Author's Pov:

Haeun played with the stones which came on her way. Soonyoung looked at her, "Why are you so quiet?". Haeun looked at him, "I was thinking about something".

"What?"

"I want to grow up fast so that we leave that house this city and everything else, except our friends", Haeun said. Soonyoung chuckled, "Suddenly?".

Haeun nodded, "I am tired of living here. This was the 3rd time we changed our house just because Appa got to know where we live. Once we leave this city, he will never be back in our lives. We can live peacefully".

Soonyoung stopped walking, "Why do you think I am so interested in participating the upcoming competition? There were be some companies too. If we get selected in any one of them, it will be a great thing. This competition is huge".

Haeun looked at him, "So you are participating in this just because you want to leave everything behind and live peacefully?". Soonyoung nodded, "Just three of us. I'll hire you as my manager and then we will earn enough so that Eomma doesn't need to work day and night to feed us".

Haeun chuckled, "Let's do this. I'll too do a job so that Eomma can take a rest. She got holiday after so long and that person decided to ruin it". Soonyoung held her shoulders, "We will go through this Haeun. We will fight for it".

Haeun smiled nodding her head, "But for now, I am really scared about tomorrow's test. I am sure Mr. Lee must be planning on how to kill- I mean fail me".

Soonyoung chuckled, "You will be fine. I have never seen you so determined about History. You will definitely do best". Haeun sat on the swing moving it slowly.

"Soonyoung, I am scared to go back home. What if he is back again?", Haeun said playing with her bag. Soonyoung knelt down infront of her, "He will not be back for now. After whatever happened, he won't come back for now".

Haeun nodded, "Do you think I have hidden talent". Soonyoung thought for a moment, "You do have talent,  you just need to know about that". Haeun sighed, "Let's go back home. I'll study for some time".

After going back home, Haeun went to her room. Soonyoung peeked in, "Don't be awake for too long otherwise you might sleep during exam". Haeun hummed. Soonyoung brought some snacks and water, "Here, if you need them. This is what I had".

Haeun smiled squishing his cheeks, "Thank you so much". As Haeun continued to study, her eyelids grew heavier. Soon she slept on her table.

Next day:

Haeun held her neck, "Ow! It's paining". Soonyoung shook his head, "I told you not to study too much. I knew it you will just sleep there".

Haeun groaned trying to move her head, "I don't know what will happened today".

Haeun went inside her class trying to find her place. She sat on her place and looked around trying to find Joshua. "Trying to find me?", he said appearing infront of her. Haeun nodded but soon shook her seeing him smirk. "I was just looking around seeing others studying". 

Joshua smirked, "You know, Good news. I am sitting behind you today". Haeun stood up, "Why?". Joshua made her sit back and said, "It is not in my hand. Look back, my number is sticked on it". Haeun looked back and groaned holding her neck, "Ow"

Joshua laughed, "You again slept while studying, didn't you?". Haeun nodded. "Should I give you a massage?", he asked. Haeun slowly shook her head, "You will choke me".

"Oh, you understood", he whispered.  Haeun stared at him, "I don't understand, yesterday you were so good to me, like the gentlemen they call you and now, you are acting like a jerk just like I know you".

He smiled staring back at her, "There a lot of things you don't know about me". Haeun smiled, "You are talking like you are a mafia boss and no one knows about that. All the band members are your mafia members. Like Seungcheol is for physical training. Jeonghan is for spying or maybe manipulating. Soonyoung must be forger who forges the documents. Jihoon must be hacker, Jun must be stealer, who can easily steal anything without being targeted and Wonwoo must be Strategist who plans all your missions. At the end you are the mafia boss whose permission is needed just to execute that task".

Joshua laughed, "You have such a wide imagination". Haeun nodded, "I do".

Soon the test started, Haeun looked at the question paper given. "All the best", she heard Joshua whispering from behind. Haeun smiled as most of the questions were familiar to her. As she continued to write, all the points and other things Joshua told her came to her mind.

