At that moment, the mages on guard were still standing high above, aiming their bows downward, ready to fire at anyone daring to step into their territory.

After a while, they spotted two hooded figures stepping out from behind the trees. Immediately, the guards raised their bows and prepared to shoot.

Sensing that the arrows were about to be launched, Riccardo and Cẩm Đan quickly got into battle stance. As soon as the arrows flew, they swiftly dodged with skillful movements. The arrows that missed their targets exploded with deafening booms.

The two had to keep moving, flying back and forth nonstop to dodge the deadly arrows. If even one of them were to get hit, they would've been blown to pieces by the force of the explosions.

After narrowly avoiding the barrage, they flew closer to the enemy base. Then, they drew the sharp swords hanging at their sides, their faces brimming with fighting spirit, and charged straight toward the mages guarding the entrance.

The enemies tried to raise their bows for another attack, but it was too late. Riccardo and Cẩm Đan struck with lightning speed, taking them down with a single slash.

Once the guards were dealt with, they waved their hands to signal Katharina and Somchai that the path was clear.

Seeing this, Katharina and Somchai immediately followed to infiltrate the hideout. However, getting inside wasn't easy at all—they soon encountered more mages guarding the inner area.

As soon as the enemies realized someone had infiltrated, they drew their swords and charged. Riccardo, Cẩm Đan, and Katharina turned to Somchai and said:

"Go now! Leave the rest to us!"

Somchai nodded, trusting them to handle the fight while he went ahead to rescue Annette.

A fierce battle broke out.

The enemy forces were overwhelming, surrounding them from all directions—not just from below, but even from above. Countless enemies lunged forward, brandishing sharp blades aimed at the trio.

Their speed was intense, and the danger was real. In response, Riccardo quickly used his gravity manipulation ability. Crossing his arms in front of his chest, he cast his spell, causing the enemies' clothes and weapons to become heavily weighed down. Their movement slowed dramatically, and they struggled to even lift their swords.

"Wh-what's happening to my body!?" one of them exclaimed in shock.

With their movement disrupted, Cẩm Đan and Katharina took the chance to launch a counterattack. They split into two directions, rushing toward the enemies to take them down more efficiently.

Cẩm Đan: "Hehe! You guys are dead meat!"
Katharina: "Let's clean up this pile of trash already!".

Right after finishing their words, the two charged into the enemy ranks, slashing down mage after mage with their sharp blades.
