Author's Pov:

Haeun gave him a hug. "I'll break your bones if you do something weird again". Joshua laughed, "Break my bones, not my heart. I only have one heart".

Haeun made a disgusted face, "Eww". Her heart raced as Joshua playfully spun her towards the edge of pool. She gasped, "What are you doing?". Joshua smirked, "It's been a long time since I troubled you like this".

"Joshua", she protested, but her laughter betrayed her. She tightly held him. He was too close, his eyes dancing with mischief. She knew him well enough to recognize that look—the one that promised both trouble and adventure.

Without warning, he scooped her up, and before she could react, they were both airborne. Haeun's scream turned into a delighted splash, and she surfaced, sputtering.

"You're insane", Haeun said, wiping water off her face. Her heart raced because of the proximity.

Joshua grinned, water droplets clinging to his lashes, "Maybe a little", he admitted. "But it’s been too long since we’ve had a proper water fight".

Haeun narrowed her eyes, "Maybe a little? No way, you are totally insane".

He swam closer, "But there's something else I have been meaning to do".

Her breath hitched. "What?", she asked, her voice barely audible.

He cupped her cheek, his thumb brushing against her cheeks. "Haeun", he said softly, "I've only got one heart, and it's been yours for a while now".

Her heart beat faster, "Joshua...".

He leaned in, and the world narrowed to the warmth of his lips against hers. It was a kiss that held unspoken longing and the promise. His lips were soft, gentle, and she melted into the sensation. The water around them seemed to hum with electricity, and she clung to him as if he was her lifeline.

"Oh shit", Jeonghan muttered closing Chan's eyes. Seungcheol covered Seungkwan's and Soonyoung covered Hansol's eyes.

"Why are you covering my eyes?", Chan asked trying to remove his hand. "You are a baby. You shouldn't see this", Jeonghan whispered.

"Should we go back in? It looks weird seeing them kissing as I've always seen them holding each other's neck", Jihoon whispered.

They all nodded going back in. The three removed their hands from the youngest eyes. "Why did you cover our eyes?", Chan again asked looking at others with puppy eyes.

"It's nothing, let's go back to our room. We will do practice in evening", Jihoon said. Everyone went back to their room.

Back to the pool,

When they finally pulled apart, Haeun's heart felt like it might burst. She stared at him, her chest rising and falling with each ragged breath. His eyes were dark, pupils dilated, and she wondered if he felt the same way—the way her heart had leaped when he kissed her.

"Are you panicking right now?", Joshua asked. Haeun shook her head, "I'm not but wait a mintue. My heart is about to burst out". Joshua chuckled hugging her tightly. His heart raced.

"Haeun-"

"No wait, Joshua. You are not doing it", Haeun said moving aside, "I'm feeling cold in water right now, can we please get out of here?".

Joshua climbed out of the pool, his shirt hugging him tightly. He extended a hand to help her up, and she took it, her fingers brushing against his. The air between them crackled with unspoken words. They stood there, dripping wet, the world reduced to the two of them.

He gave her a towel, "Here". Haeun smiled. "Now, just shut your mouth", Haeun said. Joshua frowned, "What happened now?".

Haeun smiled, her eyes locked with his. "I've never done this before and if I do mistake ignore it and make sure not to repeat it next time". He smiled wrapping his hands around her waist, "What do you mean?".

"Joshua Hong, we have hated each other since our childhood, basically tried our best to remove our existence from each other's life. If someone had told me that I'll be in love with you, I would have laughed on their faces. I don't even know what I'm saying right now cause this is how I've seen them proposing in movies. But the only thing I want to ask is you,

Will you be my boyfriend?

Will  you be the one I hold hands with during sunsets, the one I share late-night conversations with, and the one who kisses away my fears?".

Joshua chuckled, "I should be doing that but anyways. Yes, a thousand times yes".

Haeun grinned quickly pecking his lips. "Saying I love you would be a huge thing, but still, I love you, Hong Jisoo", Haeun said. Joshua pulled her closer, "I love you too, Haeun".

"You know, once Soonyoung said that if try to know each other, we might end up in relationship and then marriage, children and blah, blah stuff. I laughed on his face that time thinking that would never happened", Haeun said.

Joshua hummed, "So we are in relationship what about further things?". Haeun smiled, "Let's focus on some things too, like our further studies, career". Joshua nodded.

"Joshua, can we please change our clothes? I'll definitely have fever if I stay more in wet clothes", Haeun said.

Joshua's smirk returned. Without warning, he scooped her up again, bridal style. She gasped, clutching his shoulders. "What are you doing?".

