Author's Pov:

"How is your tutoring sessions going on?", Haeun's mother asked. Haeun sighed, "It's going fine but Joshua just keeps zoning out every single time, he sometimes stares at a particular rethinking his life decisions. But he is not bad as I thought him to be".

Her mother laughed, "You are so extra". Haeun smiled, "After all I am your daughter. So I need to be extra".

Haeun's mother stared at before laughing. "How's you work now?", Haeun asked resting her head on mother's lap.

"It is good, my coworkers are helpful too. I am happy to get job in such a big company", her mother smiled. "Soonyoung slept early today", Haeun whispered.

"Haeun, there's something I want to show you", Her mother said getting up. Haeun sat up with a frown, "What?".

"I got my first pay cheque", her mother showed. Haeun smiled, "Woah". Her mother smiled, "I can't tell you how much happy I am. I even brought you and Soonyoung some gifts".

Hauen smiled, everytime their mom got her first salary she would buy some gifts for Haeun and Soonyoung.

"What did you bring us?", Haeun asked. "Did someone say gifts?", Soonyoung came out of his room, his eyes still closed. Haeun giggled pulling him to sit along with him. "Yes, Eomma brought us gifts".

Soonyoung frowned, "Is it my birthday already? Or Haeun's?".

Hus mother laughed, "Soonyoung, you and Haeun share birthdays". Soonyoung widely opened his eyes, "Oh! yes". Haeun stared at him, "Err, you need some sleep. Go back to sleep". Soonyoung nodded and got up, "I'll see the gift later".

"Now tell me what did you bring?", Haeun asked. Her mother gave her a box, "I have brought same gifts for you and Soonyoung". Haeun took the box, the wrapping paper adorned with delicate cherry blossoms.

Her heart raced as she untied the ribbon and lifted the lid. Inside was a delicate silver bracelet. Haeun looked closely and gasped, "Our birthdays as well as the time is craved on it".

Her mother nodded, "Yes, I got it customized for you and Soonyoung". Haeun got up and hugged her mother, "But isn't this costly?".

Her mother nodded, "It is but I had a lot savings. Also you both will be turning 18 soon". Haeun grinned carefully wearing the bracelet.

She showed it to her mother, "It's so beautiful". Her mother patted her head, "Let's keep the other one near Soonyoung's bed".

Haeun nodded taking the other box. She entered Soonyoung's room, he was in deep sleep. She kept the box on his night stand, kissing his forehead, she covered him properly with the blanket.

Soonyoung whispered a small 'thank you'. Their mother stood by the door frame smiling at them. "Haeun, now you too go back to sleep", she said. Haeun nodded removing the bracelet off her wrist.

She pecked her mother's cheek, "Thank you for this". Haeun carefully kept the bracelet back in the box. She loved receiving gifts but more than that she loved taking care of it.

She kept the bracelet in the drawer. Taking her phone, she saw a message from Joshua.

Hello!

But soon he deleted it. Haeun frowned.

Why did you delete the msg?

She waited for his reply.

Haeun threw her phone aside, "He left me on seen?". Haeun got up, collecting all the books spread on her bed. Her phone rang.

'Joshua', the name flashed on her screen. "I am not picking up", Haeun whispered taking the books but soon dropped it down, "Agrhh, I am idiot", she whispered picking up the phone.

"Hello", Joshua whispered. Haeun looked at her phone, "Hello? I can't hear you properly". Joshua sighed, "I just accidentally messaged you".

"So you called me to tell that?", Haeun chuckled. Joshua hummed. Haeun grinned, "You wanted to hear my voice?".

Joshua who was sleeping on his bed, hid his face under the pillow, "No".

Haeun looked at her phone, "So, now you told me it was accident, you can hang up the call".

Joshua, absent mindedly hummed again but soon shouted a no. Haeun laughed, "Is something wrong? Admit that you wanted to hear my voice".

Joshua smiled looking the ceiling of his room, "Maybe", he closed his eyes, "Maybe I wanted to hear your voice".

