Author's Pov:

Days went quick and soon it was the audition week. All the nine friends were busy in preparation. Jiwoo was back and the news of them getting engaged was spread like a wild fire much to their dismay.

About the engagement thing, Jiwoo herself came and told them about her future plans of eloping. She even told them about why she had to lock Haeun and Joshua.

"I told you this is not how the list should be", Haeun said as Joshua trailed behind her, "This is how it was gonna be".

Haeun turned to him, "We had decided to keep it according to the names given but you have done it in alphabetical order".

"Again", Yerin whispered continuing her work. "Do you need help?", Junhui asked sitting beside her. She shook her head.

"Why you both fighting again?", Seungcheol asked. Haeun told him everything, "Wasn't it supposed to according to names given?".

"No, it was supposed to be alphabetically", Joshua said.

"You both are actually wrong", Seungcheol said, "The list is supposed to be by the order of numbers, in sequence. Didn't I tell you that we need to collect it from the school office?".

Haeun gasped, "Oh, I forgot about that. But where is that number list?". Seungcheol shrugged, "I had asked Wonwoo to bring it". All three of them looked at Wonwoo, "I have kept it in my locker, go and bring it".

"Wait, I'll call Jihoon, he will bring it", Soonyoung said. He called Jihoon asking him to bring the list.

"Well, I see the tutoring thing has somewhat reduced your fights", Seungcheol smiled. Haeun smiled back, "I think it has. Atleast we are not hitting or scratching each other like some wild cats, I am happy about that".

"Don't you think it is costing so much? Like we aren't only preparing for the auditions but also the function they are going to keep in next few days", Yerin asked.

Haeun snorted, "Our School rarely gives us such opportunities. They are even calling some judges that's one of the biggest thing our school has ever done".

"Here is the list", Jihoon came carrying a paper in his hand. Haeun took the paper, "Okay, let me read out the names once, you can check it", Joshua nodded.

"Ahn Daehyun"
"Lee Seokmin"
"Kim Mingyu"
"Baek Jungwoo"
"Kim Jaehyun"
"Kang Sungho"
"Boo Seungkwan"
"Lee Chan"
"Jang Hyunwoo"
"Choi Minsoo"

"Yep, that's the list", Joshua said, "There are total 12 of them out of which we will be selecting the top 4". Haeun hummed. "Is that young's boy name here?", Soonyoung asked. Haeun nodded showing his name to him.

"Who young boy?", Joshua asked. "Lee Chan, the one who was against Soonyoung in that dance challenge. He was cute", Haeun answered.

"Yeah, Haeun was even ready to adopt him", Soonyoung said. "Adopt? I need to meet him then", Joshua said. "You should, he is actually talented. I am looking forward to his performance".

Joshua nodded, "Let's call all of them and once again give the instructions. I think it is necessary to do it".

Haeun nodded, "So whose gonna go?". Everyone looked at her. Haeun shook her head while they nodded. "I'll come with you", Joshua said.

As Joshua and Haeun were about to go. "Guys, be careful. Just don't kiss, okay?", Soonyoung said causing Haeun to throw her notebook at him. "In your dreams, Soonyoung", Haeun exclaimed.

Soonyoung laughed catching her notebook in the mid air, "Just making sure that you stay professional", he teased throwing back the book.

"Let's go, babe", Joshua said. Haeun rolled her eyes, "Stop supporting him in everything".

"Babe", Haeun murmured annoyed. Joshua chuckled, "I was just joking". Haeun rolled her eyes, "Let's go".

Joshua looked at her annoyed face, "Haeun did I ever tell you that I love to see your annoyed face. It gives me a pleasure to see it".

Haeun gave a sarcastic smile, "I would love to see your face going purple. Wanna see it?". Joshua nodded. Haeun stared at him, "Not right now. I might get rusticated. After the tutoring session".

Joshua chuckled, "Let's see".

"Can I speak?", Haeun whispered. Getting an approval, Haeun cleared her throat.

"Good morning everyone. I am Kwon Haeun. I would like to make an announcement. All the students who are auditioning are requested to be present in auditorium during the break. Thank you"

Haeun smiled moving back, "Thank you". The classmate nodded. Haeun and Joshua went out.

"Hi", Chan appeared infront of them causing Haeun to flinch. "Hey! Did you hear the announcement?", Haeun asked ruffling his hair. He nodded giving a small smile.

"Well we will be giving you some instructions. The auditions are near. All the best for that, I am rooting for you", Haeun said. His smile widen, "Thank you. I'll do my best".

Joshua stared at Chan. "Don't stare at him like that, you are making the kid awkward", Haeun nudged him. Chan gave a small smile to Joshua.

"I'll go. Let's meet in auditorium", Chan said. Haeun nodded, "All the best".

As he went Joshua stared at Haeun. "Is something wrong with your eyes? Like the way before you were looking at Chan and now you looking at me", Haeun asked.

"You never talked to me with that much sweetness, nor did you ever ruffle my hair like that", Joshua said touching his hair, "The only time you touched them was just to make me bald".

Haeun giggled, "Is someone jealous? Listen to me. I have not but you are definitely falling for me, Hong Joshua. Stay away otherwise you will be head over heels for me", she winked.

Haeun laughed and started walking leaving Joshua behind. He felt weird, something weird feeling crept into him. Haeun turned back, "Are you fine?", she asked.

"Uh, y-yes".

Haeun stared at him, "Are you sure you are fine? Your face is red". Joshua turned away, "I am let's go. They must be waiting".

Time Skip: 

"Hello everyone", Seungcheol said. Haeun and Yerin sat behind somewhere, as the others, the main band members stood at front giving some speeches which Haeun and Yerin couldn't even understand.

"And if you have any problem. You can ask Haeun and Yerin", Seungcheol said. As the heads turned to them. Haeun and Yerin smiled and waved, it was awkward.

"Uhh, please look at front", Haeun politely whispered. Everyone looked at front. Yerin giggled, "It feels weird when everyone suddenly gives you attention". Haeun nodded.

Once all the instructions were given. Haeun and Yerin shouted, "All the best for the auditions. There are only two days left, give your best".

"Thank you", all of them replied.

Haeun and Yerin talked to each one of them. "Hey", Chan smiled. Soonyoung squished his cheeks, "How are you and how is your practice going?".

"It is going nice. I am practicing hard. I won't let you down", he said. He talked to them until someone called him. Jeonghan smiled, "Aww, I want to adopt him". Haeun nodded, "I want to adopt him too".

Joshua rolled his eyes. "And someone else is getting jealous by kid", Haeun giggled. Joshua glared at her. "Also someone is angry to hear the truth", Haeun teased. Joshua closed his eyes. "The moment of realization".

"Hello", the another one came, Lee Seokmin. Haeun and Yerin smiled, "Hi".

While Haeun was talking to Seokmin, Joshua noticed how her smile always grew bigger when he smiled.

"I can feel something burning!", Jeonghan said keeping his hand on Joshua's shoulder. Joshua looked at him, "You should get your nose checked".

"And you should get your heart checked, maybe you will find someone unexpected there", Jeonghan teased. Joshua frowned, "What unexpected will I find? A hole?"

"Damn, you are behaving like Haeun right now", Jeonghan murmured, "This is the reason you are single right now and forever be".

Joshua's frown deepened, "What are even saying? It is going above my head". Jeonghan sighed shaking his head, "Nothing. Just sit down, gulp down some water and stare at Haeun. What else can you do".