He winked at her, "Carrying my girlfriend to her room, of course". Haeun blushed, "What if they see this?".

"Let them know too that their favorite ship has finally sailed", Joshua whispered. Haeun smiled hiding her face against his chest.

"But where are they?", she asked. Joshua shrugged. "Must be in their room-", Joshua stopped as he froze. "What's wrong?", Haeun asked looking at front. She too froze.

There stood 7 humans, each one of them with their teasing smile. "Leave me", Haeun whispered hiding her face.

"So", Jeonghan said leaning against the door frame, "Did you finally confess the undying love for each other?".

Haeun's blush deepened. "You can say that. We are a official couple now", Joshua said lowering her back to the ground.

Junhui raised an eyebrow, "And what about the whole 'hating each other' phase?".

Haeun shot Joshua a playful glare. "We've decided to skip that part", she said, "Life's too short for unnecessary drama".

"Aww, I'll miss my Tom & Jerry show", Jihoon said. Haeun giggled, "You may watch it sometimes though".

Soonyoung, with a serious expression walked towards them. "I'm serious this time. Don't hurt her", he said but soon ended up laughing, "I tried to be serious but I can't". Haeun frowned, "Why?".

"Cause if he actually does something, I know you will break his bones", Soonyoung laughed. Haeun squished his cheeks, "Maybe, I should sometimes listen to you".

"We are happy for you but remember that there are kids around us", Jeonghan said.

"Huh?", Haeun furrowed her brow, confused.

"We saw the pool scene", Junhui interjected, grinning. "You know, when you and Joshua were busy tasting each other's lips".

Haeun's eyes widened, and Joshua's cheeks turned a shade of crimson. They hadn't realized their sudden poolside kiss had been witnessed by their friends. The room erupted in laughter, and Haeun buried her face in Joshua's chest.

"Now, one of our ship has sailed. What about the other one?", Jeonghan asked turning to Junhui amd Yerin.

"W-Why are you looking at us?", Yerin asked avoiding their gaze. "Don't act, Yerin. A 5 year old can tell that you both like each other. Please, me and Joshua have seen and heard all sweet and cute gestures you both did in the car", Haeun said.

Yerin blushed, "I think my phone's ringing". Haeun grinned, "Oh wait, we are not deaf".

"Stop teasing me", Yerin whined. Jeonghan leaned against the wall, his eyes dancing with amusement. "Well, well", he said, "It seems our dear Yerin is blushing like a ripe tomato".

Junhui nudged Yerin playfully. "Come on, Yerin", he said, "Don’t be shy. We've all been waiting for this moment".

Yerin’s cheeks were now the color of a sunset. "I-I don't know what you're talking about", she stammered. "Junhui and I are just friends".

Haeun raised an eyebrow, "Friends who hold hands anytime anywhere", she teased. "And friends who share secret smiles when they think no one's watching? I'm just taking a revenge on you".

Junhui scratched the back of his head. "Okay, fine", he admitted, “maybe we're a little more than friends".

Yerin shot him a mock glare. "A little more? Junhui, you've been serenading me with terrible love songs for weeks!".

"A-ha, so there's definitely not only friendship between you", Haeun teased.

Junhui took a deep breath, his heart pounding. The room fell silent as all eyes turned toward him. Yerin's gaze was a mix of surprise and curiosity, and he knew there was no turning back.

He stepped closer to her, his voice steady despite the butterflies in his stomach. "Yerin", he began, "we've have been through so much. Our daily walks from school t your home. Those secret glances in classes. Us having random late night talks also some late night walks", he reached for her hand, and she didn’t pull away. "And I've realized that life is too short to keep secrets".

Yerin's lips curved into a small smile. "What secrets?", she asked softly.

Junhui chuckled. "The secret that I’ve fallen for you", he confessed. "Head over heels, heart racing, can't-stop-thinking-about-you kind of love".

The room seemed to hold its breath. Haeun nudged Joshua, her eyes shining with excitement. Jeonghan pretended to wipe away tears, and Soonyoung mimed playing a violin. Seungcheol, Jihoon and Wonwoo looking at them proudly.

Junhui ignored them all. His gaze never wavered from Yerin's. "So, Yerin", he said, "will you be my partner in this crazy journey called life? Will you be my girlfriend?".

Yerin's cheeks flushed, "Junhui", she whispered, "I can't tell you how much I waited for this moment. A big yes".

"Everyone, clap", Jeonghan said and the others cheered and clapped, Haeun leaned against Joshua, her heart full.

"Woohoo, finally both of her ships sailed. Jo-ha and Yer-hui", Jeonghan cheered.
