"You look ridiculous," I laughed watching as Hanji ran out of a cafe holding two drinks.

"I can't let a lady wait," she joked, a big goofy smile spreading over her features.

"You know I could've just come inside with you," I hummed, taking my drink from her outstretched hand.

"Sure but then we wouldn't get to have a cute moment where you realize that I remembered your order," Hanji shot me a teasing wink before her hand found itself comfortably in mine.

"Stop standing there grinning like that, let's go-" she tugged on my hand pulling me down the street.

"Where are we going anyway?" I frowned, running a bit to catch up with her.

"You're no fun at all," I sighed, glancing around the direction we were heading.

"If I was going to kill you I wouldn't have spent money on you."

"HOW DID YOU KNOW I WAS THINKING ABOUT MURDER ??"

"You've got that look in your eyes," she explained matter of factly.

"You-" I found myself at a loss for words, "you're really cute."

"Is this just a ploy to get me to reveal where we're headed because it's not happening," she pouted, glancing to the side while a wild blush spread over her features.

the pouting isn't helping at all

"Y/N-" she paused, frowning, "I meant to bring this up for when we get there but-"

"Then save it- you planned out this whole thing right? I don't want to ruin any moments you've planned for."

"No," she said a bit more forcefully, "this sort of thing is better unplanned, and besides depending on how this conversation goes it might be better to have it now."

"Ok then- go ahead," I squeezed her hand in reassurance.

"Are we- what is this?"

"What do you-"

"I mean- is this a date?" Hanji turned to face me, "I want it to be- honestly Y/N if you can forgive me for everything that happened before I would-"

"Hanji- I forgave you a long time ago."

"Then this is-"

"I'd like it to be a date."

"Well then-" a more confident expression washed over her face. "I have a full day planned- where do you want to go first?"
