Author's Pov:

"How did you get sick?", Soonyoung asked hearing her sneeze continuously. Haeun nodded, sneezing again.

"I had no idea that it would rain so bad", Haeun said between her sneeze. Soonyoung shook his head taking the towel to dry her hair.

Haeun stared at him, "Where is your prize money?". Soonyoung looked at her, "I have kept it somewhere. I'll take it out whenever it is needed". Haeun sighed, "You better keep that in place, never touch it until and unless it is necessary".

Soonyoung threw the towel at her, "Dry your hair. if want, go and take a shower". Haeun glared at him catching the towel, "This isn't how you treat your sister, my dear brother. I am sick, you should take care of me".

Soonyoung smiled and took the towel from her hand, hitting her with the towel. "Ow! Hit me one more time and I'll sneeze on your face, I am shameless, you know that too", Haeun shouted.

Their mother was in deep sleep, even if you play loud music beside her, she wouldn't wake up until it is time. That would always happened whenever she came home drunk which was an rare occasion.

"Try to do, I'll sneeze back on your face", Soonyoung said, "I am shameless too".

Haeun glared at him pushing him away. She made some weird face. "What are you trying to do now?", Soonyoung asked.

"I don't know why I am not sneezing anymore? I can feel it coming but it's not", Haeun said. Soonyoung shook his head getting away from her, "Don't you dare".

Haeun continued to make weird faces until she let out a loud sneeze. Soonyoung stared at her, "Wow".

Haeun gave a wide smile, "It's not feeling same anymore". Soonyoung slowly stood near her, "Here", he gave her the towel back.

Haeun closed her eyes laying down, "I am bored, again. Life so boring sometimes". Soonyoung chuckled, "So want to go and so some adventurous thing?". Haeun shook her head, "I am too lazy for that now".

Time Skip: 

Yerin and Haeun were walking in the corridor when they heard Mr. Lee asking someone, "Have you seen Haeun and Joshua?". Both of them looked behind, he was angry. Haeun hid behind Yerin, "I am dead now".

Mr. Lee saw Yerin and walked to her, "Do you know where is Haeun? She skipped the tutoring session day before yesterday. Joshua did the same thing, this girl will spoil him".

Yerin looked behind to find Haeun missing. "Where did she disappear?", she whispered turning back to Mr. Lee. "I don't know where she is. But I'll let her know that-"

"You won't let her know that I am searching for her", Mr. Lee said walking off. Yerin sighed and looked around trying to find Haeun. "Where did she disappear?".

Haeun ran away from there as much as she could. She stood in the middle, panting. "Huff, I hope he doesn't see me the whole day".

Just then she caught Mr. Lee walking in her direction, she quickly opened the door and went inside. The room was dark. It was store room.

She kept looking at Mr. Lee  peeking outside, who was walking nearby. "Please go away from here. I am sure if catches me, he will complain about this to principal", she whispered.

It's been 2 minutes and still he hasn't moved from his place. Haeun prayed for him to move. But suddenly her heart beat stopped as she felt someone's presence behind her.

Haeun closed her eyes before turning back and opening the eyes. She saw a pair of looking at her. Before she could shout, the person shut her mouth. "Shh, it's me", he said.

Haeun sighed in relief as she heard the familiar voice, "Were you trying to scare me? What are you doing here?", she asked.

"Same reason as you, Mr. Lee is searching for us like a hungry wolf", Joshua said moving back disappearing somewhere between the shelves. "Where are you going?", Haeun asked trying to adjust with the dim light which came from somewhere.

Haeun slowly followed him. "I am trying to find my bag. I kept it somewhere here", Joshua said bending down looking closely if he could find his bag. Haeun stood behind him.

Joshua stood up properly, "Aish, where did I keep it?". As he was about to turn back, he stumbled on something kept on the floor sending him forward.

Haeun instinctively moved back, hitting the shelf behind her. Joshua's hand reached for the shelf to steady himself causing Haeun to get trapped between the shelf and him. 

Haeun stared at him as he tried to regain his posture. His hands held Haeun's as he tried to maintain his balance looking down so that he doesn’t fall again.

"Careful", Haeun whispered, her voice barely audible over the pounding of her heart. "You almost crushed me".

Joshua's gaze, intense and unyielding, locked onto hers. "Would that be such a bad thing?", he teased, the corner of his mouth lifting in a half-smile that didn’t reach his eyes.

Haeun didn't say anything, as Joshua continued to stare at her.  Haeun's heart beat faster. She wanted to avoid his gaze but something was holding her back.

Joshua's hand slid down to her waist, a gentle but firm grip that pulled her closer. Haeun’s hands found his chest, not to push him away, but to steady her own trembling form.

Haeun’s heart raced. She was acutely aware of the warmth of Joshua's body so close to hers, the faint scent of his cologne, and the way his gaze seemed to hold her captive. It was a strange and unfamiliar feeling.

They both knew they should step back, put distance between them, but neither moved.

They leaned in, drawn by a force which neither of them understood, their faces just inches apart. Slowly, they closed their eyes.

But just as their lips were about to meet, the door clicked shut causing them to move apart, in embarrassment.

"D-Did you hear that?", Haeun asked moving aside as Joshua slowly walked towards the door trying to open it.

Haeun let out a breathe which she was holding for so long. "What happened?", she asked. Joshua shook his head, "The door is locked from outside. I think we need to get out of here as soon as possible".

"What if someone locked it because they thought we were-", Haeun panicked, "k-kissing". Haeun took out her phone to call someone but there was no network.

"How are we supposed to get out from here?", Haeun asked looking around, "There's only one window which is high".

Haeun kept searching for things, "You know if we get caught like this then we can even get suspended. We both don't want that. Eomma already had a lot of problems these days, I don't wanna increase one more".

Joshua stared at her as she tried to stack some boxes on a chair. "You will fall Haeun", Joshua said. Haeun looked at him, "Let's see".

Haeun tried to climb it but still it was too short, her height didn't help either. "Why am I so short? I can't get network here", she said in frustration.

"Be careful Haeun, you might-", Joshua's eyes widen as he saw her struggling. He ran towards her, "Jump down, I'll catch you". Haeun stared at him, "Are you sure about that? Cause just few minutes before you stumbled and somehow we almost-".

Joshua pulled her down. "-kissed", Haeun said. Joshua glared at her, "Other girls blush while talking something about this, while there is not a single hesitation in you".

Haeun blushed. Joshua chuckled, "Now you are blushing, you are actually different".

Haeun looked at her phone and screamed, "The messages didn't go".

"They won't", Joshua said rummaging through the shelfs. "The classes are going to start soon and I don't think they have their phone with them right now", Joshua said filling the boxes with various things kept there. 

"Oh wait, there are still 7 minutes for their classes to start", Haeun said, "But what are you doing". Joshua winked at her, "Just fill the boxes with anything".

"But-"

"Just chill and fill".

Haeun nodded filling the boxes with whatever she could. "Joshua", she shouted. He turned to her. "Found your bag", she said throwing at him.

Joshua kept it by his side and continued his work. Within few minutes most of the boxes were full. "What are we supposed to do now?", Haeun asked.

"Help me to arrange them", Joshua said picking up a box and keeping it on the other. "What we gonna do with this?", Haeun asked seeing him stacking the box.

Joshua stared at her, "How can to be so dumb sometimes Haeun. Just help me, you will get to know everything". Haeun pouted and continued to help me, "I am not dumb".
