Universe 350

Summary:
Joonghyuk had been watching the low level salary man named Kim Dokja for a week already and he was very sure of one thing: this man sucked at life.

He would only eat the bare minimum, and even then it was all unhealthy food, and he didn’t sleep properly, staying up late reading web novels. He didn’t even dress properly, those ill fitting suits were doing nothing for the man’s lithe and slender body. It had only taken two days for such thoughts to start appearing in Joonghyuk’s mind and by the end of the week he was obsessed with the man. Mind you, such a job requires a certain level of obsession and attentenivness when learning about the entire life of a person but this—this was different.

Or

Assassin Yoo Joonghyuk is hired to kill low ranking salary man named Kim Dokja because he saw incriminating documents on his bosses desk. However instead of killing Kim Dokja, Yoo Joonghyuk falls in love.

Work Text:
In this life, Joonghyuk was an assassin. He was the best assassin in the entire world and now at this point in his career as a killer, he could pick and choose which jobs he wanted to take on. His time and skills were highly sought after, and they came at an egregiously high price, so much so, that only the filthy rich could afford him. One job usually netted him enough money to live the high life for multiple years. Of course, he never bothered to take such long breaks in between jobs, so he had acquired quite the pile of wealth.

His current job was to take out a low ranking salary man. The man wasn’t his usual kind of target—normally offing cartel bosses, politicians and the wealthy elite—but apparently the salary man had seen some important and incriminating documents on his boss’s table. His boss along with four others who could be incriminated by the evidence, managed to pool enough money to acquire Joonghyuk’s services.

Anyone who actually understood the art of assassination knew that completing a kill took time. It’s what separated them from common thugs or mobsters who left far too much evidence. Joonghyuk took his time learning everything about his targets: their routine, their family, their friends, and anyone else they were connected too, what they ate, when they slept, any personal dispute or views, and much much more. The type of killing technique depended on the type of person after all. An unlikable bastard with many personal feuds, meant he could frame the kill on someone else. A person known for spending time in remote locations meant either an animal attack or accident. An over worker who spent far too much time in the office could be framed as having a heart attack. Whether it be poison, a hand gun, a sniper shot, sabotage, or his bare hands, the way he killed his targets depended on the individual.

Joonghyuk tried to suppress his thoughts, attempting to keep his mind focused in a more profession manner, but soon he found himself photographing Kim Dokja’s life in an indecent and unprofessional way. After the second week he had an entire hoard of photos of Kim Dokja: Kim Dokja eating a cream bun and getting white cream on his lips, Kim Dokja bending over, Kim Dokja slurping up hot noodles that made his lips turn red. He couldn’t stop. He needed more of them. But regardless of his unusual focus on the man, he still had a job to do. The photos would be a nice momento.

Then the dreams started—dreams of other worlds and lives all of them containing him and Kim Dokja together. He was sure they were just dreams conjured by his subconscious mind, but still they felt real in a way.

Now when he saw Kim Dokja, it wasn’t just the undercurrent of attraction he felt for the man anymore—now he was thinking about how he could make better food for him to eat, fatten him up niclely until his thighs and ass were squishably plush; how he could take of him and make him follow a proper sleep schedule. That wasn’t the only change his mentality either. He was jealous too—of all the things that took up Kim Dokja’s attention: that nice coworker who always spoke to Dokja, the meat bun vendor on Dokja’s route home from work—even his pet cat, and phone. Joonghyuk wanted all of that attention on him.

After that he started to have lewd dreams about Kim Dokja, so many of them in so many different positions and scenarios. And now Joonghyuk knew with unwavering certainty that he wanted the man to be his. He needed him to be his.

For the first time in his career, Joonghyuk made plans to break his oath as an assassin and kill his client. He carried out the task with detailed efficiency, killing anyone who knew he had been hired, and all five of his clients, staging all of the deaths as accidents or suicides, and then revealing the corrupt actions of his clients to the world.