Haeun felt her heart skipped a bit. "Nah, I am just joking. Who will like to hear your voice", he teased her. Haeun rolled her eyes, "Fine then. I'll hang up".

"No I-".

Haeun had already hanged up the call throwing her phone in the bed, "I wish he steps in a lego and then stubs his toe".

Joshua groaned closing his eyes, "Why did I say that?". He took his phone, trying to call her again but she didn't pick up.

Haeun glared at her phone, "I won't pick it up nor I'll be responding to your messages".

"Anyways, this shouldn't be affecting me. I would have loved if he said that he wanted to hear my voice but- it shouldn't affect me. Yes", Haeun murmured.

Pick up the call, Haeun

She saw the message he sent. Haeun rolled her eyes, "I, myself don't know why I am angry for this".

He called her again, Haeun couldn't help but pick up. "Hello, I have picked up your call to tell you that-", Haeun was cut off by Joshua.

"You have a beautiful voice, Haeun. I was just teasing you", Joshua said everytime in one breathe. Haeun blushed, "I know, I don't know why I was angry".

She heard Joshua chuckling from other side. "But be honest, Joshua. The message wasn't accidental, was it?", Haeun asked. Joshua nodded his head but said, "No".

Haeun pouted, "Fine then, I'll hang up the call. You wanted to tell me right that the message was accidental, you told me. I'll hang up".

"NO", he shouted, "Umm, let's talk? I am bored right now". Haeun smiled, "Finally, you said it". Joshua grinned, "Hmm".

Suddenly there was an awkward silence. "You know Eomma brought me a gift", Haeun said, "There is something craved on it, guess what it is?".

"Your names?", Joshua guessed. "Nope, but it is related to me and Soonyoung", Haeun said. "Ummm, your birthday?", he guesses again.

Haeun smiled, "Yess, there's something else craved on it". Joshua thought, "I don't know, tell me what is the other thing". Haeun giggled, "It's our birth time".

Joshua smiled hearing her excited voice. Haeun and Joshua kept talking until Haeun fell asleep. Joshua who was sleepy hanged up the call, keeping the phone aside.

Next day:

Soonyoung woke up to find a box wrapped in tiger printed paper and tied with a ribbon. He smiled and opened it, his eyes still half closed.

"What's this?", he whispered untying the ribbon. He stared at the bracelet, holding it. "Is something craved on it?", he looked closely, "It's my birthday and some numbers. The numbers look familiar".

He kept the bracelet aside. As he was about to get up, he remembered what the numbers were. "It's my birth time", he whispered.

He took the bracelet and ran to Haeun's room, who still dreaming. "Haeun, Haeun, Haeun, wake up", he shook her violently, making some happy noises.

"What is it, Soonyoung?", she murmured in sleep. "The bracelet Eomma gave has our birthday and birth time craved on it", Soonyoung said. Haeun hummed. Slowly getting of her bed, Haeun took her bracelet, showing it to Soonyoung.

"See, we only have 45 minutes difference in it", Haeun smiled. Soonyoung hummed keeping the bracelets beside each other.

"Haeun, did you notice something?", Soonyoung asked. Haeun shook her head, "What?". He grinned taking her bracelet, "Look at the time you were born".

"It's 12:30", Haeun whispered, "So? There is nothing wrong in it". Soonyoung smiled, "Do you know the birthdays of our group members?".

Haeun sighed, "I do but how is my birth time is related to birthday of the our friends?". Soonyoung stopped smiling.

"It is related. Just try to remember. Especially the one who tutors you", Soonyoung said. Haeun frowned, "If I'm not wrong then his birthday is on 30th December". Soonyoung nodded.

"So? What's the -oh wait, it's 30-12", Haeun shouted. Soonyoung giggled, "Yes. It's fate, Haeun. The universe is conspiring to bring you two together".

Haeun gulped, "It's nothing like Soonyoung. It's just a coincidence".

"Yeah, Yeah. Just name everything as coincidence", Soonyoung grumbled getting up. Haeun threw her pillow at him, "Get out from here before I kick you out".

"I hate you", Soonyoung said throwing it back. Haeun caught the pillow before shouting, "I hate you too".