Joshua looked at her who trying to answer the questions. He smiled as her saw her grinning indicating that the paper is going well.

After the paper was over, Mr. Lee came to the class. The first person he saw was Haeun who was smiling at him. "How was your paper?", he asked. "It was easy", Haeun shouted. All the other students stared at her.

Mr. Lee smirked, "What about others?". All the other said it was not easy. Haeun looked at Joshua, "Was paper difficult?". He hummed.

"Okay, it is fine. All the best for tomorrow's exam everyone", Mr. Lee said collecting the answer sheets. Haeun turned to Joshua, "It was easy. I don't know how I wrote it but I knew all the answers. I did whatever you told me to do and it went so easy". Joshua grinned, "It is good. Now, tomorrow's test is my tension".

Haeun patted his shoulder, "I'll tell you everything that is needed. You are intelligent but you just don't use your brain". Joshua glared at her. Haeun smiled sheepishly.

"Haeun, how was the paper?", Soonyoung asked. Haeun jumped and hugged him, "It was easy. I never expected it to be easy but it was".

Soonyoung patted her head, "I knew you would do it. You are the best. Once tomorrow's test is over then we can focus on the auditions". Haeun smiled.

Joshua looked at them fondly. "Aww, you both are so cute", he said. Haeun looked at the door, "Where is Yerin? I need to tell her about how well the test went". Haeun was about to go when Soonyoung said, "She was talking with Junhui. So, I came here".

Haeun stopped, "She was talking to with Junhui?". Soonyoung nodded. Haeun stood at her place. "I am going to canteen".

Soonyoung and Joshua followed her as they made their way through the canteen. They saw others waiting for them. "How was your test?", Jeonghan asked. "It was so difficult. I hate history", Jihoon said scrunching his nose. Haeun stood beside him, "It was easy for me. But yeah, I hate history too".

Just then Yerin and Junhui came. Haeun smirked wiggling her eye brows. Yerin blushed. "How was your test? What are you guys late?", Jeonghan asked. "We were discussing answers nothing else", Junhui said. Jeonghan smiled.

By his behavior, Haeun understood Jeonghan knows everything. 'What if Junhui has crush on Yerin too and only Jeonghan knows it. I need to talk to yo him', Haeun thought. 

Yerin called Haeun, "How was your paper?". Haeun beamed with happiness, "It was the best history paper I ever had". She looked at Joshua, "And a big thank you to Joshua who helped me through this".

Others including some students sitting beside them looked at Haeun in surprise. "Did I just hear you praising him?", Seungcheol shouted. Haeun giggled, "Yeah".

"I don't know if you guys realised but Haeun and Joshua aren't fighting as they used to. Also I saw them hugging twice, I think", Soonyoung said.

"Waoh, really?", Wonwoo said. Soonyoung nodded, "Yeah. Once Haeun hugged him and second time Joshua hugged her which was yesterday".

Everyone gasped, "They hugged each other?". Soonyoung nodded. Jeonghan leaned towards Joshua, "You still think you hate her after hugging her two times?".

Joshua pushed him aside, "First time it was because she was excited about something and second time it was because I thought she needed a hug. Nothing else".

"Yeah, Yeah. Nothing else", Jeonghan whispered. "I want to see them hugging now", Wonwoo said. Jeonghan smirked, "Yeah, we need to. Joshua is ready to hug her. Go, Joshua". He pushed Joshua.

Haeun stared at him, "Ay. We are not hugging. Those hugs were because I was excited about something. I would have hugged any one of you it if excitement. I-"

Haeun stopped as Joshua got up and hugged her. "Done, now give me the money", Joshua said sitting back on his place.

"Huh?".

"I just said that if he goes and hugs you, I'll give him some money. He did it", Jeonghan said. Everyone looked at them in disbelief.