With that mess cleaned up, he made the next move to make Dokja his. It would have been easier to just kidnap the man but Joonghyuk wanted Kim Dokja to fall for him naturally—or as naturally as orchestrated relationship could be—in order to form a solid base for their relationship rather than use force.

So, he went on official hiatus and got hired at Kim Dokja’s company as a top member of the company who’s job it was to acquire new contracts for the company. Due to his important status he was granted an assistant and out of all of the employees and the many competent assistants within the company, Joonghyuk chose Kim Dokja as his assistant, despite the man’s reservations about not being any good at the job.

Kim Dokja never had a chance after that. Joonghyuk was tall, fit, handsome, and charming, and had put his full effort into wooing Kim Dokja. In under two months, Dokja had officially become his boyfriend; by month five he had convinced Dokja to move into his pent house, which had high security locks that he could use to trap the man should he ever try to break up and escape Joonghyuk; by month six, Kim Dokja’s shyness regarding sex and been obliterated, as the once demure man made habit of sucking Joonghyuk off beneath his desk in his office at work. By month eight, Joonghyuk had asked Kim Dokja to marry him and received an enthusiastic yes. After one year Joonghyuk quit his job at Minosoft and managed to convince Kim Dokja to quit as well and become a house wife of sorts.

Joonghyuk’s new job(or really his old one) would be able to provide them with a cushy life and a lot of free time to spend together. He pampered his lover, adored him with affection and love, and made his star so dependent on him that there was now no way the thought of leaving would ever enter Kim Dokja’s pretty little head.

He had told Kim Dokja that he was a consultant that was hired to settle disputes in companies around the world. It explained his odd travel and inconsistent schedule but Kim Dokja ever the observant one picked up on the fact that Joonghyuk wasn’t actually a consultant.

One night after dinner, while Joonghyuk was washing dishes, Dokja came and hugged him from behind, which wasn’t an unusual occurrence—Joonghyuk’s nickname for him was squid after all, for how he liked to wrap himself around Joonghyuk and not let go—but there was an unusual tenseness in Dokja’s body.

“Joonghyuk-ah?” He called with a muffled voice, his face buried in Joonghyuk shirt. “You—the job you do—it’s something dangerous right?”

At those words, Joonghyuk took off his dishwashing gloves and turned around to embrace the shorter man, squeezing him tightly in his arms. “Yes.”

There was no point in lying, although he hoped Dokja wouldn’t ask him to elaborate. He didn’t want Dokja to know that side of him and he especially didn’t want Dokja to get scared and try to run because then his star would have to learn how much of a monster he could be.

Dokja nodded his head in response, although his head was still buried in Joonghyuk chest, so it forced Joonghyuk’s shirt up and down. “It’s not . . . anything to do with harming kids or human trafficking or something of that nature, is it?” He asked hesitantly.

“Absolutely not.” Joonghyuk replied firmly.

At those words, Dokja finally looked up and gazed into Joonghyuk eyes. “Ok.” He said, smiling after, and pulling himself out of Joonghyuk’s arms, only to grab onto Joonghyuk’s hands to pull him to the sofa. “Grab the cookies, I want to start our movie before it gets too late.”

Joonghyuk was extremely perturbed by Kim Dokja’s nonchalance about finding out that his husband probably had a job that wasn’t exactly legal. “That’s . . . it? No more questions?”

“Nope.” Dokja replied, cutely popping his lips on the p sound. He stopped pulling Joonghyuk towards the couch and gazed back at the taller man with serious and enamored eyes. “Those were just the things I couldn’t forgive. I’m not willing to give you up for anything else. Selfish right?”

Ah, his star really is his perfect match.

“Not at all.” Joonghyuk rumbled out. Then he began pulling Dokja towards their bedroom.

“Wait Joonghyuk—the movie!”

“The movie can wait.”

They the spent the next day in bed watching whatever Dokja wanted because he could hardly walk after such a passionate and thorough fucking, courtesy of his horny husband.
