanna girl kept wanting to turn around and talk to Faye. But Faye pretended not to notice and just looked at her phone.

"How are you and Faye?" Nam sat next to Yoko, leaning back in her chair, comfortably speaking.

"It's fine, sister." Yoko replied politely.

"Do you two still sleep in the same bed?"

Yoko blushed for a moment: "No." Nam always joked like that.

Nam stroked her chin: "Did Faye tell you about the last time she was secretly photographed on set?"

Nam really couldn't stand these two people anymore. One was emotional, introverted, and liked to keep things to herself. The other was extroverted, but liked to stay in a safe zone and not take the initiative. If no one pushed them, they would probably stay together forever like this. So she volunteered to play the role of this matchmaker.

Yoko heard Nam speak and immediately frowned, losing her usual cheerful expression: "What's the matter?"

Then Nam told Yoko the whole story of the day she met Bella. A smart person like Yoko, she quickly understood the source of the problem and why Faye hid it from her, but still couldn't stop her from feeling worried and sad.

"Faye probably never told you. Faye went missing when she was 7. After that...after that, Faye's personality changed completely. No one knows what happened, but it also contributed to Faye's personality. Faye would always keep a safe space around her, not letting anyone get close."

"I don't understand what you mean?" Yoko listened attentively and took note, but she still didn't get the core idea that Nam wanted to say.

Nam took out a candy from her pocket and ate it. In contrast to her usual carefree demeanor, she continued to speak calmly and thoughtfully: "Faye will always keep a safe space around her. So if anyone wants to come closer to stand next to Faye, they have to do something. Otherwise, they have to step back and stay in their proper place." Nam looked at Yoko and spoke sincerely.

'If you like Faye, you have to take the initiative. If not, you have to stay in your place.'

Yoko also leaned back in her chair, looking at Faye from afar who was chatting with the director. She saw Faye's eyes focused on the script, and saw every frown on her face.

"Is it that obvious?" She likes Faye, is it that obvious?

Nam took off her sunglasses and put them in her pocket: "Do you think Faye can't see?"

Yoko could not answer.
