~You're too late~
(No one's POV)
Two weeks later and Rory is starting to feel better. Luke was going to walk down her down the aisle. Everything was going fine. Rory even had forgotten that Christopher had not responded to her phone call.
While that was still the case until one day, and finally Christopher calls her back. Rory was sitting with Logan going over wedding plans. Everything was going well and then, it suddenly changed.
Rory's phone starts ringing, Rory sighed and picked it up.
"Hey, Dad", She said, coldly.
"Hey, kiddo. I just saw your phone message. Something about you wanting me to walk you down the aisle. Well, I'm so sorry kiddo but I'm not able to do that. I have a business trip that week", he said.
She sighed, and said, "Of course, you have a business trip that week. Well you don't have to worry about not coming anymore".
"What do you mean? Who are you going to have walk you down the aisle"? Christopher asked, very confused.
"Luke, Dad. Luke will walk me down the aisle", Rory implied.
"Luke? Why Luke? He is not even your dad, or even your step-dad".
Rory sighed, and said coldly. "Well, actually he has been pretty much my Dad, since he treats me more as a daughter and as been like a father to me, since my real father can't be bothered".
"Oh, come on Rory. Don't be like that. You know that I can't control when I have to go out of town on business. I'm your father", Christopher shot back. He couldn't understand why Rory was being this unreasonable.
"Oh, please. Like you have never never tried to get out of anything, workwise. How many times have you made promises that you know you get keep and then end up not showing up?! Have you even looked at your messages these past two weeks? If you had, you would have seen that I have, why not answer me. Also, you know there has been something between Luke and Mom for years and didn't get together. You know why? Because, she was waiting for you to get your act together to maybe so she and you can finally get together, but you don't. Just, don't anymore Dad. It hurts too much to think that maybe you don't care about us. Because, that's what it seems even if that's not true", Rory said, out of breath.
"Rory, come on", Christopher, trying to reason with her.
"No, Dad. We are done, Mom and Luke are getting back together. And, if you try to ruin them getting back together. Then you and I are definitely done", Rory said, sadly and partly angry. "Good bye, Dad".
Rory hung up before Christopher could say anything else. She looked at her phone, so finally it comes out he cares more about his job then her.
Logan went over to her and said, "You okay"?
Rory turned to look at him and said, "No, I'm not. But, I will be".
Rory and Logan enjoyed the rest of their day, at least tried to.

Let me know what you think about this.
Hope you have enjoyed reading this.
I know that this might seem harsh, but I was just trying to stay true to what Christopher truly was like. Never took any responsibility for his actions and it always seems to be Rory's or Lorelai's fault.
And, if this was truly thought about Christopher did choose his job and his business trips above visiting Rory, or Lorelai. And, I know seeing them hurt him a lot because he truly wanted to marry Lorelai from the beginning, but she never wanted to because of the way that his business ventures never really to work out. And, he did say in the episode "Christopher Returns" that it's better to stay away, because every single time he sees Rory she is grown up and it hurts.
So, he stays away but he always does comes, excepting that they were just going to wait around for him, but then he decided to move on himself, getting with Sherry.
And, then when Lorelai moves on, he is very upset (what is Lorelai supposed to do, stay available for him without her not being happy?). And, then not only is he upset but he goes out of his way to break up her and Luke's relationship (in "Season 5, Episode 13: Wedding Bell Blues"). And, he never took responsibility anything that he did, or acknowledge his role in anything. No, it was always Lorelai's fault.
I hope that you like this chapter, and I'm sorry about the rant. :)
