Author's Pov: 

As soon as Haeun entered the class she looked at Joshua. She waved at him who was sitting on his desk reading the theorems and formulas. Haeun sat beside him.

"Yesterday you just slept and I kept just blabbering, you know", Haeun said glaring at him. "I was tired, I just slept right away. I am sorry", Joshua said.

Haeun laughed, "I am just joking. I heard your snores though. I recorded it too just in case if I need it to black mail you in future". Joshua shook his head, "Your phone's filled with the stuff you can black mail me with".

Haeun gasped, "How did you know? Like not half but there's a folder I have for black mailing people. I have one for Soonyoung which wins the title of highest storage and second ones goes to you. But there is not much difference. It is something like 5%?".

Joshua chuckled. "I am a bad person. I love black mailing people. Should I join your mafia gang as the black mailer who black mails your enemies until they reveal the truth? Me and Jeonghan will be a team. He will manipulate and I'll black mail", Haeun asked. Joshua frowned for a minute, "You still remember that?".

Haeun giggled, "You are acting like I talked about the mafia thing five years ago but it was just yesterday. I think it's not been 24 hours since I talked about that".

Joshua stared at her, "Don't you have any questions about yesterday's thing?". Haeun looked at him in confusion, "What yesterday thing? The test?". Joshua shook his head, "About my parents. I know you heard them".

"Oh, you are talking about that. No, I don't have any questions but if you want you can create your own questions and answer them", Haeun said. Joshua chuckled.

"Everyone the test will start soon", a class mate said. Haeun got up sitting  at her place. "All the best. You will do good", Haeun said.

Joshua smiled and nodded. As the test started, Haeun looked at the questions. She quickly solved the easiest questions and then focused on the difficult ones.

Joshua did the same thing. He solved all the questions he was familiar with and then came back to the most difficult ones. "How do you solve this", he whispered trying to understand the question. He was stuck again. It was the last question he needed to solve.

"Remember one thing, if you are confused about how to solve a question just leave it. Stop for a minute, take a deep breathe. Just don't panic. Try to recall all the theorems and formula. Don't be in hurry to solve. Sometimes, you momentarily forget everything. Try to understand the question practically rather than theoretically", he recalled Haeun's words.

Joshua did as she had told him to. He closed his eyes trying to remember the formulas, theorems, axioms and all the other things Haeun said was important.

He again read the question. Slowly he understood how to solve it. He smiled and looked at Haeun who was solving her paper.

Time skip:

"As the test is over, let's not study today", Haeun said yawning, "These two three days I didn't get proper sleep. So, I am not going to study anything. It is my rule. 'No studying for the whole day when is the test over'. I love this rule".

"I love that rule too. I am going to implement it soon", Jeonghan said. Haeun giggled, "I'll help you with it".

"How?"

Haeun leaned closer, her voice conspiratorial. “Simple. First, find a cozy spot—a sunny corner of the library, a grassy patch in the park, or even your own bed which I think is the best place in tje world. Then, close your eyes and breathe. Let the stress melt away".

Jeonghan mimicked closing his eyes. “Like this?”, He comfortable leaned on his chair, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath.

“Exactly,” Haeun said. “Now, imagine a world where textbooks don’t exist. Instead, there are hammocks strung between theorem trees, and the breeze carries the scent of freshly sharpened pencils.”

Jeonghan chuckled. “Sounds like paradise.”

“It is,” Haeun insisted. “And here’s the best part: no deadlines, no exams, just the joy of learning without pressure for the moment".

"Exams may come and go but the time won't. You know the real thing is you can enjoy the moment when have worked hard. This rule is only for the people who have worked hard not for those who didn't do anything".

Jeonghan opened his eyes, "It sounds fun but this is all imaginary. I am too tired to do those things. But what do you actually love to do to relieve your stress?"

Soonyoung grumbled, "She just troubles me". Haeun nodded, "I just trouble him but there are other things too like do what you love to do".

Joshua listened to her, "So that means today we are not going to library?". Haeun grinned, "Correct".

Just then Mr. Lee came. Everyone in the canteen stood up. It was weird for everyone to see any teaching staff coming in canteen. He directly came to their table.

"Joshua and Haeun, you are not skipping today's session. Final exam is still there", he sternly said and went back.

"Is he a robot?", Haeun whispered. She sat down, "Why? Why? Why? Can he read the brains? Especially mine? I am not sitting. I'll say I am not well", she whined.

"You can't. He is strict. You know very well, that he knows you very well", Jeonghan said.

Haeun groaned. "Should I go and talk to him?", Soonyoung asked. "No,  he will again start to complain and also he will get a new reason to taunt me. He will think I always use you to make my work done", Haeun replied.

"Then what are you going to do", they asked. Haeun closed her eyes, "Let's see what can I do. But the problem is him. He needs to agree too. What if he goes and tells him?".

All looked at Joshua, "I will not complain. I'll help you with your plan". Haeun opened her eyes, "Really?". Joshua nodded.

Haeun smiled, "Maybe we can just sneak out? I'll whatever is necessary, you just need to follow me".

"It's done then. We will meet in Seungcheol's house today".

Time skip:

Haeun and Joshua stared at the librarian. "What are you gonna do now?", Joshua whispered looking at his book. Haeun kept staring at her.

"Which is your favorite book?", she asked. The librarian frowned, "Why do you suddenly want that?". Haeun shrugged, "Do you like traveling?".

The librarian sighed keeping her book aside, "Not much". Haeun hummed, "Are you originally from here? Like born and brought up?". The librarian nodded.

Haeun asked her few more questions.

"Why do love doing job?"
"Since when are you working here?"
"Don't you feel bored doing the same job?"

"What do you want? Come straight to topic", she said.

Haeun smiled awkwardly, "I was just coming to that topic. We actually don't want to study. Right now". The librarian looked at Joshua who nodded.

"See, we are actually bored right now. I am sleepy. I get proper sleep for the 2-3 days. If I read history now, I'll end up sleeping", Haeun explained. "So what you want to do now?", librarian asked.

"Can we just go back home? Mr. Lee is strict, you know that. I can't make any excuse nor can he. Miss. Hwang doesn't interfere much, so we can't even go and tell her. It is not a secret that Miss. Hwang always listens to him. You are our last hope. Please help us".

The librarian laughed. "Go. Enjoy and sleep. I'll handle Mr. Lee", she said. Joshua turned to her, "You are not joking right?". She shook her head.

"Really. I am not joking. You can go. It is visible that you both are bored", she said, "I'll talk to Mr. Lee. I'll handle him".

Haeun got up staring at her, "It's fine right? I actually have trust issues".

The librarian grinned, "If you ask one more time, I am not gonna send you".

Haeun smiled, "You are not that bad as I thought you to be".

"What?"

"Uh, I'll be honest. I actually thought that you are female version of Mr. Lee but you are actually sweet", Haeun said.

The librarian looked at her, "I can be strict too but you both have worked hard that's why I'm leaving you. But not next time", she sternly said.
