After enjoying a delicious meal, following a full day of exhausting and tiring movement through the forest, Keyla and Cẩm Đan once again set off, to begin their journey, which was full of difficulties and extremely arduous. And once again, they would have to face the dangers that awaited them next. It was even possible that, they might encounter things, even a hundred times more dangerous… than what they had fought against, last night. Specifically, that giant eagle. They were always in a state of nervousness and defense. So that they could easily respond to any dangerous situations, which could happen at any time.

Keyla and Cẩm Đan had passed through, many places. As well as, very long and treacherous paths. No matter how difficult and tiring it was, they could not give up and had to keep moving forward. So that they could, quickly reach their destination, and also find the way out, in this vast forest, like a dark maze. All day long, they had to struggle, without rest. In this dark forest, and the two of them could feel, that time in this forest, passed quite quickly.

In a moment, the sunset had gradually fallen, and the sun also slowly disappeared. Seeing this, Keyla and Cẩm Đan carefully observed, and they did this because they wanted to find a really safe place to take shelter, to stay the night and avoid any unfortunate things from happening, like yesterday. After a while of observing, Cẩm Đan suddenly discovered a spot, high up above. And on that tree trunk, there was a rather large hole carved into it. Seeing that, Cẩm Đan pointed for Keyla to look.

"Hey Keyla! Look up there, that tree over there."

Hearing what Cẩm Đan said, Keyla looked up, following the direction of Cẩm Đan's pointing hand.

Keyla: "Is it that spot?"

Cẩm Đan: "That's right!"

Keyla: "Then let me, fly up there. And check it out!"

After saying that, Keyla immediately flew up, to the position of the big hole on the tree trunk that Cẩm Đan had just pointed at, to see if there was anything dangerous hiding inside or not. Suddenly, she discovered that inside that tree, there were many bizarre vultures sleeping inside. This made Keyla extremely shocked, so she quickly flew back down and informed Cẩm Đan:

"This place… we can't stay here!"

Cẩm Đan: "Why not?"

Keyla: "Because, inside there! Is the nest of the vulture flock, so we can't stay here!"

Cẩm Đan: "Tch! And here I thought it was some big deal or something!"

Keyla: "What do you mean?"

Cẩm Đan: "Just stand there. And watch me, take action!"

As soon as she finished speaking, Cẩm Đan flew quickly up, to the nest of the bizarre vultures, then charged straight into their place. She drew her sword and attacked those vultures while they were still sound asleep. This made Keyla shocked and exclaimed:

"Oh my god! What are you trying to do? There's no need, to go that far."

Cẩm Đan: "Just ignore them! Besides, I don't care about anything. As long as this can benefit our survival, then that's all that matters."

Then, she quickly swung her sword and killed them one by one. Making them scream madly in pain. At this moment, Keyla could only cover her mouth in silence, not saying a single word. After she had finished off all of them, Cẩm Đan threw each bizarre vulture corpse down below. Then she waved to signal Keyla, implying that it was now safe to go inside. So Keyla reluctantly went inside as well, with a bit of guilt over Cẩm Đan's actions. Maybe today, she had a slightly different view of Cẩm Đan.

After finding a safe place to hide, it was just in time for nightfall. And as soon as night fell, it was also the moment… that the bloodthirsty creatures in this forest began to rise and continue their hunt for prey. And so, the hopeless screams once again echoed through the forest. Along with that... the surroundings started to fill up with dark red blood.

But for those who had found a safe shelter, like Keyla and Cẩm Đan, they could feel a bit more secure. As for those who had not found a place to stay and dared to venture into the dark night, they would easily encounter dangerous and deadly things. It seemed that, by now, the two girls Keyla and Cẩm Đan were sound asleep peacefully, in this warm and new shelter. Suddenly, a loud scream came from below:

"Aaaaaaaaa! Please, someone help me!"

Keyla, being a light sleeper, quickly sat up when she was awakened by that loud scream. She quietly crawled outside, carefully and gently, step by step. So she could observe and be alert to any dangers outside. She looked down below and saw someone crawling backward in fear. His face was pale with terror, trembling nonstop. His eyes kept staring forward, and his mouth kept screaming and begging nonstop:

"Is anyone there? Please help me!"

"Please!"

"I beg… I beg you!"

"Please… don't kill me!"

"I beg you a thousand times!"

"Please don't!"

Hearing him keep begging and looking ahead, Keyla couldn't help but be curious and turned to look… Then she saw, in the distance, a monster was approaching him. With a huge body. And what was special about it was… the way it moved, and its body shape, were like a human. And it was completely different from the monsters she had encountered in this dark forest before. Looking more closely, one could see, its face was very strange, seemingly without eyes or nose. Only a giant mouth with sharp teeth, and an extremely long tongue, reaching down to its feet. Behind it was a long tail, constantly twisting and swaying in the air. Very strange to look at.

In a blink of an eye, it rushed toward the boy at lightning speed. He didn't have time to react. And it grabbed him in an instant. Then it used its muscular arms and tore the boy in half, creating a horrific and terrifying scene. It made Keyla break out in a cold sweat from fear. And she could barely breathe. Suddenly, Cẩm Đan also woke up and crawled outside, still half-asleep, not knowing what was going on. So she asked Keyla:

"Hey! What's going…"

Keyla quickly covered Cẩm Đan's mouth:

"Shhh! Be quiet, you wanna die or something?"

Cẩm Đan: "What's going on?"

Keyla: "Look down there and you'll see!"

Cẩm Đan looked down in the direction Keyla was pointing, just in time to see the monster tearing the boy in half and chewing him up hungrily. That also shocked Cẩm Đan as much as it did Keyla. At that moment, both of them froze like soulless statues, not daring to move or even breathe out loud. While the tension peaked, suddenly, a spider appeared, dangling from a silk thread it had just spun, swinging right in front of Cẩm Đan's face. It startled her, and she screamed:

"Aaaaaaaaaa…."

Whenever she saw a spider, she felt like it was a nightmare. So when she saw it, she was so scared she broke the branch she was sitting on, causing both her and Keyla to fall. That reckless act couldn't avoid drawing the monster's attention. At that moment, the two of them sat right in front of it. And for the monster, this was a wonderful thing. But for the two girls, it was a total disaster. Seeing them, it rushed forward, about to grab them. But Keyla quickly shouted:

"Hey Cẩm Đan! Press the emergency escape button on your magic watch!"

Cẩm Đan: "Got it!"

The two of them quickly pressed the button and vanished instantly. Just in time, as the monster lunged forward, almost grabbing them. So it was left disappointed, missing out on a tasty meal. And it had no idea what just happened. After pressing the escape button, the two girls arrived at another place and sighed in relief.

Cẩm Đan: "Phew! That was so close, good thing we escaped in time. I thought we were about to die!"

Keyla: "Tell me about it! And it's all your fault. Because of a spider, you almost got me killed too!"

Cẩm Đan: "Hey! Watch your mouth, how would I know a spider would suddenly appear like that?!"

Keyla: "Even if you didn't know. You should've kept your cool! You can't just scream like that!"

Cẩm Đan: "Ugh, you're so annoying! You've been with me long enough, and you still don't know I'm scared of spiders?"

Keyla: "Enough already, I've said it clearly, and you still keep arguing? You're so stubborn!"

Cẩm Đan: "The stubborn one is you, not me. Got it? I already explained, and you still don't understand?!"

Keyla: "Hey! I've had enough! You wanna go?"

Cẩm Đan: "Yeah! Let's fight then! Come at me!"

And just like that, the two of them argued until near dawn.
