While we prepared for the beach, Inioluwa and I who I wasn't aware was going before. If I had known she would go, I would not have her agreed to go. I thought she and bro Tayo were fighting ni.

Anyways, while we prepared, there was a knock on the door which I answered. Standing before me was bro Tayo with a shopping bag.

"Where is Ini?" He asked me.

"Which of them?" I asked in reply.

"Me obviously, dummy". Inioluwa said from where she sat annoying the shit out of me.

I could have given her another hot slap in that moment but yesterday was one drama filled day, I didn't want to be in another of my dad's black book.

She walked majestically to the door as if she were some Queen of some sort. I just hissed and left the door to pack my own load while I stylishly noticed how bro Tayo gave her the shipping bag.

I even wonder where he got money to be buying things for her. Maybe it was even him that bought the expensive looking round-neck she was wearing and crazy jeans sef, who knows.

"For the beach" he told her.

"Awwwn... thank you baby". She replied making me scoff. Thank you baby, lenu omo 15 years old( coming from a 15-year-old kid).

I'm not an hypocrite please. Yes I like Benson, yes I would love if he liked me too but do I want to start dating him? No! It's just too early to have a boyfriend or not. Anyways, I'm just pissed off by their silly "relationship".

I packed my beach wear, a long chiffon dress that buttoned down up to my belly bottom and a shirt to wear beneath. I wore a black crop top and boyfriend jeans with fancy slippers.

Benson promised to get me a bucket hat but I carried one with me just in case he forgot. All of us sha got ready and left the house. Bro Tayo ordered Uber that carried us to the junction.

I did not even know that they chattered a car sha, rich kids. A part of me was even beginning to wonder who funded this hangout, it was definitely not my poor brother. Or wait..... were we going to pay transport fare? Me that I have only 1,500 in my pocket nko?

"Bro Tayo will you pay my t-fare?" I asked my brother who looked at me like I spoke Chinese.

"Everybody has paid for the hangout nau? Shey you did not know?" Bro Tayo asked me.

"How will she know, when is Benson that is doing everything for her?" Inioluwa said from beside him. I held it in once more but I told myself that would be the last time for the day.

"Benson paid her 10k? Wawu!" My brother said not so surprised but for me, I was very surprised! So they paid 10k for this! Jesus!

We entered the car and every other person was already there. Bro Tayo and Ini sat beside each other next to bro Jason who was talking nonstop on his phone with his mom.

There were only two spaces left in the car, one was beside Dayo and the other beside Benson. I was torn between sitting with Benson or Dayo that invited me. I even thought of going to the from seat but then I saw they packed carton of drinks there already.

Deciding put shame in one corner, I just sat down beside Benson jeje. I did not even know that they were all watching me, as I sat down like this they all shouted "ooooooo".

Wahala, what is all these one bayii.

"Our 30k" bro Jason said, asking Dayo who seemed so disappointed. I began wondering what 15k.

Dayo handed 30k cash to bro Jason who collected it forgetting completely about his mom on the other side of the phone. He removed 10k and gave it to Inioluwa.

"My trip money has come back to me". Ini said happily making me wonder where she even saw the money in the first place.

Jason also counted 10k and gave Benson who smiled and shouted "Giveaway time!!!!"

As everyone shouted and hailed him, I was left confused.

"Wait, Cecilia is still coming, she will kill you if you do giveaway behind her back". Bro Tayo said.

"That's true, keep it till we reach there, use it for games". Bro Jason added in agreement with bro Tayo.

"Wait oooo, which money are you people sharing that you did not tell me?" I asked them.

"When we were paying for hangout did they tell you? Better mind your business". Ini said in a sharp tone that was filled with so much envy.

"What's your own with who paid or not? Is it not for everybody's money to be on ground?" Benson asked her angrily. He seem not to really like her sef.

"Oh Benson, knight in shining armor". Ini replied.

"Benson? I'm not your boyfriend shey you hear. Because Tayo decided to date you does not mean all of us have become your mate!" He told her.

It was then senior Cecilia came and sat beside Dayo, she even seemed angry that I was already sitting with Benson. Wahala for who wan sit here ooo.

"Wahala! Sorry ooo, old man". Ini said in the most disrespectful manner ever.

"Ini, stop!" Bro Tayo warned her but she did not answer.

"No na, shebi he is feeling big ni". She said.

"And why won't I feel big ooo? I'm older than you, I worth more than you, I even have sense more than you and I'm not living like a refugee because I can't go home!" Gbam! He dumped it all on her.... Good going Benson.

"Kill yourself then". She replied him. He was going to talk when I tapped him.

"Just stop Benson, let's not start this with fight abeg, you know that girl no too get sense like that (let's not start this with fight please, you know that girl does not really have sense)". I told Benson who just nodded.

"It's true sha". He said.

The car was already moving like this, since Cecilia entered sef because it was her we were waiting for.

"Omoh... see life! Me I can't call you Benson but she can?" Ini said not letting go of the matter.

"Yes, because she is not you! Put some respect on my name". Benson replied her.

"Opoor, Seyi vibez". Dayo said making everyone except Ini and Benson laugh.

"Eri, call me Jason too. Bro Jadon sounds weird". Bro Jason said from where he sat. Benson quickly look at me and shook his head.

"Don't mind him ooo, Jason kor! Like it or not you are bro Jason, live with it". Benson said almost immediately.

Everything just be like drama because what is all this fight over "bro".

"Me I will call you Jason jare". Ini told bro Jason who just laughed.

"That's if I answer you". He replied her, it was  Cecilia's turn to laugh now. She seemed not to really like Ini. Actually, everyone here doesn't really like her.

"You people should stop ganging up on my girlfriend". Bro Tayo said, taking her side.

"Girlfriend?" Senior Cecilia asked laughing in a very mocking manner. "Where were you when your so called girlfriend was running her mouth at others?" She added.

"So-called girlfriend? Look at this girl ooo". Ini said

"This girl? Don't worry, we will meet in school on Monday!" Senior Cecilia told her putting all her running mouth to a halt.

Senior Cecilia is the current head girl, well... until the acting SS2 prefects gets officially announced and that should be next week sha.

"Let's just go to the beach in peace please! All these fight ehn, it's useless". Bro Tayo said making everyone shush.

It was all quiet for a while until senior Cecilia decided to break the silence finally giving an answer to the question that have been running through my mind.

"So you people have shared the bet money abi? That's what was even paining me as I entered and saw Eri sitting beside Benson. That's how I lost my 5k like this". She said.

"Did I not tell you she will sit beside Benson? Shey you don't know how close they are?" Bro Jason asked her in response.

Wait.... they placed a bet on me sitting beside Benson?

"Especially not after she heard he paid for her hangout". Ini added. She must always talk trash sha.

"And that is not why! So just shut up". I replied her immediately.

"No wonder Dayo have been silent. Na so you take lose!" Senior Cecilia said.

Oh, the bet was between me sitting beside either Dayo or Benson! Wow!!
